This charming cottage exceeded our expectations in every way! The property was immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The interior's fresh, well-maintained condition made us feel instantly at home. The highlight was definitely the convenient beach access - perfect for spontaneous walks and sunset views. We particularly appreciated all the special touches throughout the property that showed real attention to detail. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners while they were tending to the yard, and their warm hospitality added an extra special touch to our stay. Their care for the property is evident in every corner. We've already marked this cottage as a favorite for future visits. It's a true gem that delivers everything you could want in a beach getaway. The amenities were great... my 9 year old daughter had such a great Easter at this home with so much to do. The beach was beautiful and the wildlife interactive! We had others check in around us and they were so friendly. We had privacy and peace we wanted and would absolutely stay again! We hope to soon.

We had a very pleasant stay! The home is just a few short blocks from the Wells Street Beach near the Indiana Dunes National Park. The home was modern and clean, with plenty of amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is also just a few miles from the Portage South Shore rail station, allowing for an easy trip into Chicago. If you're looking for a relaxing stay near the Indiana Dunes, don't hesitate to stay here!

Beautiful location that feels secluded. Pool table and poker table are a great touch, and yhe lake is not heavily populated. The kayaks available were very relaxing on a nice day.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in dem tollem Haus - der Indiana Dunes National Park ist dabei fußläufig zu erreichen! Das Haus hat viele tolle Annehmlichkeiten, wie z.B. ein tolles Außengelände mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten, eine Dampfdusche und auch viele kleinere weitere Extras! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen - vor allen Dingen werden sich Familien sehr gut aufgehoben fühlen. Die Umgebung lädt zu langen Strandspaziergängen ein, die Kommunikation mit Angie war dabei ausgezeichnet. Sie war äußerst hilfsbereit, reagierte immer sehr schnell auf Nachfragen und gab wichtige Tipps!

We had a nice stay here. The cabin is very close to a beach and has a nice view of Lake Michigan. We watched the sunset there one evening. It is also only a short distance to Grand Mere State Park and Silver Beach in St Joseph which I highly recommend. The host was very responsive and friendly. The pictures on the listing are accurate. It is in a nice gated community which felt very safe.

The place is super cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and the area is quiet and peaceful. I felt safe and right at home as I was here for an extended stay! I 100% recommend!

Phenomenal option for vacation!!! Beautiful home thats 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. Lots of things to do for family, including a pool, small lake swimming, fishing, shuttleboard, pool table, ping pong, kayacking, stand-up paddle board, movie room, basketball court and tennis court!!! I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of things. Oh and coffee shop with snacks too on the ground. The homes are beautiful and well-taken care of. Kids told me they want to come back next summer!!! Indiana Sand Dunes is also just a 15 minute drive to the east end of the national park.

We absolutely loved this place and our stay. The lake views were more beautiful than the photos could show, the chalet is comfortable and well-stocked, and there was so much to do in the community that we didn't even scratch the surface. We loved the beach area which wasn't crowded at all, even on Labor Day weekend. We drove in to St. Joseph for dinner and to go to ur favorite shops - super easy drive. The walk to the beach was so short we didn't even take a lunch out there, just popped up to the house whenever we needed a restroom break or a snack. We never needed to contact Ben but got plenty of communication beforehand and the manual in the house provided info of how to text him if we needed to. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment, well stocked with comfortable beds and great views. We really enjoy having the common area too. The room overlooks a wooded area and there were deer walking right past the windows. There is a path outside that leads to a private beach. The property has fire pits, lots of chairs and games. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Also, you can get to all the shops and restaurants in downtown New Buffalo in under 10 minutes. Can’t wait to stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at “the dump”and rate this a 4.8! Photos do not do this place justice, it’s incredibly well maintained and perfectly beach themed with modern touches. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed, including toddler friendly cups, bowls, plates (which was a bonus). Couch, kitchen chairs, pillows and beds were comfortable. Beach area is absolutely incredible, very large and there are shells which our toddler loved collecting. What would make this a 5 star: umbrella or shade structure for the beach when needed (it was super hot during our stay), deep cleaning of all cob webs under and around furniture, filters for coffee machine, dishwasher pods, laundry pods/detergent, luggage stands, hooks everywhere for clothes, bathing suits, towels, etc., filtered water brita or similar. Overall an amazing long weekend spent on the beach, we even added an additional day to our stay and it was super easy. Thank you so much; we will be back!!

My friends and I went for a “game retreat” weekend and it was perfect! We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards since you can get on the water without getting wet (since it was a little cold). There was also such a cute note welcoming us along with fresh flowers and fresh eggs! Really appreciated the personalized touch.

Beautiful place! Off the beaten path but fairly close to activities. Cozy bedding and great amenities. Lake is gorgeous and we had a great time playing games, resting and catching up! Great weekend with sisters!

Family in town for a reunion. We had 7 people and there is plenty of room. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. Home was well stocked, paper towels, bathroom amenities, etc. Grandkids loved the shallow beachfront. I highly recommend.

Rhonda went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome in their home and that we had everything we needed. They left the nicest handwritten note and gift for our arrival. Rhonda let us know all of the check in and out information the day before it was needed. We would definitely stay again. Hopefully when it’s warmer so we can enjoy all of the lake amenities they had to offer.

We would definitely stay here again. Abel’s place was super comfy, close to everything, and very clean. Abel was very responsive and helpful. If you’re looking for beach floats and like items, there is a Dollar General nearby that was cheap and had lots to choose from.

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The home was comfortable and spotless. We'd love to stay here again in the future!
