House was lovely and clean,beds were made up ready which was a god send, tea/coffee on hand quick to respond and very friendly, would definitely visit again and highly recommend

The house is just perfect, spacious and all you could need. We were 2 families and there was plenty of space for adults and children. We has a small problem with the heating, but it was resolved super fast and Christian and Andrea were helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and the AGA is amazing to cook on and keep warm. Would 100% recommend this home and the hosts. Thanks for a fab stay.

Hellen was such a star and her kindness added to the home, welcomine feeling of the house. Ideally located 15 mn from Seaham, in a peaceful streets with two little shops nearby if you need anything… And the house is so well equipped, so comfy. A huge thanks, everything was absolutely perfect!

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

We have just returned from a relaxing stay in Steph’s lovely peaceful house in the gorgeous village of Wylam. The house was perfect for our family of 4. An extra single bed was provided for the kids and they loved the cuddly mice on the bed. We enjoyed the log burner on a cosy night in and playing the board games. The kitchen was perfectly kitted out for cooking and really appreciated the milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate that welcomed us! The village has some relaxing walks, park and pubs! Perfect to get the train into Newcastle too. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Lovely clean and tastefully decorated house, everything there that you could want while away from home. Really well stocked kitchen, so you can make a variety of meals if required. Beds really comfy and the street is very quiet so slept like a log! All the rooms were a really good size, more than enough room for a family of 4. Location was great for our needs (visiting family), the town is within walking distance so really handy. Richard was very responsive to messages and really friendly. All in all a really positive experience and will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, clean accommodation. Comfortable beds. Quiet street in town centre. 10-15 minutes walk from train station . Hosts responded to enquiries promptly and were very helpful.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

Great location, bonus of having a parking permit provided. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location. Immaculate, well designed space well equipped. Lisa & Steve are good hosts who have added lots of nice welcome touches.

Linda’s place was perfect for our family of 4. Close to transport and supermarket. Linda met us in arrival and was very welcoming. The flat has everything we could need and more. Spotlessly clean and warm. Spacious rooms. Would absolutely stay here again!

Neil was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We’re American and always struggle with learning how to turn on the showers and appliances while in Europe. It is very close to the train tracks which we used multiple times during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I do feel the location is a bit hidden, but once you know how to get there, it’s easy. His place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
