Victoria’s cottage was a beautiful escape from normal city life. My partner and our dog enjoyed our stay immensely over the early May bank holiday weekend. Victoria is a lovely host and very friendly, she gave us some recommendations for local walks we could take with our dog. This home was one of the best stocked AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. The aga oven kept the whole place a lovely temperature even despite the warm weather. I would love to return again for a longer stay.

We had a dreamy stay at the Ramblers Retreat, what a beautiful place. It was so peaceful to sit out and admire the view, the donkeys ( Holly and Lucy) made it even more special, they were great! All in all, it had everything we needed to relax and unwind!

Absolutely lovely cottage in a lovely location! It was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Kim gave us very clear instructions on how to find the cottage, along with lots of recommendations of things to do! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need for cooking, the only thing we would change would be having salt and pepper shakers rather than sachets. We really enjoyed the different flavoured coffees! We really enjoyed the local area- the local pub is a 3 minute walk away, and we also visited the local shop. We walked along the canal from the village to Crickhowell, which was a very easy and beautiful route! If we had stayed longer we would have made use of the bike hire in the village. The only thing we would have added would have been some board games/card games for when the weather isn’t on side! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come again. Thank you, Kim.

if your reading reviews you must be thinking about booking well just do it the view alone is worth every penny and on top of that you get an immaculate, very clean, modern and comfortable lodge with everything you need to have a comfortable stay we truly made some amazing memories and will definitely return.

We had a lovely little stay and appreciated the ease of everything from check in to a relaxed late checkout on Easter Sunday. There are some little touches like the availability of bath toiletries, kitchen cleaning bits, games, dog items and bowls etc that make a little stay much easier to pack for. The area has a few charming eateries, cafes and pubs and most things are literally seconds walk away from the cottage. Loads of fab walks within a short drive too (thank you for the guide book for inspo!).

The perfect retreat for both of us and our pup. Beautiful scenery & lovely host. We loved using the wood burning stove to cook our meals & our english breaky tastes sooo much better!

What a beautiful house! Lovingly decorated with an artists eye, and a stunning master bedroom. We were so happy with our few days here and would definitely recommend!

We had a very relaxing couple of nights away, very private and secluded. Excellent hot-tub and very cosy hut which was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily stay again.
