If you want an ocean beach you can drive straight south for 20 minutes and reach Smiths Point State Park right on the ocean. The North Fork with its vineyards is a short drive and the Hamptons also only 30 minutes to West Hampton. You can fish, golf, walk among the wooded area and relax in peace. A cozy home in a beach community which is in a central location with easy access to many outdoor activities(private beach access) & local restaurants. The location is also 5 minutes from the Branford Train Station, Stony Creek Brewery, Branford's town center. New Haven the home of Yale University, Yale Hospital and other colleges in the New Haven area are a short drive The house is across the street from Farm River. across the street in opposite direction is a short walk to Johnsons beach.

The Cozy Little Cottage

Charming guest cottage on our property on 1.5 acres in pastoral neighborhood, 7 minutes to Wilton center and 8 to Westport center. The cottage is separate from the main house, connected by a breezeway, above the garage. It is quaint and cozy. High end kitchen appliances include gas range, mini fridge, microwave and mini dishwasher. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a futon couch which folds down. It’s perfect for 1-2 adults, can comfortably fit 3 people if one is a child.

Private hiking trails, fresh eggs, produce from garden, beach gear, Keurig, mini fridge, homemade granola, tea. Fresh eggs, seasonal veg from the garden, and meals (inquire!)

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock.
