Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

A gem of a home if you’re looking for a waterfront property with great lake access. David’s home is well stocked with everything you need - from baking to cooking , from laundry to great choices of board games , a nice library if reading by the water is what you care to do . If you’re a bass fisherman like me , you have direct access to Squantz Pond, which can be a great fishing alternative to nearby Candlewood Lake. The property is close to the main road and traffic can be a nuisance to folks who are not used to it . City folks like me don’t mind it. David was a great host , very responsive . There was a slight miscommunication during check in , but that was taken care of right away . My family hopes to come back again . BTW, for those who don’t know how to play the piano , take some brief lessons before coming and impress your folks. Joe

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Mark’s Airbnb! The home is newly remodeled with beautiful furnishings and all of the beds were very comfortable. Our daughter was graduating from college so we chose to stay in an Airbnb over a hotel so my in-laws could stay with us as well. It worked out perfect and we especially loved the kitchen.

We loved our stay at this beach house. The house was gorgeous, and we especially loved gathering around the huge island in the kitchen. My 5 year old son loved the beach which was just a stones throw away. Would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect romantic getaway for our anniversary! I would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor patio more and spend extra time by the beach. Ned was very responsive and helped answer our questions very quickly. While it was a private and quiet location it was still close to a lot of restaurants, breweries, beaches and things to do. Highly recommend!

This place is sublime. Beautifully furnished and styled, this is possibly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Feels much more like a home than a rental. Serene and quiet with a deck and stone terrace overlooking the pond, the sounds of the waterfall, birds and the wind in the trees are perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing stay. The expansive living room, dining area and kitchen flow well together and make for a fantastic social space with direct access to the terrace. And the whole place is a delightful blend of historic charm and modern living. The open fireplaces add a whole other level of charm. The kitchen is also really well equipped with a good array of spices, condiments Rd nets and more for anyone looking to cook (which we did). Erin is also a great host. Highly responsive and very helpful. We were a party of 5 and we all agreed we want to return.

JONATHAN’s place was absolutely amazing for an Easter getaway. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. Check in was super easy and the communication was superb. The location of the house on the beach was unmatched. The space was huge and perfect for our family of 5. We will definitely be returning.

The house had stunning views from every room on all floors. The kitchen was well-equipped for our large family. The owner’s responses to questions about the property were prompt and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub since it was too early in the season for the swimming pool. My family agreed we would rent again if a reunion is planned.

Clean , modern apt. Very easy to navigate with the technology. Staff very friendly and helpful. A bit noisy on street outside with traffic. Will definitely rent again with URBY, but request a courtyard side unit

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse. Having lived most of our lives in Milford, a place we truly love, the location in the historical district was perfect. The Boathouse was comfortable and well equipped. Curran was the perfect host, he was actually traveling himself but was in contact with us to make sure we were able to get into the apartment. He also contacted us during our stay to make sure everything was alright. We look forward to staying at the Boathouse again.

Christian’s place was a cozy, typical East Rock apartment. Great proximity to the shops and restaurants on State Street and in East Rock, and in a very walkable, scenic neighborhood. He provided good instructions for some of the quirks of the house and for things like parking passes. And he even put out some snacks in the kitchen too! 🙂

Renee’s place was a nice and cozy getaway from the city, and surprisingly fit 5 people + 2 cats very comfortably! She was also very quick to respond to any questions I had, we had a great time!

Great communication. Great space. very beautiful home and outdoors. perfect if you have kids. We used the playground and grill. Very flexible, easy to reach and very friendly.

This apartment was perfect. Great restaurants all in walking distance. Very easy and safe parking garage upon arrival. The apartment was clean and spacious for two people. All the appliances worked, and the water was hot. The location was also very good. Less than 20 minutes from major hiking trails and 35 minutes from Time Square. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here for sure.

I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

Place was amazing! Had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Is a beautiful home and close to everything that is needed. Loved how private it was and how clean everything was. Highly recommend.

Lovely and Rustic for sure. A bit of a hike 10-15 minutes up to it. Bed is comfy too.

Super cute interior. Just like the photos. Absolutely pristine, and phenomenal mattresses. Slept incredibly well. GREAT hot tub and fire pit. Very close to the boat launch. So appreciated access to the kayaks and all the hiking recommendations.

We had a fabulous time! Can't wait to come back. Was equally perfect for two toddlers as it was for four adults! Beautiful property, amazing hot tub, comfortable beds, great kitchen... everything was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay. The setting was serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, was cozy, and we especially enjoyed spending time by the fireplace. It was the ideal spot to unwind over a long weekend. We would absolutely stay here again!

A wonderful spot and wonderful host. Everything was cheery and thoughtfully done. I knocked off a star for the price mostly because I wasn't anticipating how expensive it is to get around by Uber in the area, and to find an accessible grocery store - otherwise necessary to have a car. Ended up ordering UberEats... my mom was at another Airbnb down the road and the difference in how we were treated as guests was astronomical. Marina did not charge me for having my little dog, there was a little firewood for us to use, fresh coffee and tea, and all the amenities! Marina was also very responsive and kind, and left a very helpful note about whether the beach is public or not. 100% recommend. In contrast, my mom felt badly treated by the host, the place was poorly kept and she felt it was way overpriced in comparison to mine (Marina's). Good thing she was able to come here during the day, and we spent most of our time here, in the yard or the short walk to the beach.

Amy and Kevin were absolutely wonderful! It was so nice to get out of the city and stay in such a beautiful cabin. It has a rustic feel while having all of the amenities and conveniences that you are looking for. Amy and Kevin are also such wonderful people they made sure that the trip was easy and fun and responded immediately anytime I had a question. The area was private but also close to a bunch of great restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Great relaxing and private location. Very home feeling and just right for a great weekend. Joe was amazing at responding and helpful. Would love to comeback and stay another weekend.
