This home was immaculately kept, luxuriously designed, and great for a family with all ages of kids. We had access to all we needed in bathrooms, kitchen, and I especially appreciated the signs on cabinets that explained what was inside. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was luxurious. We loved how much space we had for our family to spread out. The outdoor patio space was beautiful; we enjoyed the fireplace immensely. The neighborhood was beautiful and even our dog enjoyed the house. Thank you for the water bowl! It was a super cute touch! I think the price is a little high when there is no pool access (too cool/still spring) but the location for us was important as we were attending a wedding at Bendix park. Mary was a responsive and wonderful hostess, she reached out to make sure we had what we need and even offered to mail back an item that we left. We appreciate that! As someone who frequents AirBnBs often, I’d call this a gem and worthy of 5 stars!

We had such a blast here! We lucked out and got an amazingly warm and sunny April weekend and we just hung on the beach during the day and played in the pool at night! beds were cozy, area was super quiet. Really loved our stay

Melody is a great host! Above and beyond expectations! All the little things you forget, she had there incase it is needed! Keeps the kids busy between pool and gameroom, did not get to check out creek much, but the grounds are beautiful! Will definitely go back!

Great place, great host, great time! This trip was all around awesome and the host made it very easy and more enjoyable. Definitely will be staying here again.

Host was the best! Their place is very nice and well kept up. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway with a big group, this house is definitely it. The pool was great as well and we enjoyed our weekend stay!

A beautiful home right on the golf course. The amount of space that this home offers is unbelievable. We slept 11 people comfortably (all with their own beds!) I recommend this Host for the value of the home, the stay, and the upstanding communication.

John was a great host. Very accesible and easygoing.

Jan is a great host! He welcomed us after we arrived and even thoughtfully brought lilacs from the property for us to enjoy. We felt right at home and loved the welcome basket, cold water in the fridge and comfortable beds after our long day traveling. We woke up rested in the beautiful surroundings and enjoyed the garden swings with our coffee. We will be back again!

Perfect location! Unobstructed views of Lake Max from the 2 main bedrooms on the first floor and living space. Very close to town and not too far from the academy. I would rent this house again for the location and the views!

The house was in a great, safe, and quiet location near one of the main streets in town and very spacious. We appreciated having four bedrooms but the mattresses were uncomfortable for us, either too soft or too hard. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and the powder room on the main level is tiny. We weren't able to avail ourselves of making meals at the house, but the kitchen and picnic-bench dining table were very large.

The history of this house is 2nd to none! Couldn’t beat that back patio right next to the water. Pontoon rental is a must on this lake. When we had any questions Janet responded very quickly! Great host!

Michael's lake front home was a true gem!! We had a wonderful time as a family and were truly sad to leave. Michael was extremely accommodating and trusting. The house is completely updated and pristine. Plenty of room and completely "tricked out" with amenities. The property is magical. Great yard, swimming, boating and fishing. It is not called "Lake Of The Woods Sunset Shore" by accident. Would love to give it 6 stars!

We can't say enough about our stay. First, the hosts were friendly, responsive, thoughtful and very helpful. The setting was even prettier than the pictures--a quiet and peaceful area close enough to many activities, restaurants, and shops. The house itself was again even better than the pictures. It has a unique layout, history, and decor that was fun in itself. We highly recommend, and hope to visit again next year!

My husband was sent to the area for work. We had to extend our stay a few times and Susan/Mark were always willing to work with us. We were there for almost 6 months. The place was comfortable and although being away from home for an extended period of time isn't easy, this place and the hosts made the stay easier. It's a short walk to the beautiful beach/ lake, Papa's restaurant, The Original Root Beer Stand, the coffee shop and the Lakehouse Grill (which became our favorite place).
