Emma’s place was amazing. Located in an amazing location right on the promenade, beautifully furnished and decorated and clean to a 5 star hotel level. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for a peaceful, romantic getaway. The space itself is cosy and clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly accommodating and flexible and really fast at responding, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, intimate place to relax.

We like fell walking. This flat was perfect and allowed us get up and out for an early start on the fells. It meant we could park more easily and see the fells just after sunrise. Parking space right outside front door excellent, virtually in town centre will all the pubs and restaurants to hand. Flat was very clean and well equipped with great views over Fritz park and fells beyond. Will definitely return.

Had a fantastic stay! The hosts were amazing—always available to help, even with weather updates in Blackpool 😜. The location was perfect, and the place was lovely and very well-kept. Highly recommend!

Herdwick were great hosts with great communication. Everything about the flat is of a very high standard. The only thing that could help even further is a 'welcome book / guide' that explained applicances / walks / wifi (the mesh inc passwords), local shops / restaurant recommendations / recycling etc.......guests would just be able to get even more from their stay.

really lovely place to stay in the Lake District. The accommodation is modern, clean and reasonably spacious (it can sleep 5 but dining table is small and can only fit 4). But the bedrooms are nice with super comfortable beds, and both bathrooms are right next to each bedroom, which is really handy . The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer too which we didn't use but great to know it's there for the future. Only improvements I could suggest is to include a coffee machine ( which every Airbnb property we've stayed at has had and are cheap but great for guests who enjoy a decent coffee in the morning), and for the TV to have terrestrial channels. It was a smart TV so it was great being able to connect our Netflix account to, but this and catch-up was all that was available. These are minor points as neither would stop us returning. Louise and team were very responsive to our queries which was great. We'll definitely return soon and can recommend this place.

Incredible location, lovely place, super comfy beds, very peaceful, super clean, lake access, away from the bustling Lake District tourism but close enough when we needed it. Sally was helpful and responsive. The best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had. Worth every penny!

I had a lovely weekend in Catherine’s ideally positioned apartment. Very comfortably furnished and well equipped.

We stopped over in Appleby to break up a journey from Suffolk to Scotland. The cottage is ideal as little bolt hole, full of character and comfort. We loved being right across from the river (sadly, didn't spot the otters!) and the chippy was almost next door which was handy too. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely cottage in a perfectly idyllic setting tucked away 5 mins from all amenities in Ambleside. Very clean and well equipped and Catherine was very easy to deal with. Would be happy to return.

It was a great home to make our base to the Lakes. Windermere is about 45 mins drive. the house had more bedroom than we expected, decent kitchen, 3 bathrooms and local superstores about 4 minutes drive. Free on street parking may not be found always outside the house but never more than a minute's walk away. the small patio at the back was nice right outside the kitchen. Definately good value for money!

We loved Mews Cottage and found it very cosy and homely. We loved the cherry blossom and acer trees through the window. We really liked Arnside and the surrounding area. Paula was a very friendly and communicative host.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

This is a lovely place, and Sam is a friendly and very responsive host. The surroundings are beautiful and the views are expansive. We stayed in the servants wing (one of three places on offer at Claughton Hall) and it was really well-appointed, and in keeping with the style of the property. The beds were super-comfortable, great shower, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Sam’s directions were spot-on, and they needed to be because the property is well away from the main road, through a small narrow village and along a farm track. For us this just added to the charm and privacy of the place. It’s a special and unique place to stay and we recommend.

The host, house, parking and location were great! Even the weather was better than we expected. We particularly liked the peaceful setting, sitting out on the rear patio with the stunning views, listening to the sound of the babbling river. It was lovely being able to walk into the town to have a drink, wander around the shops (and market) and there was a lot of choice of restaurants, take aways and a convenient supermarket for anyone wishing to cook. John came to meet us when we arrived and was very welcoming and helpful with instructions and local recommendations and there were no issues at all during our stay. Thank you John and Keswick for a wonderful holiday.

We had a fantastic short break at Thomas Gray house. The house itself was well-designed, clean and comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful, with easy access to the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Our children particularly loved the Air Hockey and other games, as well as the huge TVs. They didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay.

Andrew’s flat was exactly what we needed for a 2-night stay to attend a wedding nearby at Town Head Estate. Check-in was really easy via the key safe and there was ample parking for 2 cars. The flat was clean, well-equipped for 4 adults and also had a useful booklet of recommendations for things to do & useful contacts in the local area. We unfortunately had an issue with the hot water & heating going off during our stay but Andrew was responsive & communicative and got the issue resolved in less than 2hrs. Overall we would recommend this accommodation and would happily stay again if visiting the area in the future.

River Vista was an extraordinary experience, with seamless communication and a perfectly helpful, well crafted description of the place. Absolutely incredible! A great place to stay in an area that was very peaceful. Clean, tidy and supplied everything for our stay with all your needs. Would recommend!!

Great location for us visiting family. Would be good for walkers /bird watchers etc as good coastal access . Lovely view from main living area.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is finished to a high standard. You can hear a small bit of noise from the other apartment, but nothing that bothered us. It’s right by the river with a small balcony to sit on. It’s well located with around a 20 min drive to Windermere. Sophie and Mark were very responsive on messages.

This was a lovely place to stay with my family (my wife, 5-year-old, and 2-year-old). The property is a first-floor flat facing the river, with wonderful views at breakfast!. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Keswick, with both the Booths and Coop being similar, both slightly closer than that. The property itself is a characterful and slightly quirky layout that retains its historical charm whilst having had a modern refurbishment. The instructions Lara gave were really clear and helpful in terms of finding the property and operating the door access and the heating. We would gladly stay here again when we are back in Keswick.

Jack's place was absolutely ideal for what I needed. space for the dog to be left when it wasn't possible to take him with me. I will definitely book again in the near future. It could just be doing with a better clean and the stuff left in cupboards is a bit lax, but other than that very comfy bed, and definitely served it's purpose!!

Lovely and spacious apartment fully equipped for our weekend away. Perfect combination of rustic and modern aesthetic. Kitchen was fully suited for all cooking needs. Bathrooms and all other areas were spotless. living room was a cozy place to chill with plenty of space. Location is perfect as right in the heart of Kendal with nearby shops and restaurants if needed. It was easy to travel to anywhere in the Lake District from here. Check-in was very straightforward.
