What an amazing find, the villa was spotless and Dimitris was so welcoming bringing gifts of cake and wine. The location was beautiful and we could not have wished for more. The pool area was spacious and we were close to wonderful beaches and restaurants. We would describe this villa as a true gem. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience we feel blessed

I’m not sure where to start. The hosts are beyond incredible and hospitable, they took us to the shops, brought us things when we needed them and asked how we were throught. Tammy and Babis were so wonderful. The place itself is a marvel, you’re surrounded by swathes of raw nature and combine that with the outdoor amenities, you’d wish you were there all day. Such a clean, pristine place. Me and my friends were speechless, by the quality, the hospitality and the experience. I absolutely recommend this place and hope to come again in the future!

This is a fantastic villa! Brand new, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Everything had been thought of, including washing powder, first aid to name a couple. Really beautiful, warm pool and outdoor area. It’s as good as it looks! Lovely peaceful surroundings but within walking distance of the beach and great restaurants. Really great hosts, who were super responsive and helpful, meeting us on arrival, showing us round the villa and then sending on loads of info about local places to see and eat. Cannot rate this highly enough!

We had such a lovely stay at Grace’s. We booked both apartments for a family group, which worked well. The villa is charming with the most beautiful seaviews. We spent a lot of time just watching boats coming and going in the changing light. It has a very homely feel, with plenty of places to sit in comfort. Aircon & mosquito nets were very welcome. Pool is small but enough to cool off in. Grace was very proactive with information prior to arrival, which was helpful and very responsive with any queries. We absolutely loved Kioni, couldn’t get enough of the warm, clear sea. We hired a boat from George a couple of days, and swam in little bays, would thoroughly recommend. Good choice of authentic and fine dining. Would suggest discussing access if important for your group, as it’s not easy for anyone with mobility issues. Steps from parking, and down to the pool and although we were able to walk comfortably to the village, it proved too much for my parents. We would definitely go back.

This villa is a gem! As first time visitors to Kefalonia, this turned out to be the perfect location for our family of 5 (2 adults + 3 teenagers). Peaceful, with gorgeous views from every bedroom and a magnificent pool area, but close enough to Argostoli and other towns to make restaurants, shopping, church, etc doable. Even though it's near the airport, there was no noise and I think we honestly only saw one plane take off. I feel like you do need a car to get around the island. It was a bit difficult to find initially, but we figured it out and our host met us at the villa, which was such a nice touch. The house is amazing, super clean with every amenity you would need (ironing board + iron, hair dryers, washing machine, drying rack, full kitchen, plenty of towels). We even found a bottle of wine, bread and fruit for us on check-in. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat if we're ever lucky enough to return to Kefalonia. It was magic!

Die Villa Vissala ist einfach atemberaubend! Wir hatten in all unseren bisherigen Familienurlauben ohne Übertreibung noch nie eine so bezaubernde und besondere Unterkunft. Sybille und Eckhard waren als Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Die Lage, Art und Ausstattung des Hauses ist vermutlich einzigartig. Vom riesigen Pool, den Terrassen unter Olivenbäumen und den Schlafzimmern aus hat man einen grandiosen Blick über die Insel, das Ionische Meer und das nördlich gelegene Kefalonia. Das allein ist für einen erholsamen Urlaub ausreichend & erfüllend. Im nördlichen Teil der Insel gelegen bietet das Haus aber außerdem die perfekte Lage, um die spektakulären Sehenswürdigkeiten von Zakynthos vom Land oder Wasser aus zu erreichen. Das Haus und der Garten ist sehr geräumig, sauber und liebevoll mit viel Stil und Geschmack eingerichtet - es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist lichtdurchflutet. Wir können die Villa Vissala nur empfehlen!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here, absolutely stunning apartment! The views are incredible, there’s a nice beach close by, and people are friendly. Gerasimos was a lovely host, always quick to respond. Thank you again!

