Wir haben vier Tage in der Villa Sõmar verbracht und sind vollkommen zufrieden. Die Villa ist geräumig, sehr sauber und genau wie in der Beschreibung. Morgens gibt’s ein leckeres Frühstück von zwei sehr lieben Angestellten serviert. Die sri lankanischen Bananen Pancakes sind sehr zu empfehlen. Desweiteren bekommt man vor der Anreise eine sehr ausführliche Nachricht in welcher unter anderem viele Restaurant Empfehlungen, Strände in der Nähe und sogar Nummern von zwei Tuk tuk Fahrern stehen. Die Lage ist in Ordnung und man kann alles mit dem tuk tuk oder einem Roller erreichen. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wow just wow! From the moment we made contact with Eranga we were so well looked after. Even before we got to the wonderful house we were had our transport organised to take our family of 5 from Colombo Airport to the AirBNB we were then helped with settling in and greeted with coconuts. Whether it was hire cars, recommendations for activities such as releasing baby turtles into the ocean Eranga was our guy! The house itself has everything you need and is spacious clean and tidy thanks to daily visits from lovely helpers around the house and garden. Air Conditioning is amazing and works really well. The ocean is steps away from the house which is situated in a surfers area. Make sure you visit the Sandbank restaurant for well priced food, music and Thursday night ping pong tournament. Peacocks running in the garden and the friendliest dog ever. We loved this place and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our Sri Lanka trip so memorable. Just amazing!

The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

Das Haus und alle Mitarbeiter sind einfach ein Traum! Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) haben uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt – alle waren so herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist in Wirklichkeit sogar noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos! Wir haben viel Zeit in dem Pool und auf der riesigen überdachten Terrasse verbracht. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit und möchten uns von Herzen bedanken!

Pavithri and Rajitha are absolutely amazing hosts! They took very good care of us. Always available to help and made us so much comfortable. Pavithri cooks amazing food and also invited us for dinner with authentic Srilankan meal. It felt like we are a family. Rajitha was always available to drop us whenever needed. I have to admit they were the best host we had so far :). Highly recommend staying here.

We were so lucky to discover the Coconut Cottage as our first place to stay in Sri Lanka! Andy was an incredible host, booking us transfers from the airport, meeting us at the house on arrival, sharing a wealth of local knowledge and was super friendly and responsive during our stay. The house is only a two minute walk from the beach, cafes and restaurants of Hiri and very clean and stylish – and we all (family of four) loved the pool and back garden (and watching the monkeys swing around in the trees!). Thank you Andy and Sachira for a fab stay! Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely 3-week stay at Villa-64 Weligama. The house is comfortable, with a working AC and washing machine, and is located in a quiet local neighborhood - away from the hustle and bustle of Weligama town, yet just a short walk or bike ride to the beach and surf spots. There are local eateries and shops close by, and the community is very friendly. Chamara was a great host - responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly addressing any issues (like replacing the blender and upgrading the internet speed). The outdoor seating areas are a highlight, with birds, monkeys, and even the occasional mongoose passing by. One thing to note: the kitchen area can get quite hot during the day and doesn’t have cooling. Also, the host’s mother lives in the same building (with a separate entrance) - she’s very kind, and we didn’t mind at all, but it’s good to be aware. We rented bicycles to get around more easily and really enjoyed the peace and space the property offered. Thanks again!

What can I say, but.....wow! we had 5 kids and 4 adults on our holiday and this house could not have been more perfect. The amazing breakfasts every morning, teh huge pool, teh cleaning service done beautifully each day. wow. wow. wow. loved it all. Thank you!

Wir waren zu fünf Personen dort und haben zwei Nächte in der sehr schönen Villa in direkter Nähe zu den Stränden von Hiriketiya verbracht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit vom Team empfangen und Alles war perfekt hergerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist in sehr gutem Zustand: Bäder, Wasser, Ventilatoren, Klimaanlage, WiFi, Küchengeräte haben alle einwandfrei funktioniert. Wir konnten endlich unsere Sachen waschen und nach vielen Tagen Rundreise entspannen. Sehr zu empfehlen, den Preis wert und sehr netter Kontakt zu Vermieter, Manager und Team!

