This accommodation was amazing. A very spacious modern lodge. Lots of extra which we did not expect. It was very clean and comfortable. A lovely view and very quiet. Thank you Helen for letting us stay in your beautiful holiday home.

Beautiful, spacious, unique place, with lovely decor and finished with elegance. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. The place suited us perfectly for 9 guests. Exactly as described on the site. We struggled a bit with the amount of people to number of bathrooms, (1 bathroom, plus 1 en-suite) but not really an issue, just a bit of planning. The host, Rose was great, really responsive, approachable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and love to book again.

Great house in a good spot. David and Shruti ‘s communications were very prompt and they were very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house for a larger group - very spacious and cosy with good facilities and parking. Many thanks for the stay

The place was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, easy, had everything you needed and with an amazing view. We would love to go back. Mo was friendly and on hand if needed but it felt private. A lovely space in a lovely place.

La maison de Lyn est superbe, propre, joliment décorée, confortable et, somme toute, très accueillante. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est située pas loin du centre ville. Lyn est une hôte accueillante et attentionnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner et sa gentillesse en général.

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

This house was beautiful with beautiful views and a lovely garden. The house was bigger than I expected which was perfect for what I needed it for. Would highly recommend.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely flat. It was situated in an ideal location for both the Hoe/seafront and the city centre. The flat was well equipped and warm and the parking space was a real bonus. William was attentive , asking us if we had arrived safely and if everything was okay. He responded immediately when we had a minor problem. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

Tracy & Richard's place is very convenient and stocked with all the essentials needed for a weekend getaway or even a longer vacation. It's in a great location with a couple of minutes away from the local pub and a 30 mins walk from Lyme Regis.

Leila's place is just lovely, incredible views across the harbour and out to sea. Leila was super friendly and responsive when we had a problem with the bathroom radiator, getting it sorted same day. The only heads up for us was that the sofabed is listed as available, but after booking and paying it emerged that a substantial amount of extra money is required for sofabed bedding. I would suggest that this is made clear in the listing details. Otherwise, really happy with the stay. thank you Leila.

The apartment was well located and had all amenities. From our arrival to leaving, everything was available within the apartment, which was clean, comfortable and perfect for a long weekend. The area is well located, close to the sea and the nice town on Bidport, with a nice local market on the Saturday morning (worth a walk - around 30 minutes). Travelled to Weymouth but we recommend the 53 bus for the views along the cliff.. amazing and worth the ride just for this view (take the upper level if a double-decker). We'll be back, just for the location and the people. :-)

The apartment is a characterful and beautiful, well equipped, spacious space which felt relaxing and interesting at the same time. It fulfilled our desire to stay in somewhere that wasn't an ordinary, bland, featureless room. It was filled with curiosities and museum pieces whilst also being comfortable and quite lovely. This is our second stay in this lovely apartment. It is perfect for us as it is private and peaceful, yet you can easily walk to the town where there is plenty to see and do, good places to eat and drink. Also lovely walks up and down the river in other directions. Lyme Regis itself has loads to offer in terms of history, literature and plenty to do.

This is a wonderful dog friendly property in a great location for exploring all that Lyme Regis has to offer. Only minutes from the beach and shops. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the garden was especially lovely for sitting in to enjoy the beautiful weather. Mike was very helpful and communicated before we arrived with lots of additional information and recommendations about local attractions and restaurants etc. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Myself and two friends travelled from London and had an absolutely amazing well needed break! The property was absolutely beautiful and the location. We walked to Looe following the recommendations and had an amazingly mindful walk in the natural beauty of Cornwall. We are already planning our next trip back! Rob is a brilliant host, they property was better than the pictures and the communication was excellent

We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

Despite bad weather and a couple of power cuts we had a lovely few days away. The property felt private and not overlooked and was well equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A lovely beach is a short walk away, we also took a short drive into looe for a cuppa and cake. We would definitely stay longer next time.

A beautiful place with lots of space . We went over Easter with 9 adults 2 children and 2 dogs . The property is very spacious and all the bedrooms are a good size . The downstairs games room is huge fun :) The location is excellent with a cable car to get down to the beach and lots of pubs / restaurants very close to the house . Torquay Marina is a 10 minute drive but well worth it . We had fun crabbing at the Marina and a superb roast lunch in Twenty one . Simon and Charlie were excellent hosts and answered any queries very quickly . Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house is incredibly spacious, making it perfect for families or larger groups. There was more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. One of the highlights was the large parking area—plenty of space to comfortably park up to 5 cars, which made things so convenient for us. Inside, the house is well-equipped for families, especially those with kids. There were lots of toys to keep the little ones entertained, which was a huge plus. The dining table is impressively big, allowing everyone to sit together and enjoy meals as a group—something we really appreciated. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generous complimentary breakfast items stocked in the house. It was a thoughtful touch that made our mornings easier and more enjoyable. The outdoor space is just as inviting as the inside. The back garden features a fun trampoline for kids, and a gas barbecue that’s perfect for enjoying meals outside.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

An absolutely unique and beautiful house, set amongst lovely grounds. The Christmas tree in the living room was such a nice touch as was the welcome basket full of goodies. We can thoroughly recommend exploring the woods and beach path behind the property. We loved sitting by the fire reading and hanging out in the cinema room in the evening. Thank you for such a quiet and peaceful stay.

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. And a bit of mystery and a secret.....all I will say is Smugglers' Top