Quando, dopo varie ricerche (pare sull'isola non ci siano pescherie aperte ad agosto), Maria ha fatto arrivare un pescatore a casa per portare del pesce da cucinare sul barbecue, è stato fantastico! Maria sempre pronta e reattiva, una bella persona... di tutto

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Lage der Wohnung mit Blick auf das Meer ist perfekt. Von hier aus kann man sehr gut in alle Richtungen los starten um die wunderschönen Strände zu erkunden. Die Wohnung bietet wirklich alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Terasse bietet auch die Möglichkeit eine Sporteinheit durchzuführen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist eine Yoga Session am Morgen mit Meditation, dazu gibt es vor Ort auch Yogamatten. Die beiden Gastgeber sind absolut herzlich und wir wurden behandelt wie deren Kinder !!! Wir kommen wieder.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Everything we needed was available. A lovely peaceful, private spot just outside the harbour town of Sami. Good walks nearby and the surrounding coastlines are worth an explore

This was our first stay in Ithaka, having previously visited on day trips from Kefalonia. We chose Vathy because of its convenience; many tavernas bars and shopping facilities, and a great base exploring the whole island. Henry's house is one of only a few in Vathy with a pool, but it is also only 5 or 10 minutes drive from several delightful coves and beaches. Being right in the centre of Vathy you feel like part of the community, but the house and gardens are also quite private. In October there is an endless supply of lemons from the garden 🍹. The villa is charming and welcoming. Henry is a very welcoming, responsive, and attentive host.

Beautiful location and beautiful house for our week stay. House is modern and clean and contains absolutely everything you need to be able to eat in. Has a dishwasher, washing machine and towels provided. Host is extremely responsive to messages ensuring that we had everything we needed and arranged things for us if needed, which was lovely. There was a beautiful black cat who often joined us in the lovely garden space and was such a friendly loving cat. The garden space is beautiful and a real sun trap equip with lots of seating and a charcoal bbq. We look forward to returning.

Amazing accomodation overall. The most wonderfull seaview from almost every window. Everything is better than the photos, super clean and spacious, with attention to every bit of detail to make you feel welcomed . The hosts super kind, fast responsive and very helpful. The location is easy to find with some very good instructions. Close to many beautifull beaches and main roads. I highly reccomend this accomodation, its truly a gem on the Island!

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 25. Great communications with our host who met us on arrival and was quick to respond to messages. The apartment was spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Effective heating/air con. The huge bed was comfortable and we slept well, although optional extra bedding would have been appreciated as the nights were quite cool. The pullout sofa bed was also comfortable for our 16yo. The shower is absolutely fabulous. The location is great, just a scenic 10 minute walk into Agia Effimia, or a 15 minute drive down to Sami, with some lovely beaches dotted around. The views from the apartment are stunning and the patio catches the sun through till mid afternoon, so perfect for peaceful relaxation. Recommend and would return.

Wonderful and peaceful place. It was clean and tidy. Zicos was very kind to us, leaving some welcoming fruit and helping with tips for beaches, villages and the necessary hot-spots to enjoy Ithaki. Sunrises and sunsets in the terrace looking at Cefalonia were overwhelming and made us stay at the place more than we thought. We’ll repeat for sure.

Beautiful house in the north of the island, not far from a cute fishermans village with nice reataurants. Ideal for families or just a couple traveling. Many beautiful beaches withing 20-30min of driving we definitely recommend this place for your stay on the island

Our stay at Anthi's place in Kefalonia was nothing short of perfection. Anthi, the host, is an incredible and warm-hearted woman who truly made us feel at home. The property is surrounded by beautiful flowers, and the atmosphere is serene and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of her family, as she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It’s not an exaggeration to say that this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. Everything was flawless, and Anthi's kindness added a personal touch that made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly special and authentic experience in Greece.

We had an amazing stay at Akis & Eleni's property. It was presented exactly as it was in the pictures and perfect for our family vacation. It's a private property, so very peaceful, with an amazing pool, outside area and sun loungers. Just a very short walk out the back of the garden and you are on a lovely (very unique) beach. There is a great beach bar if you turn left, and a short walk around (through the water) some rocky outcrops (or via some steps to avoid the water), a larger selection of beachside bars and restaurants, and water activities. You'll need a car for the supermarket and exploring the rest of the island, but it was the perfect bolthole for us for a week. Akis & Eleni were excellent hosts, and very easy to contact to provide you with the peace of mind you need on a family trip. Would highly recommend this to one family or two!

