I had an amazing stay, the neighbourhood was so quiet and safe! Considering the time I got in from my outing. The place was exactly as described, clean, cozy and well equipped. The location is well placed, making it easy to explore the area and everything you'll need is literally walking distance away. They kindly put a welcome guide in their property which can help you with transport, activities or even restaurants which you don't normally see. The hosts went that extra mile so I thought it was quite thoughtful and helpful. I will definitely be rebooking during the summer to see the amazing views as this was a quick last minute trip.

What an incredible place!! There was lots of really interesting information available about the location - the only national reserve where you can stay the night! The hut was very cosy, and the fireplace kept us very warm. It was quite easy to use the kitchen, just keep your meals simple. We were treated kindly and inclusively. I would recommend this to anyone!

It was lovely little place to stay and. Very close to the seafront and also to the town centre. Had shops close by. It was a lovely stay there and will definitely be booking again.

Jason’s place was wonderful for our little family and super close to old town and new town. Sara’s was great for brunch Sunday morning and the Library playground and library were great for my little one on Saturday.

what a great quirky place, when you enter into the kitchen/breakfast area it looks compact but upstairs feels a lot bigger. would definitely return if coming back to Southend.

We had a short but wonderful stay, during the half term break. There was so much to do in the local area for the kids, with a good park just at the end of the road as well. We always drove, and the town centre was less than five mins away. Same as the beachfront with all the amusements, restaurants, and Adventure Island which was perfect for the kids. The house itself was very good, with parking. Very spacious with lounge, dining area, and a beautiful kitchen. I also managed to get some work done in the "study area" too. All round a good stay.

Love Old Leigh. Needed somewhere while visiting family locally and where better. Somehow managed to never see the tide in. Parking was good considering how busy the area is.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Minster-on-Sea. The home was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. What truly stood out was how thoughtfully it was designed with accessibility in mind -everything was easily accessible for those with mobility issues, which made a big difference for our group. The people I was caring for really enjoyed their time there - it was smiles all round, which meant the world to me. It's refreshing to find a place that combines style, comfort, and practicality so well. I'm so glad we found this gem and would absolutely recommend it to others. I'll definitely be returning!

we had a lovely stay at Rosemary's Retreat. Very comfortable and quiet, away from main road. There was plenty of tea and coffee, including a coffee machine with Tassino pods. Rosemary was very welcoming, a first class host. we would definitely stay here again

It’s a beautiful 4-bedroom house which sleeps 10. It has a very large airing dining room at the front and large, but cosy, panelled sitting room at the back with fully working hearth with logs provided. Large bathroom with walk-in shower and free standing bath. Just walk down the steps through the gardens opposite to catch the train to Southend. We had 3 cars and parked the 3rd free 30 seconds away. There’s a few little DIY jobs that need addressing but it does didn’t deter from our stay in this beautiful house.

Wow! it's the easiest way to describe our whole stay. The apartment was fantastic, from the moment you stepped in, it felt like home. A place to unwind and relax. Everything is placed in such a lovely way that it feels like you put it there yourself it genuinely felt like our own home. The view from the balcony was incredible. Being able to sit there and drink a coffee looking out over the ocean was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again for another get away!! Thank you to Mark and Maxine for hosting such a fabulous apartment!

We had a fantastic family stay at 3A Seaforth Road in Southend. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was great having a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room for the kid to play and unwind. The location is ideal – close to the beach, parks, and local shops, but still peaceful and quiet at night. Parking was easy, and the host was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back for another family break and highly recommend it to other families visiting the area!

Very cozy singe bed studio.. all necessary amenities were provided and we have enjoyed our stay.. very close to the waters and our work in Greenhithe. Highly recommended!

Samantha’s Penthouse apartment was exactly as described and so much more. So airy and spacious and decorated so lovely and thoughtful. Had me looking where things came from to get for my own home. Communication was perfect, also checked in with us to see everything was ok and checked in smoothly. Location was just enough out of Southend to have a good 20 min walk to the pier. Recommend the train on there as well. Toby Carvery was 2 min walk and easy food for a night out. Also the chip shop 5 mins walk was really nice too. Overall such a lovely stay and shall be returning as some point. Thank you ☺️

I recently stayed at this apartment and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was spotless—very clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the stunning view, which made every morning and evening feel special. The location is perfect—convenient, safe, and close to everything you might need. What really stood out to me was how helpful and responsive the host was. Anytime I called, he answered immediately and was always available, no matter the time.
