I traveled into town for a family event, and Polly was very responsive to my messages. The cottage is very cozy with plenty of space to stretch out. It is close to grocery stores and restaurants. If we are ever in need of a place to stay in the future, I would not hesitate to stay again.

I have stayed in many places on Lake Erie. This home has the most beautiful, expansive view I have ever seen. The house is older and has precious charm and eclectic features. The chandiliers are just precious. I will definitely go back. Our host was very responsive.

Great location right across from Lake Erie. Nice walkable neighborhood close to parks. Short drive to many west side suburbs. House was clean and perfect size for a week visiting the area. Host was great, very responsive and check in/out was easy.

Came to town to visit family. This cottage was more than we could imagine. Had everything we could need and beautiful views! So happy they accommodate furry friends too! Makes it even more special. If ever returning I would try to return to Abby’s cottage first! Thank you for sharing your home!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and cozy. We appreciated that the house was stocked with many common forgotten items and had all the comforts of home. It is very close to the lake and the town of Vermillion which is so charming. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area.

We stayed at Sharon’s place all visiting my daughter at Oberlin for her birthday. It was the perfect base to launch from and come back to. Well located near Vermillion town center with nice restaurants and Café. Easy drive to Oberlin College too.

Very cute little bungalow, we stayed there for a last minute getaway. Enjoyed the fire pit area with a bundle of wood. The bottle of wine was nice too. I loved all the dog friendly little things there. coffee bar was very cute! The place was spotless. We are definitely coming back to stay. Hosts were great!

Super-convenient and cozy! Highly recommended for OBIE parents who don't need any frills. The bed is great, good curtains keep the room dark, everything is clean. All the basic basics are there, but there is definitely nothing beyond that - don't expect coffee (except for instant), more than one wine glass (lol), or instant warmth (no central air). I stand by my 5 stars - it's exactly as described, and we travel light and don't expect to have special touches added beyond what's mentioned - so if you want ease of check-in, comfort, and good communication, literally steps from the campus, but don't secretly expect a luxury hotel, this is the place for you.
