The house was absolutely beautiful. The morning views from the deck are unbeatable in that area. One of my favorite features of the house is the deep soaking tub. Definitely bring your favorite bath bombs and bubbles if you enjoy a nice soak! I cooked most of my meals and the house had all utensils and cookware I needed. Several people have commented about the steep driveway. I had an SUV, so the steep switch back up the hill wasn't an issue for me, but could be daunting for those with a low car. There are several great coffee shops and restaurants in town that are worth the trip in during your stay. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway and I'd definitely return in a heartbeat.

Absolutely cannot say enough about how amazing this home is! Definitely one of the best our family has ever stayed at…it would be difficult to accurately describe all that is offered! It is beautifully decorated yet extremely comfortable and cozy, everything was clean and fresh, anything you could possibly need is available, our dogs were welcome and it was extremely dog friendly, the outdoor scenery is breathtaking…we loved the hot tub, wood burning stove and cooking in the gourmet kitchen! Michael was such a kind, friendly, helpful and responsive host - with great restaurant recommendations as well! My family and I would love to return for another visit!

Had an amazing experience staying here with beautiful views

We had a wonderful stay at Jean's beautiful home! The location was serene and picturesque, and we really enjoyed the company of the friendly pigs and goats on the property—they added such a fun touch to the experience. The cabin itself was cozy and a much needed, relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, during our stay, the gas went out, which caused a temporary loss of heat and hot water. While this was a bit inconvenient, the host responded quickly and took quick action to resolve the issue and made sure we were satisfied with our stay. Despite this minor setback, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others looking for a peaceful mountain retreat.

We LOVED our stay at Melissa's place. It is a beautiful spot tucked away in the mountains and right next to the new ski place, Hatley Point, only a 3-4 minute drive for us! Melissa was very responsive. The home was so cozy with lots of space. The fireplace was the icing on the cake and we happily huddled around it after a day of skiing.

We absolutely loved our stay here! it is very quiet except for the creek in the distance. Very comfortable beds and clean. We saw lots of wild turkey on the property. We definitely will stay here next time we come. Thank you!

We stayed at Michelle's place for a long wedding weekend with our 3 year old, 5 year old, one set of grandparents, and an Aunt. The house fit us perfectly! It was spacious enough for all, yet still felt cozy. The house also had everything and more that we needed! Michelle was incredibly response to a handful of questions we had about the house and the area. My highlights include: the large bedroom for kids. Two king beds! The lovely covered porch off the kitchen with fire place. The games in the basement. The spacious parking.

Great little stay. We only stayed for one night as a stop before heading home. It was private and spacious for two people, dog, and our small son. The place was clean and the sauna was very relaxing. The neighborhood is very, very quiet. When sitting outside all we could hear were the birds and the creek nearby. There is not a lot in the town as it is small and still recovering from the hurricane. However, we found great places to eat about 25-30 min away in Asheville.

So very happy that our dogs had their own private yard to run around in. They loved walking around the cute downtown area but nice to have a yard of their own (we have always stayed in hotels so this was a treat)! :)

My son and I decided to take a trip to North Carolina for hiking and help bring revenue to the area after the hurricanes. The Airbnb was spotless. Adorable decorated beds were super comfortable. The shower had perfect pressure. The views were breathtaking. The hiking was astonishing. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Comfortable, super clean, couldn’t ask for a better location. Walkable to everything in town. Quick response time from host. Highly recommend.

I can’t begin to say enough wonderful things about our stay! The cottage was exactly as described. The linens were wonderful and the bed was so comfortable. The location is super walkable to downtown. We tried several local restaurants and we were NOT disappointed! Staying at Judy’s was so much nicer than staying inside Asheville. We were close enough to enjoy what Asheville had to offer, but we got the small town charm of Weaverville. Everyone we met was so kind. (A local couple even offered to let us sit with them at the VERY busy local pizzeria!) Our maltipoo, Stella, was happy with the dog treats, dog run, and doggie bedding. We definitely recommend Judy’s place and hope to return.

This is a great place! It is a basement apartment but has its own outside private entrance and incredible deck that faces a natural area. There is little to no noise that we heard from upstairs. I would say this place is best suited for a one person or a couple. My daughter said the bed in the living room isn’t very comfortable- but I was quite comfortable in the bedroom. It has a fully stocked kitchen and nice bathroom. One warning- try to arrive during the daytime. It was very dark at night and the road is narrow and winding and I had some difficulty finding the house after dark. Other than that our stay was great!

I booked my stay pretty late in the evening. The host was responsive and got me in right away. I really enjoyed my time here and I hope to return soon.

Monisha was a wonderful host. I had originally booked a small suite for just myself and when I found I had another person coming, at the last minute, she immediately upgraded us to a larger apartment. And it was lovely! We will definitely stay with her again when we come back.

Nice, quiet, clean apartment that met all of our needs! I felt safe and loved how pretty the area was. I would highly recommend Luciene's place and hope to stay there again!

Great space! Very CLEAN. Beautiful location. Adam was very responsive to questions. Home is private and picturesque yet a short drive to downtown Weaverville and Asheville. The home WiFi uses older encryption (TKIP) but I was able to use my cellphone as a hotspot for school/work. Personal devices connected to the WiFi fine. Both AT&T and Verizon cellular networks have strong signal here. This was minor and did not deter from our enjoyment of the residence or the trip itself. We had a wonderful time, and would return.

Julie’s Haven was stunning. My husband and I went for a much needed weekend away and the view is absolutely jaw dropping as soon as you walk in. It was the perfect amount of space with such thoughtful touches in every corner. Julie has really thought of EVERYTHING! She was so responsive with any question I had or concern. We are already planning next year’s trip up. So gorgeous and restful. We made a hike over to the view point and soaked that in and dreamed of having a view like that one day. Just book it. It is luxury in the mountains!

The property is gorgeous—perched in the mountains with a stunning view and the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. It felt like we were alone on the edge of the world in the most peaceful, private, and serene setting. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Julie had curated every detail with love and intention. The atmosphere was designed to promote relaxation and connection with nature—something we felt in every corner of the space. We also opted for the romance package and it was beyond worth it. Candles lined the path to the outdoor tub, and we were greeted with champagne, wine, and a fresh fruit board. It was elegant, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. Julie has thought of everything. This is a place we plan to return to at least once a year for as long as we live in North Carolina. It’s more than just a stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

Great place for a trip with a group of friends easy 20 minute drive to Hatley Pointe for skiing. The pictures don’t do this place justice it is much larger in person.

Our stay at Marisa's property was simply fantastic! There are a few properties in the area set back in a space that is as quiet and beautiful as this one. The home is prepared as if you live there, and our next visit will not require us to bring many of the items we typically have to carry, especially if you enjoy cooking! Our children spent each day playing outside, fishing, and they certainly didn't want to leave! Marisa, thank you for being so timely in your response and checking in to ensure we had what we needed! Lastly, the home and deck views were fantastic, and there is a significant amount of gathering space in the house! Enjoy your stay. You will not be disappointed!