Πολύ όμορφο και φιλόξενο σπίτι σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, με έξτρα ανέσεις (πλυντήριο πιάτων, πλυντήριο ρούχων) και υπέροχη θέα στη θάλασσα από το σπίτι και από την βεράντα. Ιδανικό για χαλάρωση, σε ήσυχη περιοχή, πολύ κοντά σε υπέροχες παραλίες. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

What can we say other than fantastic. The villa was perfect and had everything we really needed for a family of 5. The outside space was lovely with views out to the sea and mountains which were stunning. There are gorgeous beaches and places to eat well within walking distance. The Villa, located in Spartia is in a great location to tour the island, although we did not have to travel to far to enjoy Kefalonia as there was plenty on our doorstep, which meant we could relax and the kids just loved snorkling and swimming in the calm local waters. Lena was very accomodating and helpful, dealing with any mesaages / queries very quickly and was also able to accomodate us arriving earlier than the usual check in time, which was really helpful after a very early start that day. The housekeeper Sandra was excellent, and also very helpful sharing lots of local knowledge. We would highly recommend and hope to see Lena and Sandra again in the near future.

Pros: This family is filled with the spirit of hospitality. Particularly enjoyed my interactions with George's mom, Pros: Angela. Sweet lady! Brought me a delicious huge slice of homemade spanakopita and fresh eggs. I also brought back some of Papa Andrea's homemade wine. Enjoyed my stay so much that I booked an extra night. Loved the central location, beautiful village tucked in a valley surrounded by mountains. Felt like I got a taste of the real Kefalonia! Cons: Wifi went in and out my entire stay and smart tv did not work. With that being said, I recommend the place and would stay there again. Thank you George and family!

Περάσαμε μια υπέροχη εβδομάδα στην Ιθάκη. Το Olive Grove ήταν ένα πολύ όμορφο σπίτι, με υπέροχη θέα, πολύ κοντά στο Βαθύ και σε πολύ ήσυχο σημείο. Το σπίτι είχε ό,τι χρειαζόταν για μια άνετη διαμονή και ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν ευγενέστατος και πολύ βοηθητικός. Μας υποδέχτηκε ο κ. Κώστας, πατέρας του Jerry, και μας έκανε να νιώσουμε από την αρχή σαν στο σπίτι μας. Μάλιστα, μας είχε στο ψυγείο κρύο νερό, κρασί αλλά και τα βασικά για ένα πρωινό. Το μόνο θέμα που υπάρχει είναι οι πολλές σκάλες από το parking ως το σπίτι, αλλά όλα τα άλλα σε αποζημιώνουν πλήρως! Το νησί υπέροχο! Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα!

Sama kuća je veoma prostrana i dovoljna za 5-6 osoba, pošto je nas bilo 4, bilo je više nego dovoljno mesta za sve. Selo Spartia je mirno i na lokaciji koja je odlična za obilazak svih plaža na južnoj strani ostrva i do velike većine plaža se stiže za manje od 20 minuta. Samo ostrvo ne vredi poseiti ako nemate svoje volzilo jer nećete osestiti punu čar ostrva sa svojim divljim plažama. Kuća je udaljena od glavnog grada tačno deset minuta i lako se stiže. Jedini problem na celom ostrvu su putevi koji su isprepletani i teški za pamćenje. Sam smeštaj vredi plaćenog novca, domaćini su bili dostupni i lokacija je po našem mišljenju odlična. Ostrvo je prelepo i sa najvaćim brojem lepih malih plaža kako lako dostupnih tako teže dostupnih. Na Kefaloniju ćemo se opet vratiti jer se ona može obići i doživeti u potpunosti samo iz tri puta. Svakome preporučujemo da obiđe ovaj raj na zemlji. Hvala domaćinima! Bio je jedan prelep odmor!

Abbiamo soggiornato da Vasilis e Gloria per 5 giorni. Siamo stati benissimo. La casa è meravigliosa, il giardino incantevole, la compagnia degli animali impagabile. Gloria è stata gentilissima sempre. La posizione perfetta per le escursioni nelle spiaggia del nord dell’isola. Consigliatissima davvero
