Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

From the first step inside, felt right at home. Fully stocked kitchen and the place was spotless. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Was a bonus having such an amazing view of the mountains and cows. Do yourself a favor and book this location!

We had a fantastic time and would recommend to everyone! It’s a beautiful place, very quiet and really close to the national park.

We had a great stay! Olivia was an excellent host. The place had the perfect vibe for a girls weekend and birthday celebration. The only issue we had was needing to catch 2 wasps that were in the house, but we were able to take care of that without issue. It was so nice to have so many towels and amenities that you don’t normally have in an Airbnb. Thanks again!

I had a wonderful stay at Chris and Sandy’s farm guesthouse. It was very easy to find and exceeded my expectations. They were the best hosts and I would definitely return. I especially loved feeding the donkey, Jasper. Sandy and Chris went out of their way to make it feel like home for us. Thanks again for the Yoder’s icecream recommendation, we loved seeing the free petting zoo.

The Cottage at Lost River Ridge truly lives up to its name as a peaceful retreat in beautiful Wardensville, WV. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host had thought of absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized - everything was labeled, making it incredibly easy to find what we needed. What sets this place apart is the attention to detail - from the well-appointed kitchen with various appliances to the overall peaceful atmosphere that envelops the property. It truly felt like a "home away from home" - but without any of the stress! The location in Wardensville offers beautiful surroundings, and the host was exceptional - responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to providing guests with a five-star experience. If you're looking for a getaway that combines comfort, convenience, and natural beauty, the Cottage at Lost River Ridge is an absolute gem.

Had a lovely weekend in VA at Dollys place, and at a really great price. The house was very charming, though very clearly older, but everything about it was within what I consider normal expectations with an older home out in this area. We really enjoyed spending time in the backyard, which was fenced in and had a charming fire pit and table. Our dogs and kids alike took advantage of the ample room for activities back there! Dolly and her husband were very responsive and easy to reach and talk to. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!

Our family enjoyed our time at Patti’s place. The place is comfortable and easy to navigate. The outdoor seating areas are relaxing and great for star gazing.

Clean & comfortable cabin, great for a weekday away! Great location to some local spots & breweries. Loved the backyard bonus space to enjoy a relaxing night sitting outback with our pup!

This is our second time staying there and we loved it! So close to Orange so we can run into town and get food, come back home and relax. The dog has a fenced space to run around in and even friends (Hillary's pups) on the other side of the fence to run around with :) It is the perfect place for us to unwind, relax, and prepare for our international travels! Thanks Hillary!

Host was very responsive; check-in was easy and area was private and safe; about a 15-20-minute walk to most things in Cville. I appreciate the cleanliness and how responsive Erica was. Thank you! Would definitely stay again.

Susan’s place was full of thoughtful touches like wireless phone chargers, a basket of various charging cables and even some Easter treats and a smores “kit” to use at the fire pit. Perfectly situated for a visit to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. Great hot showers, fluffy towels and comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor deck area for outside dining, with gas grill were appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The cottage/house was as described and wonderful. The location was perfect to explore the many nearby hiking and outdoors options. The property itself has an excellent view. The fenced in yard was convenient for our dog. Inside everything was clean and well-maintained. There were a number of nice touches to make you feel at home. There was everything one would need and more. I needed to work remotely one day and the WiFi was very reliable. Great stay!

Mary Scott and Mark's cottage was a wonderful little getaway. The cottage was quaint and cozy. Check-in instructions were very clear and our hosts were very responsive. It was a great location with beautiful surroundings and had many things to do within a 20-25 min radius. Downtown Charlottesville and Monticello were close by and were great day activities. We also really enjoyed the Glass House Winery which was about 5 min away. Beautiful home, highly recommend!

The pink cottage is nestled in nature, but also in the city. We were able to head toward UVA campus or out toward Ivy with ease. The place is both quirky and quaint - an artistically steeped homebase.

The house was great for our group. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio. It was hot when we were there and the AC worked well. We put in our kayak right from the back yard and enjoyed paddling on the river. It was an easy walk to Main Street and Bridgewater College. We will definitely look to book again if we are back in the Bridgewater area.

WE had a lovely weekend stay at Bret's place. It was a cold, snowy trip but we still took long walks up the road and watched the snow fall with a roaring fire. Bret did a good job reaching out to make sure everything went smoothly. The kitchen is quite small but has everything you need to cook some good meals. Would be a cool place to visit in warmer months with the lovely creek right outside the front door! Do note the water is pretty smelly so you can do everything with it but drink, but there is plenty of drinking water provided.

Our family enjoyed our three night stay at Greg’s charming house to tour colleges. It felt like a home away from home filled with lots of amenities & off street parking. Great location to walk to UVA campus & restaurants. The back yard space was an excellent private studio for my husband to play guitar at night. Greg was a responsive host & answered our questions very quickly. Would recommend staying here.

Kay takes pride in this property and it shows in her attention to detail. It is a lovely place to stay and she personalizes the experience to make you feel welcomed. The home is well decorated and super clean. We loved our stay!

I’d give it 6 stars if I could! Over the top wonderful weekend. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious! The charm of this cozy cottage was perfect. And no over the top rules! Everything made sense. Truly enjoyed our stay. And so many beautiful vineyards in the area!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable, plus close to so many hikes in Shenandoah national park. The hosts really thought of everything, from coffee to cookware and even having the fire pit filled with brush so we could easily have a fire. The location is nestled in the mountainside and is SO quiet, coffee overlooking the mountains and hills with nothing but the sounds of nature was therapeutic. We are already talking about planning our next trip back!

We stayed at Austen and Katie's for only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is beautifully decorated, super clean, and very inviting. Mattresses were comfortable - we all slept very soundly. When we got in after dinner, the cottage was a little chilly so I messaged Austen. He offered to change the settings through his app and then we were good through the night. Austen also offered to let us come back to the cottage after our day at UVA if we wanted to rest before getting on the road. We didn't take him up on this, but really appreciated the offer. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area! Oh, an FYI....it is about a 15-20 minute ride into downtown Charlottesville.

We had a great stay! This is the CLEANEST Airbnb I’ve ever been to. Very beautiful area and scenery, and perfect distance from Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. Valerie was very responsive and helpful when needed. The only suggestion would be to take a car that can handle a somewhat steep and rocky driveway.
