Loved this cabin! Super cozy, clean, and the location was so peaceful. The hosts even had a list of things to do around town, which was such a nice touch. It was the perfect spot to relax and get away for a bit. Would definitely come back!

I've stayed at many cabins in the Hocking Hills area and this was my top favorite. It's tucked away off the road, and this cabin had everything. It's a "newer built" cabin and it shows. The biggest perk is that it's close to many hiking trails and also to wonderful restaurant called Kindred Spirits.

The cabin was secluded and so peaceful! Everything was as it was described to us! We had everything we needed to stay! Would definitely book this cabin again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the stayed at this cozy cabin last night before heading home from school for the summer. It was everything we hoped for and more! The place was spotless, had very organized institutions, and a beautiful ambiance. Lori even provided complementary waters, coffee, and chocolates. The place comes with everything one would need for a stay in hocking hills: A scenic fireplace, a hot tub, and a grill on the patio. We were disappointed that we were only able to stay one night, but will definitely be revisiting when we’re back in the area!

The cabin is a comfortable place to stay in. The area was peaceful and not too far from city amenities.

Place was clean and in a quiet area. Perfect for that weekend getaway. Lots of hiking close by and beautiful scenery right outside the front doors of the place! Place was also stocked well for us and had everything we needed to make the weekend enjoyable!

Me and the hubby stayed for two nights for our 10th anniversary weekend and it was amazing. Peaceful, quiet, clean, and a great place to unplug and unwind but still close to town for necessities and restaurants and close to Hocking Hills for all the nature hikes you could want. The bed was comfortable, even for someone like me who has sciatica and has to be picky about it. I spent most of my time on the porch swing drinking coffee/hot chocolate (I totally need one of those in my life) and the hot tub. Dave and Carol were so nice and super helpful, and answered every question I had even when I was annoying lol. We would definitely stay again.

I can't say enough about how much we loved Paula's beautiful cabin. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. The perfect creek running down the side of the cabin was a pleasant surprise! Our 2 kids (5 & 2 years old) absolutely loved finding worms and salamanders and cool rocks. It was shallow and safe for them to walk around. We spent so much time in the creek and hot tub and even caught 2 blue gill in the pond! We stopped by Old Man's Cave on the way in and took a day trip to Athens. There's not a lot to see or do in McArthur, which was OK with us, and if you're just looking for a fun cabin to hang out in too - this is the place! Also, we've stayed in many Air BNBs and this isn't always the case, so I want to mention that we were grateful for nice, clean pots and pans and the selection of kitchen utensils- haha! Thanks, Paula! We hope to come back next Spring Break!

We were celebrating our friend getting married and Andrew’s cabin was the perfect place to spend it! We had plenty to do with lots of room to roam and relax while having open access to the lake and trails. Very friendly service, gave us space but was always willing to reach out! We even got to say to the family who would stop by and refill the firewood. Great stay!

Great, Private place. Beautiful surroundings and a nice porch to enjoy the view. The home is very nice. The wifi worked really good. When the propane ran out during our stay, they were fast to resolve the issue. Without a doubt, would sstay again

Very tidy, lovely spot, with a great view of the Ohio river. Rebecca was quick to respond, and every thing we needed for our stay was prepared prior to our arrival. The breakfast was delicious, and served on-time. (I’d particularly recommend the veggie lover omelette). A great spot, I’d definitely recommend!!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We had such a wonderful experience, and Margot & John are the most lovely, welcoming & kind people. They were so generous with their time and space, and it was a blessing to get to know them! We learned so much about farm life, and were so grateful for the opportunity to be hands-on with the farm chores. My daughter loved gathering eggs, feeding the chickens & caring for the goats. We loved Tibby the barn cat and Barron the horse. It was so fun watching Jim the border collie (the friendliest dog ever) herd the sheep and goats. The cabin is perfect - cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. The location is so peaceful & quiet with beautiful views of the pastures. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit & admiring the stars was the perfect way to end an evening. Also close to the popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Rockhouse, etc) & 5 minutes from Lake Hope which has beautiful trails. Perfect trip for families. We can’t wait to go back!

Very nice cabin. Very clean and nicely decorated a nice place to stay.

The nut house is true gem nestled within the Shawnee State Forest. Brenda was very responsive and communicative prior to our trip. Once there the space was clean with all the amenities needed. The property itself is gorgeous, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachia's, you are surrounded towering hills and the sounds of songbirds and running streams. I highly recommend booking a stay with Brenda at the Nut House!! I know we will be back soon!

Great place to stay for a weekend in the Hocking Hills area. The Barn was cute and as described - perfect for us as a couple along with our little dog. We would come back again. Thanks!

We had a fabulous stay at David’s cabin. It was super cozy and comfortable. Very clean. The property was peaceful. Just what we needed for a weekend away! 10/10 would recommend!

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend watching March madness basketball. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the house was perfectly clean. The front porch was our favorite place for conversation, coffee, cocktails, and beautiful scenery. The nature preserve across the street was a great place to stretch our legs after our lounging around! We intend to come back.

What an amazing stay! Serpell’s home is an absolute gem. Peaceful, clean, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful amenities. This is a gorgeous home on a serene and relaxing property. We will absolutely be back again to stay at this delightful property.

This cabin is wonderful. We wanted something kid and pet friendly and it’s able to be both without missing a beat on offering a very clean, comfortable setting. It felt so homey inside. It’s well stocked with linens and kitchen needs, has many fun actives (board games, giant connect 4, large jenga, foosball, air hockey, ringer darts), has a large, clean hot tub and plenty of outdoor furniture, a propane grill, and is in a very private location. The WiFi worked great. The beds are very comfortable. The driveway is a serious climb; we drove a Yukon and an F150 and made it up fine but you wouldn’t want to count on parking at the bottom and walking your bags up so follow the hosts instructions on having a proper vehicle. We loved that the hilltop location made it feel more secluded and safe so it’s worth it. Overall exactly as pictured and even more enjoyable than expected. It’s clean, cozy, comfy and family friendly for adults, kids and four legged dog friends!

4 guys on a hunting trip, we stayed for 6 nights. The place matched the description and photos. Spacious, and clean. Very secluded. We would definitely return.

The cabin was comfortable and peaceful with beautiful woodwork and details inside and out. Perfect location for our trip with easy access to Athens and OU, but away from all the hustle and bustle. Hoping to stay again and longer!
