We really enjoyed staying here. The caravan was lovely, well equipped, clean with hot water and good heating. The site was peaceful and well maintained. The hosts went the extra mile. thank you! Would definitely recommend.

Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

Beautiful stay with a fab host. Super responsive to questions and all communication. Immaculately clean and beautifully finished and styled. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

Such a perfect couple of nights away Both host were super , quick meet and greet and then left us to the peace .. beautiful tiny home super clean , quirky bits and bobs , dressed beautifully and everything you could need :) field of sheep and a show stopper hot tub.. worth every penny Thanks Alex :) Jodie and Tom

Jess was fantastic—great communication throughout. The cabin was amazing, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Everything was clearly explained, making the stay easy and enjoyable. It’s a bit rural and tricky to find, but Jess responded quickly and helpfully. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing place, great hosts. Had a really nice weekend here. Place is in such a nice location there wasn’t any need to go out anywhere. Loved the stay!

Booked for a 2 night stay and was perfect for a very relaxing time. Very easy to find in a beautiful little village. The instructions for getting in was perfect and great parking close to the lodge. The lodge was very clean and simple inside perfect for what we wanted. lots of room inside for the two of us and a Newfoundland dog and must say he really enjoyed his stay here also. The lodge is in the grounds of the Greenman pub this is a real bonus as the pub is a beautiful English pub with fantastic food and staff who made us feel really welcome it really is worth eating here and having a chat with the locals just how a pub should be good beer great food and lovely people thank you. 1 great thing about staying here is you step out straight into the countryside with gorgeous walks which me and the dog enjoyed. absolutely beautiful place, beautiful lodge as well. it was my boyfriend and i’s first weekend away together and we definitely picked the right place!! 45mins out from lincoln city so easily doable in a day and close to local shops as well. overall it was 10/10 and would definitely consider returning

What an amazing weekend my friends and I had at Fallow Lodge! It was exactly the getaway we needed. The lodge is set in a stunning location, and the accommodation and facilities were absolutely perfect. Communication with the host was excellent, and the recommendations provided were really helpful. We made the most of the hot tub, enjoyed meals outside on the terrace and picnic table, and relaxed in the cosy lounge and kitchen area. We also took a trip to the nearby town of Stamford for a day out, which we highly recommend. Thank you, Rachel, for being such a fantastic host. We can’t wait to return!

I honestly can’t praise both hosts Amelia and Yogi, the cabin, and location highly enough. Genuinely fabulous hosts, really welcoming, flexible and knowledgeable. Lovely cabin, really well thought out and excellent little touches which are often forgotten, but not here. Perfect location for both walking into Stamford itself, or a short drive from all the area has to offer. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again very soon

We stayed one night at the cabin. It was easy to find, located on a nice peaceful road but within walking distance to a park to walk the dogs and local shops. The cabin was a charming space with all the amenities you could want, tucked away at the bottom of the garden. Comfy bed, nice linen and a quirky little bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Finding the lodge was easy, but only if you use the post code and directions Rebecca sends. If you use your Sat Nav you will never find the lodge. Rebecca responded quickly to messages and although we didn't meet, I felt she was a lovely host. The area is very quiet and great for walking, either with or without dogs. The lodge was comfortable, clean and a good base for the Derbyshire dales. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Rebecca x.

Brilliant amenities in the cabin, felt very spacious! Loved the rewilding, enjoyed the woodland walk and watching the trains (not noisy, don’t worry!). We can recommend Belton House, walk between Woolthorpe and Belvoir Castle and Mannakin Hall! Hope to stay here again : )

We had a lovely time, even in winter when the rain was pouring! It's cosy and clean, close to Rutland water if you want to visit. I'm originally from Rutland and we were visiting family, it's a short journey to Oakham, Uppingham, Rutland water, close to amenities. It was great to have the dog with us and our 5-year-old. We will be booking again!

Great little getaway in a lovely park-like location on a beautiful lake. If you like watersports, this is the place for you! (We were in the area to visit family, so we didn’t partake in any water sports). Very well appointed lodge with everything you need. A couple minor issues (eg. couldn’t find a remote) were dealt with quickly. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway or family vacation.

Emyr is fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. The whole area is so beautiful with lovely walks around the corner of Emyr's guesthouse. the caravan was spotless clean and equipped in everything u need and even more e.g. toiletries, towels and basic food basket on arrival. Beds were comfortable and the electric radiators helped to keep warm as the British weather can surprise. we feel very safe and our dog love the fields. the caravans are set up in good distance to each other so privacy is guaranteed. TV and WiFi was very useful when relaxing after miles long walk in the forests.

Sunning location by the side of a small lake. Sunsets were stunning. Lodge is very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Bed is super comfortable with luxury bed linens. The shower is huge and excellent. Lots to do in the local area. Mini Meadows petting farm is very close and was very much enjoyed by our 3 year old granddaughter. Loads of pubs within a few minutes drive and the lovely market town of Market Harborough has lots of lovely shops and some great eating places. And every supermarket you can think of!

Great little spot, sad not to be able to swim in the lake but enjoyed the view from the hot tub all the same. The beautiful lodge is 25-35 mins from Stamford where there are lots of lovely restaurants and shops and Rutland Water where we hired bikes for the day and cycled the 17 mile circuit. Stamford also has a Cook, so great and convenient if you are eating in. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but some lovely walks around the lake.