Our stay at the Soulhouse was incredibly wonderful. We had an unforgettable time. Elspeth is an excellent hostess. She looked after our well-being at all times and fulfilled our wishes to the best of her ability (eg. Pilates with Rosie :)) The staff in the house was also very obliging and looked after us very well. The breakfast was extensive and we were able to decide on a daily basis with the cook. We also requested a large BBQ, which was a complete success. The prawns, crabs and fish were of the best quality and bought directly from the market. Great importance is attached to the ambience, the furnishings and the cleanliness. The house is in the forest and on one side you look out over a large field. We saw countless animals. However, you need a car to visit the village or the beach, as the house is a little out of the way. This was not a problem for us. We really enjoyed the vibe. We all felt very comfortable and would come back in a heartbeat.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

An amazing stay - as a group of 10 girls we always felt safe and like it was our home (we wish it was), the staff are incredible - some of the most kind, friendly, caring and thoughtful people we have ever met. The villa was clean, comfortable and exceeded all our expectations. Upon arrival our jaws were on the floor with how amazing the property is - we never wanted to leave. The house had lots of difference spaces so we could all come together but also have some peace and quiet if we wished. We enjoyed the home cooked meals on multiple occasions and it was absolutely divine. The staff also went above and beyond if we ever had requests such as picking stuff up if we needed and providing recommendations for sightseeing and activities in Sri Lanka. We all agree we would love to come back and will cherish these memories forever.

We stayed in Hiriketiya for a few days in early April and had an amazing time in the area. Siri the housekeeper really made our stay, he was amazing helping us with any house questions we had as well as giving us recommendations in the area and telling us fun facts about Hiriketiya.

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

This is one of the best villas we’ve ever stayed in - it’s beautifully designed, has an incredible view and is very private and the staff are fantastic. It was the best food we’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, thank you! 🙏

Our stay was wonderful! We went for a short vacation for my birthday. Me and my friends had a great time here. The property was so calming and peaceful. The place was more than true to the photos. It was beautiful to the naked eye. A highlight of our trip is that the staff were so kind and service was excellent. We definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a getaway and wants to be immersed in nature.

I have written so many reviews in the past 8 months having travelled the world with my family. Papaya pad is totally fantastic, it is a lovely villa, perfect for family. A super comfortable place to relax inside or out next to the pool. The location is brilliant just a minute walk to the beautiful Weligama beach. Weligama has everything you need surf schools, beach bars, and shops all within walking distance and a really good laundry just round the corner too. Moochies restaurant is too good for words, food incredible and healthy...staff lovely, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning and if you are looking for perfect accommodation. look no further. Thank you 😊

Very difficult to put into words how wonderful the villa is. Very easy to find, great welcome, kitchen well stocked. 3 big bedrooms; 2 with outside showers. The housekeepers really make the stay. They prepare breakfast each morning to be eaten outside by the pool. They will also cook dinner if required, which, frankly was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The pool is lovely and in shade. In fact I’d say the property and experience is better than described. 10 mins by the gardeners tuk tuk to Mirissa Beach and restaurants. Thank you!

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x

Overall we had a great experience, was there for my bachelorette and the staff really put up with us. Only complaints- a few of the lights and fans were not working and were not fixed. We were definitely given tap water, one of the can was filled with tap water, I’m assuming they ran out of water in the night and one of the staff had no choice but to serve us that. Would still give the stay a 5 star review was the host was kind enough to help with local recommendations and the staff was there to help whenever asked.

Wil je gegarandeerd de beste plek van de regio? Dan is deze plek voor jou. De ligging is werkelijk geweldig. Alles is op loopafstand maar toch helemaal privé gelegen. We verbleven met 4 kleine kinderen en 4 volwassenen. Heerlijke tijd gehad. Jude de gastheer was geweldig. Ook heeft hij (maar vooral zijn vrouw) heerlijk voor ons gekookt.

House is simply beautiful, very well decorated and you can see that the host really cares. Rooms are lovley, best sleep on Sri Lanka. There were all the ameneties as described in listing. Short tuktuk ride to the Weligama beach and fish market. Short walk to Jungle beach. Plenty of shops nearby. Don also owns a small cafe which has great cakes. Upon our arrival he greeted za with some tea and treats which were amazing. Comunication with Don is impecable. Always responds very quickly and he really cares. Small pool in the garden was great to freshen up and chill, for our child it was amazing and perfect size. We really had a great stay there. I recommend this Villa, just wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The space is exactly as pictured – clean, serene, and thoughtfully designed. The two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the private pool was absolutely perfect for relaxing throughout the day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hospitality. The owners were so kind and welcoming – from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home and were always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. The caretaker was also lovely and made sure everything was running smoothly throughout our stay. The location is ideal – tucked away in a peaceful spot, but still very close to everything. Mirissa Beach is just under 5 km away, and Madiha surf point is even closer (less than 2 km). There are also plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets nearby, which made everything super convenient. Overall, this villa was a little slice of paradise. Whether you're looking to explore the south coast.
