The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, and outdoor seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating . Dogs are subject to an additional £25 per stay. Maximum one fully house trained well behaved adult dog by prior permission from owners.

Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

Haven Cottage is a self contained detached 2 bed stone cottage in rural Cotherstone near Barnard Castle. You have exclusive use. Set on a quiet lane, the converted stable overlooks open meadows. Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

Or take a short stroll into Barnard Castle to discover its rich heritage and enjoy the warm hospitality of its many cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Set on two floors, the ground floor has an excellent, bright, spacious living room with the original cast iron range and a magnificent kitchen with an American sized fridge, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The lower floor has 3 bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and a unique glazed wall, which provides views into the drive room , which features cog wheels and pulleys. Plus a Games room.

Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

Jessie's Hut
Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

A charming cosy cottage, set in the heart of the village a stones throw from the village shop, pub and takeaway. The cottage can comfortably accommodate a family of four in one king bedroom (with freestanding roll top bath) along with a second cosy twin bedroom . There is a shower room and toilet on both floors. To the rear is a sunny enclosed courtyard and terrace. Wonderful walks are on the doorstep along with stunning views. Perfect for your four legged friends too.
