This was a great place for our family to stay while we were in town. We are a family of 4 kids so it’s nice when all 6 of us have a bed to sleep in. Katie’s place was very clean and welcoming. She was a great host, very good communication and had some nice recommendations for places to eat. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and the out door patio was a good retreat for some quiet in the evening. If heading to Lynchburg again, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time! The area was great and Bobby made us feel right at home! We would definitely come back again and will recommend this to our friends!

We stayed at Erin's place while visiting our son and W&L. We were able to easily walk to the campus and all our favorite restaurants. The apartment is charming, comfortable and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We've already booked a return stay!

We want to come back! We were driving through Virginia on our way back home to Maryland from our week long vacation in Tennessee but this was our favorite stay and time spent as a family! We were able to leave our dogs at this amazing home and head to the Virginia Safari Park for the BEST time (very close)! It had a nearby playground for the kids also. The place itself was peaceful, super comfy beds, and the aesthetic was beautiful! We loved our time together.

Very eclectic and unique place! Plenty of space and very fun but homey at the same time. I chose this place for the location as it’s in what I would consider the best neighborhood in Lynchburg. Quiet street and walkable.

Came up from Florida to visit a dear friend who lives in the same neighborhood. It was a great great 5 day vacation. We went on the trail at the Thomas Jefferson vacation home. We went horseback riding at Spring Valley Farm. We were on the go all the time!

We had an amazing in Forest! Our group of six adults had more than enough space to spread out and relax, and the home was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Each bedroom felt like its own retreat, and having 3.5 bathrooms was a huge bonus for a group our size. It truly felt like a home away from home, and the peaceful neighborhood made for a relaxing getaway. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, modern, and spacious place to unwind! The hosts were responsive and professional. I will always look to book their properties first when I travel to the area. Top Notch!

Me and my family loved the time we spend there! The kids loved the shower. They have never experienced a shower like that before. The place over all was well worth it and very enjoyable. We will definitely have to come back when we are visiting family again.

The house is really cute! It had everything we needed! The neighborhood is very quiet and it was close to everywhere we needed to go. I also loved that there wasn't a long list of chores before leaving and that we could bring our pup. Great stay!

This was a fantastic place to stay. I loved that all the rooms had at least a full bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and the views were great. There is literally nothing this host could do to make this place better.

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb inside someone’s home and had a great stay! Abigail and her family are great hosts. I loved the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.

This was our second time staying here- and everything was great! We love the quiet setting, the private large yard with the stream down the hill. This home is perfect for a family or two couples as each bedroom on opposite ends of the house has a private bathroom. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, I love to cook and it has everything I need. We love that the location is close to both Smith Mountain Lake and the Peaks of Otter area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. So many options for a nature lover.

Had a great stay for a few nights in this condo. Comfortable and clean as a lovely escape while we enjoyed local hikes and breweries. Convenient to the wintergreen market which was helpful for what we may have forgotten or for anything else we wanted. Looooved having the wood burning fireplace too! We’d love to come back.

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

Cute 1 bedroom condo on top of the mountain at a ski resort. Would deff book again if looking for a place in area.

We loved it. It was clean and it felt like home. I will be back to stay. Michael and his wife were friendly and even left us a treat in the kitchen. I would recommend this home to everyone.

We had a great time. Beautiful location, great views and very comfortable and clean condo. Quiet. Easy parking and walkable surroundings. Jamie was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely recommend it!

Mary’s place was exactly what we needed for our family with small children. The kids loved eating on the deck and being able to sleep in the same room but in their own bed. They had games available and everything was nice and clean. Mary was also quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!
