Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

this property was perfect for our family retreat! it had all sorts of spaces accommodative to both adults and kids - and our dog - from the spacious yard and numerous dining areas to a game room, fire put, movie theater and more. the neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming, and made for some lovely walks in the surrounding nature. lastly, the host was *extremely* responsive both in advance of and during our trip, answering all of our questions, and even arranged for maintenance to retrieve a frisbee that landed on the roof. just a heads up - the bathrooms didn't come stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so make sure to bring that yourself!

Plenty of room to eat and hang out for bigger families. Great basement with games and toys for kids-adults. Well stocked for cooking at home. Comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms very convenient for groups.

Great place by the lake. Close to Chicago for a day trip and great restaurants nearby. The home was well equipped with what we needed and the hot tub was a perfect temperature for the chilly evenings. Zan was a responsive host and we had no issues throughout our stay. The beds and couches were comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again.

My sister and I were visiting family nearby over Christmas and need a place for everyone to stay. Fawn went above and beyond to create the perfect Christmas stay for our family. She communicated frequently and made sure to leave a pack'n'play, child's cot and stroller for the kids, and decorated the place to feel like Christmas. Plenty of space, nice winter views of the river, and a wonderful shower! Would definitely stay again!

Everything was amazing. The Host was very nice and responsive. The house was very clean and spacious, had a nice water view, and was in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Susan was awesome, very friendly and willing to work with you on checkin time also if I needed something. This has been my best experience yet with a BNB, will book again next time I am I. the area. Also easy access to the Toll so to get back to Chicago

nicely furnished space, felt very homey and was easy to relax and enjoy! was exactly what I was looking for for the weekend and very conveniently located in Scales Mound.

Great place near Devil's Head resort! It's less than a 3 minute drive so we were able to easily drive back to rest/eat in the afternoon and then head back to the slopes for a night ski session. The bathrooms and linen are extremely clean; the living spaces are spacious. The dining table/area is smaller but not a big issue - the kitchen has a complete set of cookware and microwave/fridge. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Very nice place to stay. Has a lot of fun games. the hot tub was good. Kitchenette has a hot plate, electric skillet, toaster oven and blender so you can cook simple foods

Host was always responsive. We went for a quick weekend getaway and our place was clean, well stocked, and quite cozy! Hopefully get to go back soon!

Staying with Bente and her husband is so relaxing. We fully enjoyed being outside, surrounded by animals on a peaceful farm. The children spend most of their time in the hay stable: swinging, chatting and petting the cats. The blossoming orchard was very pretty for a small walk. The children already asked when we can go back for another weekend.

Stayed for a night while visiting Roscoe for weekend family activities. Easy to find, great location next to south beloit park and a great price! Tracey was super nice and showed us around when we got there. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing personal retreat. The space was great to veg out and watch TV and also do some activities that I brought with me! It was quiet, comfortable and super close to great shopping and local eateries in Lake Geneva. I would totally stay again!

Will definitely be coming back here every time we are in the area. The cabin felt Like home, with amazing views of their buffalo herd and rolling hills. Pristinely clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

this is my second stay at the 1850 cabin and it was another relaxing experience. It is quiet and scenic and it brings you back in time when you stay in a structure without a bathroom and running water. I love it there and will return..

Molly and Brian’s cabin was super cute and secluded, perfect for a little getaway from the city! Tons of lowkey hiking, architectural hotspots (some great Frank Lloyd-Wright history — including his original gravestone!) and weird tourist traps within driving distance. This area is great for casual birdwatching and the owners even provide binoculars to help! We had a great time and will definitely be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Kristen was very helpful and responsive. The place was very cozy and peaceful. The peacock was a major highlight during the stay!

Omg!!! All I can say, it's well worth it. The place is BEAUTIFUL, Yecenia put so much thought in decorating. You don't need to bring anything, but your change of clothes. Everything you need is there. Yecenia thank you so much, for taking the time and effort to make your guests feel at home. We had a lovely stay here. It was so relaxing to stay in and look over the lake at night. Lots of good restaurants nearby to eat in or takeout and enjoy a quiet, relaxing night. A perfect get away to celebrate any occasion of get some refreshing air.
