This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. I highly recommend this place—you’ll get an amazing house with convenient access to many attractions.

Ein ganz, ganz wundervoller Ort! Das Haus ist nicht nur wunderschön, sondern auch unglaublich gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet, super sauber und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Es gibt so viel Platz, und trotzdem fühlt es sich richtig kuschelig und heimelig an – man merkt sofort, wie viel Herz hier drin steckt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an total wohlgefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist warm, einladend und genau richtig zum Abschalten. Es war einfach rundum perfekt. Wir wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben und würden jederzeit sofort wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die einen besonderen und zugleich entspannenden Ort suchen!

Cozy 2 bedroom house with spa. Spent a night with my visiting in-laws and it fit us (family of 6 and 2 dogs) comfortably. Spa was a nice add after we spent the day out and about. Peaceful community and walking/biking distance to the lake. Stephanie was very communicative throughout the check-in & check-out process.

Amazing stay. Had a beautiful dinner and the restaurant across the road. Super comfy beds and lovely and clean. Thanks so much made our stay so much better.

Our 3rd visit and another amazing experience! As always the lake house is spotless and beautifully kept. Despite the gloomy wet weather the house is warm and cozy, with comfortable warms beds. The perfect spot for a family getaway. A quick walk to the lake front for a coffee is a great start to the day. A great base for adventures around Taupo 10/10 recommend

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clint was a great and helpful host. We used this place as a base to do the Tongariro Crossing hike. A quick 20 minute drive to the car shuttle parking lot for the hike. Clint also suggested some nice beaches nearby. It was great to have the whole house to ourselves.

The Redwood Retreat is the most amazing place. It offers everything you could wish for. Everything in this house is thoughtful and well-appointed. We felt right at home and enjoyed our holiday there, even when the weather turned nasty for three days. This house offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a day of adventure and activity. Thank you so much for the most beautiful time we had.

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Ruby was a great and was very proactive with instructions. The place was spacious and had great entertainment with the spa, pool, and pool table.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans cette immense maison, idéale pour un séjour en famille . La vue est exceptionnelle, aussi bien depuis l’intérieur que l’extérieur, avec le lac en toile de fond et de nombreux oiseaux à observer. Le calme est total, c’est vraiment reposant. Tout est parfaitement fonctionnel : nous avons testé le jacuzzi, le wifi, la cheminée et le barbecue, tout était top. Annie est très gentille et attentionnée ; elle avait même préparé la cheminée pour que nous puissions en profiter dès notre arrivée. Nous recommandons ce lieu les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui cherchent un cadre paisible et confortable pour se ressourcer.

Loved our stay on Tui! The master bedroom was ginormous and had a lovely light and bright feel to it. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was a quick walk into town and to the markets. Perfect. Would stay again.

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Great location really tidy comfortable beds so much for little money would highly encourage those looking for some amazing accomodation that ticks all the boxes.

Fabulous stay, Melissa and her family went the extra mile to welcome us and farewell us checking that we had enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was everything and more than what we expected. A real treat to have fresh milk and juice in the fridge as well as a grand breakfast selection and range of tea options. The location is idyllic, would highly recommend.

The most caring host I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb, very understanding and kind, this will be the only place I’ll come back to stay at when I’m back with my family in Rotorua, next time my wife will do all the booking ;) lol

Lovely bach. Clean, comfortable, nestled amongst trees. Great space to relax and enjoy family pursuits. Tūrangi is just beautiful in Autumn. And Jeff & Sue were really supportive hosts in assisting with resolving an issue/challenge of our making!

Our stay was perfect. We were delighted to be able to stay at short notice for 2 nights after our booked accommodation wasn’t up to standard when we arrived in Taupo. The communication was great. The house was as described, spotless and fully equipped kitchen. Short walk down to the lake. Thank you we would stay again

Clean, cosy, and spacious! PERFECT spot in Taupo - we will definitely be back. We were in VERY late (2am) and Deborah was accomodating and let us check out late. The fully fenced area allowed us to let the dog out without worrying where he would venture off too. Bed is so comfy as well. 10/10 recommend!!

We loved this place. Great living area for socialising, well equipped kitchen, showers had awesome water pressure, several lovely areas to sit outdoors. Perfect for our family get together with some of us staying onsite and others in the town centre. And later some items we'd left behind were returned to us which we were grateful for.

El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Nueva Zelanda 😍 Todo muy limpio, bonito y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia estupenda. Hay mucho espacio para poder colocar dos maletas grandes sin que molesten, un baño grande y lo mejor es la cocina, con todo tipo de utensilios muy bien cuidados para poder cocinar. Además había muchas opciones para desayunar, todo muy bueno. Pudimos hacer la colada y hay una zona de terraza vallada para el alojamiento, todo muy bonito. Sher y Carty han sido encantadores con nosotros, siempre pendientes de que todo fuese bien, interesándose por nosotros y dándonos recomendaciones. Sin duda un sitio para repetir, hemos salido de allí encantados.
