We cannot fault our stay here, it did exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet in an amazing location and the animals sealed the deal. Arnie was amazing and took time to explain about all the animals and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be coming back when the animals are roaming. I miss the cats already!!

Had a lovely stay, hosts were helpful and responsive when I needed anything! Clean bathroom, clean bed, cosy space and the projector was a lovely touch!!

We had the best time staying at the vestry. Emma and Ian communicated well before and during our stay. We can be a little nervous travelling with our 5 year old son due to his food allergies however Emma ensured nothing was left that could have caused a potential reaction. The vestry is full of character and the perfect little escape that offered everything we could need. We enjoyed exploring Poynton and found lots of beautiful walks around the area. Lyme park was a favourite of our sons. We also enjoyed trips into Manchester and found the vestry the perfect spot to rest after a busy day. We would have loved to visit in autumn or winter to make use of the log fire but there is always next time 😊

The location was great, loads of excellent walks around in the hills which was exactly what we wanted!

Myself and my cousin had the most enjoyable stay. The hosts Danny & Deborah made us feel really welcome, and were very friendly. The lodge was clean, and tastefully furnished, and set in beautiful grounds, and had everything we needed. We stayed from Thursday 27th March 2025 - Saturday 29th March, and was furtunate enough to be blessed with wall to wall sunshine, so was able to take advantage of the beautiful weather. I had a fantastic stay! The place was lovely, spotless, and had a cozy atmosphere. Michelle was incredibly friendly and always quick to respond, making the whole experience even better. They’re also adding a hot tub soon, which is an exciting bonus! The price is very affordable, making it perfect for a romantic getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!

Everything about this accommodation was magical … from the food left for us, to the comfy beds and the magnificent view across the garden and yonder fields. The tranquility added a magical touch to my morning cuppa sat out on the patio … loved every moment there and highly recommend you book a visit, if you are reading this … you will not be disappointed.

Simply Wow! Stunning place! The hosts thought of absolutely everything to make the stay very comfortable. The attention to details is impressive and the kindness of the hosts is very rare to find! Would give 6 stars if we could.

Kristy’s partner gave us a helpful hand by phone to find them. We’d been walking Offa’s Dyke all day. He was also considerate, apologising for lawn mowing, which didn’t bother us. The Airbnb is absolutely beautiful: tall and airy and appears brand new. Immaculate kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, with outdoor seating. Lovely comfortable bed, beautiful towels and bed linen. Wonderful wildlife visible from the window: rabbits, chaffinches… Just a little noise from passing vehicles at night/ hardly a problem. A perfect stop over for us!

This Airbnb was a delightful find! It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and the host went above and beyond by providing milk and breakfast options. A truly welcoming experience!

I had booked the place as a treat for my parents and I wanted them to feel relaxed. Fiona’s place was extremely relaxing and peaceful. The surroundings were idyllic and serene. Her personal touches made us feel special. Anything you could think of was available in the lodge. The instructions for getting there and check in were simple, straightforward and easy. Fiona was very responsive. I’m truly impressed. Would definitely be staying there again. Thank you Fiona.

Just arrived home from a week at Y Felin, beautiful setting very peaceful but only half an hour or so from places to visit... the jacuzzi was an added bonus! Will definitely return😀

We had a wonderful stay at Amy's place! We especially enjoyed exploring the garden, which had a lovely, almost National Trust-like charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the decor was unique and inviting, and the kitchen was new, well-equipped, and spotless. We would definitely book again when visiting family. The only small downside was that the TV wasn’t a smart TV, and the sofa was a bit on the softer side.

Such a lovely stay, room was beautiful and in a private area. Host was lovely and helpful, would definitely recommend and stay again!

The place and Tom were great. Very clean place, comfy bed, nice kitchen, easy to find and to check in and out. Tom was very helpful and responsive all the time, very kind and polite as well. Although there are more rooms and therefore more guests, it was not an inconvenience, very nice place to stay. 100% recommended!! Thanks again, Tom.

Overall a good place to stay if you are in St Helens, the room was spotless. downside for us - the noise was obvious from the road from early morning but likely because we are not used to it. The only other issue was the communal kitchen was messy, dirty dishes on the side and in the sink, so we didn't use this area.

We had a great two night stay with our dog, a very clean and spacious property with everything we needed. Private with off road parking and conveniently located. Would definitely recommend.
