The Heron Cottage was built in 1914 and was part of a network of small farms that existed in what was then the hinderlands of Portland. Now it's an urban vest pocket neighborhood with easy access to a regional hospital, light rail, bus routes and freeways. This is a pedestrian neighborhood with very narrow streets. We know our neighbors and enjoy the cultural diversity of this little enclave. The cottage's front porch beckons you to slow down, relax and maybe even make some new friends.

Located in country setting surrounded by vineyards between Sherwood and Newberg, while still being close to Portland and Beaverton. 3 miles from Devonwood Equestrian Center. Enjoy the entire 4BR/2BA downstairs apartment with a private entrance, parking area and your own patio and BBQ. Our duplex is close to restaurants and family-friendly activities. We are located 4 blocks from downtown and one mile from George Fox University. You’ll love our location because of the proximity to parks, downtown Portland, and the coast. Our little home has all you'll need for a great stay: comfortable beds (Two Queen-size beds), kitchen and laundry facilities, local air TV, and Wi-Fi. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, and families.

Our basement has been newly renovated. Brand new bedroom, beautiful bathroom and living space. The living space includes a 57” Smart TV and couch. The wet bar features a mini fridge, sink and Keurig Coffee maker. The bedroom has 1 queen sized bed with hotel luxury 1800 bedding sheets, a dresser, full length mirror and natural light window. Our house is centrally located with dozens of restaurants, bars and coffee shops just a short walk away!

Our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay with the convenient location and amenities. You'll have the space all to yourself as you explore Portland and the surrounding areas or return to after visiting friends and family. Walk to excellent restaurants, call in a local delivery, or stay in and cook with a fully equipped kitchen. Restless kids (or adults) can grab a ball and explore the 16 acre park one block away.

Lovely cottage in SE Portland neighborhood. Bright and quiet. Easy, free parking. Nice park at the end of the block with skateboard park, soccer field, basketball court, and playground. Great public transportation: 2 frequent bus lines within 1.5 blocks. By car, 15 minutes to downtown Portland, 30 minutes to Multnomah Falls, and 1 hour to Mt Hood skiing!
