Fantastic villa. It’s not often you get to stay in en enormous house that used to be part of a Sultan’s place. Even after reading all the positive reviews it exceeded expectations. The house is an experience itself and Rafael as a host is very easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips. If you want to treat yourself to exceptional experience while in Stone Town. Highly recommend!

Hashim’s place in Fumba Town is a true sanctuary. Clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for rest, reflection, or remote work. The space is modern, airy, and filled with natural light, with a balcony that feels like a private retreat. Fumba itself is calm, secure, and beautifully laid out — ideal if you want a break from the tourist buzz. What really sets this stay apart is Hashim himself: kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful without ever being intrusive. He genuinely wants you to feel at home, and it shows. Whether you’re creating, healing, or just needing a safe, quiet space — this is it. I left feeling more grounded and clear than when I arrived. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Smukt, privat, roligt. Det perfekte sted at koble fra og glemme hverdagen for en stund. Der er massere af plads til frit at udfolde sig, om man er til træning og yoga, eller hellere vil ligge ved poolen i enten sol eller skygge. Smuk udsigt og gennemført have.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und 3 Restaurants in Gehdistanz. Zugang zu Strand nur bedingt möglich. Für Strand-, Stone Town-Besuch oder Aktivitäten braucht es einen Taxitransport oder ein Auto.

Wir haben - lange ist es her - selbst 2 Jahre in Zanzibar gelebt und es jetzt wieder besucht. Dafür war die Unterkunft perfekt: sehr geräumig, ausgestattet mit ausgewählten Antiquitäten, komformtabel, Privatsphäre über den Dächern, für zanzibarische Verhältnis mehr als herausragend. Die Lage kann für einen Besuch von Stonetown nicht besser sein: zentral, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, den wir direkt vor der Haustür parken konnten. Zur Sicherheit empfiehlt es sich, vorab mit dem Verwalter vor Ort zu klären, dass man keine Strafzettel bekommt. Wir werden diese Unterkunft bei unserem nächsten Besuch garantiert wieder buchen.

My 3 week stay at Wanja's place was peaceful and I felt at home. Wanja and the Aura Space Team were always responsive to my inquires and accommodating to my needs during my stay. This was my first visit to East Africa and to Zanzibar so I appreciated each of the dining and sightseeing suggestions Wanja provided. The area was very walkable and I met many friendly locals who helped to make my stay enjoyable. I would stay at Wanja's place again.

Nous avons découvert notre Eden, où la réalité du lieu dépasse la description de l'annonce. Une belle découverte avec un équilibre parfait entre la modernité des équipements, du design et la parfaite harmonie du lieu avec son environnement naturel (faune et flore tropicale) autour de la thématique de l'éco responsabilité. La vue de la terrase extérieure est à couper le souffle et nous transporte dans une rêverie éveillée. Quant aux hôtes, Karl et Salha, on peut difficilement faire mieux. Toujours à l'écoute, en essayant de trouver des solutions pour nous faciliter notre séjour et quelle réactivité. Une communication parfaite et des services supplémentaires proposés pour améliorer encore plus l'expérience ( chauffeur, guide local, cuisinière, massage à domicile, location de voiture amené directement au logement...). Bref le meilleur compromis entre les services d'un palace et la tranquillité dans le bien-être d'une location privée. On ne voulait plus en repartir, petit paradis
