We had a great stay. The house is exactly as described - charming, a bit rustic, comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic. We walked into the lower town for dinner, did a longer hike right from the house, and walked to the nearby excellent bakery for breakfast each morning. As some reviewers have noted, the stairs are narrow and steep and require some care. Our dog wouldn’t use them, and we had our five-year-old scooch down slowly on her butt.

We had a wonderful trip to Frederick at Kelly’s home. A fenced in yard is rare for an Airbnb and our dog enjoyed it thoroughly. In addition the neighborhood is very walkable to Baker Park and to downtown which was great. Pristine hot tub.

My family of 4 plus our 2 fur babies had the best time at Julie’s home. The house is beautiful and unique with all the original remnants of wood and brick. It’s clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. The pictures don’t do this house justice, honestly. The property is very private. We hardly saw any neighbors. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer, hot tub, couches outside, bathrobes, etc. we appreciated the tea, chocolate, wine and flowers left for us, too. Such a pleasant surprise, really! There are plenty of things to do around in the area. We had a great time. Thank you, Julie, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home with our entire family.

This is our second time staying at Mary’s place and we will definitely be booking again. Great affordable dog friendly spot conveniently located between my home state of NJ and my new home in NC. Everything is as pictured and Mary is a lovely host.

I stayed here for a work trip and so I didn’t get to enjoy the place much, but it was extremely charming and exactly what we needed. It had everything anybody could need. The beds were very comfortable! We felt safe as two women staying alone. Would visit again!!

David’s place was exactly as described and what the photos displayed it to be. It was perfect for our group and our weekend. Check in was easy. Parking was easy, all of our cars fit in the driveway. David was responsive and friendly. We had no issues and a great time.

Incredibly peaceful setting within 10 minutes of the C&O Canal towpath and all the charm shepherdstown has to offer. Extremely well stocked kitchen and the new hot tub after a long hike overlooking farm fields was like an elixir for the soul. We will always stay with Dave when in Shepherdstown!

My friend and I absolutely loved staying at Matt and Sarah’s for the weekend! We had a great time exploring and felt very comfortable at the house when we were done for the day. Beautiful little home with all you could need, and they were so friendly!

Connor’s place was nice! We had a small girls trip for 2 nights. There is plenty of room and a nice back porch and covered outdoor seating! Perfect for a get away to Berkeley Springs or surrounding state parks.

Stayed for a girls reunion long weekend. We were thrilled which how much room we had to spread out. We chose this airbnb for the number of bathrooms which made getting ready super easy. This place is well equipped with mirrors, closets etc. the kitchen was fully loaded as well, which was great as we cooked/ate there mostly. The heated soaker pool was the perfect way to end our days and we used the firewood for a bonfire. We definitely would stay here again.

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A wonderful house just a short drive to the town bus stop or 5 minutes to town. Beautiful area.

A great find! This is a really cute and cozy place that is just as pictured. It was very clean and had all we needed for a perfect get away. The sports complex amenities are very nice and close by. I would definitely recommend and will likely return for another stay!

Our stay was peaceful. Our first time for my wife and I along with our 15 year old daughter in Woodstock. The home is located around 3 other homes on open cow pasture land, but far enough to be very private. The kitchen was just remodeled and looks very nice along with new appliances. Inside was very clean and beds comfortable with memory foam mattresses. Internet was good enough to stream over TV in home. It was quiet at night, road you're on is private and very limited noise from vehicles on it day or night, although I did not see a speed limit sign so vehicles go any speed along that route. We didn't use the hot tub, pool(off season), grill or firepit(burning ban). We did use the ping pong table in garage and watched the TV in the area attached to it, very nice addition! It turned out very windy during our stay and with that it carried the highway traffic noise downwind which was worse at certain times outside, not inside. Other than that out stay was relaxing, visiting the area.

We really enjoyed staying here for my sister's bachelorette. There were 8 of us, and it was the perfect location for hiking and relaxing. We got dinner at Copper Kettle per the host's recommendation, where it was easy to adjust our reservation. They were also very accommodating to our group of 8. The hosts here were also very responsive to any issues we had. Highly recommend staying here!

Ryam is a very responsive host. The apartment was as described and he was very flexible with the check-in which helped us greatly. The apartment was close to the downtown and all of the Frederick amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all.

Steve and his wife were delightful hosts and reached out to provide everything we needed or could want. We were in town for a national dog show and they were more than welcoming to us with our pets and ourselves. They provided many special touches like treats for us and ourselves pets, tv services, fresh eggs, chocolates and guest toiletries. The home was spotlessly clean and lovingly decorated. The yard was beautiful, spacious, and well-tended. Our stay was everything we hoped for.

Very quiet, easy stay in Woodstock with lots of things within walking distance. Big bathroom, nice kitchen amenities.

Such a find! Sandi's place is peaceful and secluded and yet convenient to Middleburg and Oak Spring. There is so much to do locally, from the antiques stores to hiking to the vineyards and breweries. Sandi was a fabulous host - proactive and responsive - and the cottage is well set up and very comfortable.
