Great place and Pataua is magic. Graham's place is terrific and kept meticulously. It was peaceful and well appointed. Very functional and well supplied kitchen and great grill on the lovely deck. We were only able to stay a couple nights but this was a great spot to see Pataua from.

A special tranquil gem with lakeside access! A very private and quiet place to ‘just relax’ and recharge. I had a fantastic nights sleep and sat outside in the morning sun enjoying my breakfast. Chloe the Lab popped by to make sure I was all settled in (beautiful). The place is very well set up, well equipped and so very private and relaxing. Thank you Christa & Hank. One of our best AirBnB experiences! Beautiful location close to the river, friendly hosts, outstanding amenities and facilities and easy access to the town of Waipu and the nearby beaches. We only wish we had stayed longer! Would highly recommend.

Great stay at the Black and White Suites in Matakana. Location lovely and quiet, yet only minutes to the village with access to shops and restaurants. With a car, lots to see and do in the surroundings. Loved Brick Bay Sculpture Walk (amazing native forest) and Sculpturem also really interesting. Property well described; very comfortable bed and sofa for hanging out. Had small fridge and able to make a coffee or have some toast in the room. Would highly recommend for short stays in the village.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Alysn. The apartment was spotless and we had everything we could think of to have a pleasant stay. Well equipped kitchen and lovely beds. Lots of extra things we could borrow like boogie boards, beach tents, cool bag, beach chairs and towels. We felt very welcome and wish we had more time to spend here. We visited Tawharanui regional park and had a wonderful time doing eco walk and enjoying the beach.

We didnt get to meet Sue. Her guest house was what we needed for our one night stay. There is a garage between there home and the guest house, you can here the garage door opening. It was a warm night so i fan in bedroom would have been nice. This does not change my 5 * review. The breakfast supplies where wonderful. It was nice to beable to eat.

This is one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Situated on the coast of some of New Zealand’s best beaches, the property has easy walking access to a small private beach or enjoy Matapouri which is only a very short drive away. The property has every thoughtful amenity you may need which was so helpful if you want to bbq and eat at home. It’s fitted out to a super high standard with comfortable beds, linen and a great shower. It’s immaculately clean, nestled in stunning surroundings. Our host Angela continuously went above and beyond to offer the most outstanding service including fresh tomatoes from the garden and baked birthday muffins for my friend who was celebrating. If that wasn’t enough Angela offers massage therapy from her home which was reasonably priced and out of this world. A truly relaxing place, gorgeous quality and phenomenal host, I hope I can return to enjoy again!

This studio is so handy to Matakana village and it's beautifully presented. Elva was a real pleasure to deal with and made everything really easy. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Our stay at Ruth and Noel’s place was absolutely ideal for our family function. Beautifully clean and peaceful. Very well equipped, generous breakfast provisions and homemade shortbread. Great shower. We will definitely book again and recommend. Christine & Dave.

We had a lovely stay at Maureen’s place, it was the perfect location for a friend’s wedding in the area. The gardens and surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. Maureen even let us add an extra night onto our stay last minute when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled the morning we were due to check out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely amazing break with so many options for dining a close walking distance and we visited a few beautiful beaches each day and the hot spa each afternoon back at Snug . We found the bed very comfortable and give Tom’s place a Very high rating

Luis and Wendy were very easy and pleasant to deal with. There was minimal noise from their home upstairs. Everything was provided. Very enjoyable stay.

Great host and location. Lovely place to stay. Nicely appointed and extra touches of chocolates on the pillow. while totally self contained, it is part of their home so can expect a little noise from upstairs walking but nothing disruptive.

Lovely place in a great location - just across the road from the beach! There’s a cafe and a couple restaurants right next door. Walking distance to Mairangi Bay. Would recommend :)

Beautiful place at Snells beach. Clean, spacious, warm, close to the beach, wonderful water views and the list goes on. It has everything you need to cook your own meals too. Would absolutely return to this place.
