The Stable is a spacious property with everything you need for your stay. The bedroom is upstairs with a large & comfy bed & ensuite bathroom. The lounge area has various board games, books & foosball table to keep children & adults entertained. The kitchen & dining room is large and sunny. There is also a downstairs bathroom and utility room with washing machine. Yvonne was great to communicate with - quick to answer any questions. The fresh milk and scones on arrival was a nice touch. The Stable is well located for walks directly from the property or a short drive to the Forest of Dean. We enjoyed pizza & beer at the tap room at Bespoke Brewery in Littledean, dinner at Post in Newnham (highly recommend) & cider tasting at Severn Cider in Awre. Such a wonderful couple of days attending our daughters wedding. Made even more relaxed by staying at Lizzie place. Fantastic directions and info sent in advance. The Old Barn was such a delightful place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful setting, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, even the little dog came in to say hello as we were leaving🥰 I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Great place has everything you need and was great for families with nice big garden and swings for children to run around in. Jan was a great host and so lovely and warm! Lots of lovely things to do around the area too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jay Barn! While the house is on a busy road, it felt very private once on the property. We stayed over the Easter weekend and were doing lots of baking and cooking - the kitchen had every appliance you could need. The house was spotless, spacious, and we felt at home immediately. A car is essential as there is nothing realistically in walking distance, but pubs a 2 minute drive. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away with family or friends. What a beautiful home and location! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Host and owners on site was excellent, giving local recommendations and freedom to explore the amazing surroundings. House was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

Fantastic place to stay. We visited with our young daughter and dog & we had everything that we needed - hosts simply can’t do enough for you. Fab location as well with loads of places to visit that are only a short drive away.

We stayed in The Barn Too. The location is stunning and the family pets are very friendly. It was lovely waking to the sound of the farm animals. The Barn Too is extremely homely and nicely decorated. We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in the area and could have easily stayed for longer to really appreciate it. Checking in was very easy and directions given to the exact location were very helpful. The owners were very welcoming and happy to help if needed.

Incredible stay! We had the most wonderful time at Folly Farm. The photos really don’t capture just how spacious the barn is or how beautiful and peaceful the surrounding grounds are. Each morning, we woke to the sound of birdsong and woodpeckers tapping away — pure serenity. The barn feels completely private, with no neighbours overlooking which made it all the more relaxing. It’s only a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to Bourton-on-the-Water and is well located for exploring other parts of the Cotswolds. We would absolutely stay again — it’s a real hidden gem. Thank you for making our minimoon so special!

We recently stayed at Emma’s Barn and honestly, it was one of the most relaxing and beautiful experiences we’ve had. The setting is absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a restful escape. The barn itself is immaculate and thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need. As a bit of fun, we decided to play our own version of “Four in a Bed”, determined to find even the smallest fault (especially after Emma confidently told us everything we needed would be there). But the joke was on us – we couldn’t find a single thing wrong! Everything was spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Emma herself was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. It’s rare to find somewhere that delivers on every promise, but this truly was a flawless experience. I cannot recommend Emma’s Barn highly enough. Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

A wonderfully peaceful location with beautiful countryside views. The pictures really don’t reflect how big the property is - so much space! Very much appreciated the high chair, children’s cutlery and books/games. Very family friendly. Would recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. the Stables is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and tidy. It was a lovely calming space to be in. The hot tub was amazing and made our 13 year old very happy. Super spacious bedrooms, fully usable kitchen, comfy sofa - perfect! This was close to many, many places and ideal for families. Easy to book, clear instructions on how to get to and get in the property. We would most definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Charming barn conversion right in the heart of Childrey. Tastefully furnished and well appointed. Mel was a very accommodating host; responding quickly to my questions and providing pro-active advice. And the extended check-out (subject to availability!) was particularly welcome.

We had a brilliant few days away! If you are looking for tranquillity, peace and quiet in an idyllic setting, you will not be disappointed. The Barn overlooked the pond, so we spent some time bird watching as we sat out on the decking during breakfast and in the evening. We stayed in The Barn, there is also The Leat next door, which we would consider, if you wanted to take additional family members. The property had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. This was the perfect location for sightseeing the surrounding area. Natalie, the host, ensured that our stay at The Barn went smoothly before and on arrival with information regarding check-in and check-out. This was a holiday break for my elderly mother-in-law, myself & my wife. We needed everything on one level with separate bedrooms/bathrooms/showers, this property met those needs. Thank you Natalie for an amazing time at this stunning property and for looking after us.

We had a wonderful two night stay with our 18 month old for a wedding at Merriscourt. The house was spotlessly clean and spacious, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Amazing location with the pub across the road, Co op down the road and in particular the green opposite which had a fab play park for our little girl. Carol’s place is very comfortable and luxurious - just as described in the listing. It’s a perfect location within walking distance of all the amenities in the lovely village of Marshfield and close to Bath and Bristol. Highly recommended.

Valerie and Marcus were amazing hosts and made us very welcome. Their place is exquisite and clean & spotless with every amenity catered for. Lovely little touches, like delicious homemade cake and wine on our arrival. We felt at home straight away and we're so comfortable and relaxed we wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights! Very easy to find. Long bumpy farm track but vehicles didn't have any issues. The barn was lovely, private and peaceful with enclosed gardens and hot tub. Very spacious inside with all amenities you would need. The bath was the biggest bath I've ever seen ! Shower and toilet down stairs in a huge utility. Met Lynsey who was superfriendly and very helpful. Booked in at another one of their properties on same site in a few weeks. Lots of places to walk in beautiful surroundings .

It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.
