We loved our stay at this house. Great location right on the lake, beautiful views and the snow made it even better. The house was as described, clean and very comfortable. We skied 2 days at Schuss and this is a convenient location for that. The dogs had plenty of room to roam the house and were comfortable as well! We would definitely stay here again!

I can't say enough good things about the beautiful property. Loved walking the trail in the woods with our dogs. Wish we had more time, but would love to come back and stay in this home again. We had a great time during our stay. The location is great on the lake and the house had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home.

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

It was a great stay, the house is close to the lake, couple of minutes walking, nice and peaceful surroundings. Clean and comfortable.

We loved our stay at "the cabin!" Lots of room and personalized space for those who wanted it. Good bathroom space and really appreciated the laundry and kitchen areas.

Just back from a 3 night stay at Hall's Haven and it was a perfect spot for our two families of 4, ages 7 thru 50! The welcome treats were such a nice added touch and much appreciated. Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out and plenty of toys and games for everyone. Lots of space for ski gear too! We loved having fires and cooking big meals together in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There was SO much snow and every window had a beautiful view of the snowy woods. Quiet, lovely neighborhood near the Lakeview Inn and just 5 minutes to Schuss Village for skiing. The sauna was an added luxury after a day of skiing! We had the best weekend together! Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

We chose this place because of the central location to bigger towns. It is pet friendly which made us very happy. The house is immaculate! All your basic needs as far as kitchen, and bathroom were provided. Set up is perfect for one or two couples, or a small family. It is a little close to the road and at the end of the community it is in, so the noise of vehicles speeding up to leave the area was noticeable. The yard in the back is big enough for your pets to roam. The small gazebo and fire pit are great! Unfortunately our weather didn't permit us to use it but definitely would have if we could. Deb was absolutely fantastic about communicating and answering all questions. Check in was so easy and we enjoyed our time here very much! I would recommend this 10/10!!

Enjoyed our second stay here with the kids and the dogs. The dogs loved all the open space and running through the trails exploring the property. Great place to get away for a few days with plenty of privacy.

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

By far one of our favorite Airbnbs that we have stayed at! Our kids felt right at home and as a mom all of the special touches that went above and beyond not only meant the world, but made the stay fantastic and fun. We would 100% return! Plus, the cinnamon rolls were fantastic!!

Had an amazing stay at the most beautiful home with tons to do!!! Everything was very up to par!!

It felt like the foundation was failing… floor was uneven.. bedroom door shut on it’s own…going in the bathroom felt like you were walking downhill…Drywall was put up without taping the seams or plastering over the nails…poor remodel work.
