Great stay as always. I thinks it’s been 4 years in a row for an annual ice fishing trip. House is great. Can ride the side by side right onto the pond by the launch nearby. Will be rebooking for next year. Perfect for 4-6 people for a weekend.

The cottage was largely as advertised: comfortable and clean, quiet and private, and within easy walking distance of downtown, the university, and the waterfront. It was well stocked with towels, bedding, kitchen equipment, and other basics. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, decent-sized bedrooms, and modern upstairs bathroom. Overall, it's a cosy place, rather than a luxurious one, and that suited us just fine. We'd certainly book it again without hesitation. One suggestion: it would be good to note in the description and photos that the staircase to the second floor is steep, narrow, and has a sharp angle at the top. This is something that visitors with small children and those with even slight balance or mobility problems should be aware of, especially since the only full bathroom is on the second floor.

Perfect Executive Cottage with Waterfront Access! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. The house is spacious and luxurious, with an open-concept layout and amazing high ceilings in the living room that made it feel even more grand and inviting. It was the perfect blend of an upscale executive retreat and a cozy waterfront cottage. The entire place was impeccably clean, with all the amenities we could ask for—everything from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind. The host was extremely thoughtful and accommodating, allowing us full access to all the amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. They were also very responsive, providing toys for the kids and anything else we requested, making sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this property enough! Whether you're looking for a place to work remotely or simply want a relaxing weekend getaway, this home offers the best of both worlds!

Our stay was fantastic. The home is a great size with perfect bedrooms and a great kitchen to cook in. The living room and porch were awesome as well. We loved the dock and the ability to launch our jetskis right across the bay. I will say, prop boats should be fine. Jet boats just be cautious of the seaweed. It didn’t stop the fun though!

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

Jacqueline’s place is warm, comfortable and very clean! She has it set up like you are staying with a treasured friend. She is very thoughtful and makes sure you don’t want for a thing! Would highly recommend if you are staying in Kingston.

Excellent place! Beautiful setting, cozy, quiet and very clean with spectacular views. Perfect location for waterfront walking, downtown shopping and dining. We definitely Italy will be back.

The space was very clean and inviting. Stephanie was very responsive and had tonnes of recommendations for places to see and things to do. We would definitely stay again!

Kristine is a nice host and the place looks exactly as in the photos. The bed is very comfortable and it is best to accommodate a couple. The sofa bed however is not recommend to use for sleeping as its rather small. Besides I found that there were some bed sheets which were not totally dry left in the dryer and probably due to the cleaner not fully aware of. Access to the house is super easy though. All in all, a super host and Cozy place that I would recommend.

We stayed here for 4 months, January to April. Outstanding host, very responsive and supportive regardless of how small the issue or question. Easy and flexible check-in. We had 2 young kids and were able to fit everyone comfortably for a long-term stay. One of the beds was a queen, which was a huge plus for us. Surprising amount of storage space; we were between moves and able to comfortably fit our clothes, kids toys, suitcases, etc. Nice fireplace in the living room, keeps everything warm even on the colder nights. Next to truck yard for plowing and landscaping, but never had any noise problems. Occasionally hear upstairs neighbours, but not disruptively. Street is a dead end, which means very little vehicle traffic and keeps it quiet. Kids in the neighbourhood often playing out in the street together. Straight-forward commuting across the river to the east, can take either Wabaan or Lasalle crossings. All in all, affordable and quiet option, suitable for long-term stays!
