This AirBnB is a charming old farmhouse that has been updated with modern conveniences without sacrificing its original character. It is surrounded by lush greenery, along a scenic road. We stayed in the upstairs loft, which is much more spacious than the photo depicts. The king bed was super comfortable and the linens very upscale. The double-sink bathroom was also beautifully refurbished and updated. Wendy, the owner, was there and is a very interesting person and totally accommodating - seemed always concerned for our comfort. We used her downstairs kitchen primarily for morning coffee, and tea, and she joined us on the marvelous outside porch to watch and listen to the birds, bunnies, owls, and more. At night, the loud chirping of crickets and bullfrogs is intoxicating. A great stay.

Blueberry Cottage is truly a gem! John and Catherine were lovely to deal with and very responsive. Their home is in an idyllic setting on a quiet country road surrounded by beautiful grounds. The cottage itself is laid out nicely, furnished tastefully with lots of comfortable places to relax and is spotless. The kitchen is large, very well equipped and easy to cook in. The bathrooms are also very nice. The 2 fireplaces work extremely well, and the bed is very comfy. Having good, seasoned firewood and kindling is a bonus if you plan to make fires while you’re there. We have only positive things to say about this place and recommend it without reservation. In fact, we’re already discussing when we can go back!

Very charming home, exactly as shown. We shared the home with another family for a ski weekend at mohawk (15 minute drive).. The home is so family friendly, has lots of games and even a crib/booster for the kitchen. The two living rooms with TVs are great (one for the kids and one for the adults!) Clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Paul is super responsive and was very flexible on check-in /check-out times. Highly recommend!

Exactly as advertised and met all expectations. This is a cozy, two bedroom cottage on quiet and very private cul-de-sac. Four minutes from the Sharon Country Inn where my family stayed. I didn’t cook but did use the refrigerator & Keurig. Amanda was responsive and provided detailed information regarding location and house quirks. Very reasonable; splitting the cost with my cousin I saved around $700 over what I usually spend on the same four night stay in Sharon. You won’t be disappointed!

Amelia is wonderful and welcoming. Her house sits right next to Mohawk Mountain, so it is convenient for anyone to visit Cornwall and come ski over winter/hike over the summer. Comfortable bed and ample space in the room. The shared bathroom is clean even with multiple guests staying + nice water pressure. Overall, good place to wind down after activities in the area.

Cannot thank Stephen enough for taking care of us after a major mess up. We were able to get in and relax and enjoy. So grateful for all he did for us on a graduation weekend.

We loved staying in this home. The home is lovely and exactly what we were looking for- feeling of space on land, something cozy and stylish. Debra was very responsive. We even had an issue with the heat - which has never happened for her- and she fixed it quickly on a holiday weekend which we appreciated. We will come back again! Highly recommend her place.

This is our second time renting this house and working with Anna and Victoria. They are wonderful and kind hosts and so easy to work with. The entire home was very clean and spotless. We ABSOLUTELY loved our stay and had the perfect girls weekend. The farmhouse is so unique, vintage and spacious. The bathrooms are a women’s dream with the fun designs, lighting and the fun floor tiles. Although we are from Connecticut, we love visiting the Goshen/Litchfield area to get a change of scenery, visit the local winery’s and vineyards in the area and check out downtown Litchfield for lovely dinners and cocktail hours. The book case collection also intrigued us every morning when we were sipping our coffee and looking out the back porch area. We enjoyed the fact that there were tons of board games which we played at least one every night during our stay. We will definitely be booking our next visit and be back to this gorgeous home!

The house accommodated four of us very well. Three bedrooms and two baths worked great for us after a long wet day of cycling. Nice living room, kitchen, and dining room with extra rec room downstairs. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The bedrooms were of good size.

Even though it rained, the spring weekend was beautiful! Henry’s yard provided the perfect place for kids to run around and play, while enjoying the flowers and the thoughtfully cared for garden. We hiked the nearby beautiful waterfall and strolled around the delightful town of Kent (with a great bookstore and nice cafes). Thank you for a memorable, relaxing weekend!

Gianna’s place is amazing, wonderful, squeaky clean. She is responsive, helpful. Her house is beautiful! The view is amazing. The lake view is spectacular. The community is peaceful. Gianna’s taste is exquisite. Everything is so thought through. She even made the most beautiful introductory folder of the house, neighborhoods, restaurants, even police and hospitals information, all printed on a really nice plastic kind of paper and all the info in one folder. I stayed in many vacations home, even some really nice one in some beach vacation towns. None of those would have such thoughtfulness. I can tell that she is truly a proud owner. My family has spent the past few nights there. There are enough for the teens to do- playing soccers, bocce ball, tennis, pickleball, basketball, kayaking… then at night we watch movies, BBQ. We had the most fun time making memories in this amazing house. Neighbors are super friendly too. We absolutely would love to come back! Thank you so much again

Another great stay! Sara has created an extremely comfortable and well-appointed home. Every time we thought of something we wanted or needed it was on a shelf or in a nearby cabinet. Great mattresses and comfy couches too!

Great place, very comfortable, easy to get in and out of Litchfield; very responsive host and all in all good value!

We stayed at the property for a weekend trip. It was great for a quiet relaxing trip with wide open spaces at the property and surrounding area but still close enough to get places. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown Litchfield and about 5 minutes from downtown Washington. The backyard is huge and great if you have dogs. The scenery from the house and along the neighborhood was beautiful. Also was only a 5-10 minute drive to a couple of nature preserves for hiking. The fireplace in the house is functional and was great during the cold winter nights. Marc was also very responsive to any questions we had. There were a few furniture pieces that could use an update but overall, if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful trip located in one of the most beautiful parts of Connecticut we would definitely recommend.

We rented this house as overflow for our Thanksgiving visitors, each of whom felt that the house was ideal for their needs. Lovely, quiet setting. The house was spotless and friendly, easy to move right into. Thanks Lindsey!!

We had such a lovely time in the silo. The bed was super comfy, the view beautiful, and the lodging so unique. Super close to some nice hiking spots. Robert had some really great recommendations! We were joined by many lucky ladybugs. This might not be the place for you if you have a fear of spiders but we appreciated the company and just being in nature with all the amenities of home.

Darilyn and Dermot were exquisite hosts and the space was superb — spotless, thoughtful touches, absolutely everything our family of 4 could need. It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful area with such lovely hosts - hard to imagine not coming back here. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for some peaceful time away. Simply lovely, a wonderful experience all around.

Great house and great host. The place was beautiful -- big kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms (especially in the master bedroom), nice setup outside (jacuzzi and BBQ), etc. Perfect place for a family weekend in Litchfield. Location was perfect -- a 2 minute drive to great coffee, pastries, bread, ice cream, etc. in Bantam. Liz was an excellent host -- very helpful and responsive. We'd love to visit again soon.

Charming farmhouse on a vast property. Anne is a wonderful host, very communicative and easy to deal with. She was kind enough to show our kids around the farm and teach them a bit about ducks. The surrounding area is lovely. All in all this place worked out great for us.

My stay was everything I hoped for! The location to the lake was perfect and the views from the primary bedroom are perfect to wake up to in the morning! I was especially happy with the comfort of the bed, the linens and the pillows! I really enjoyed the fireplace. My stay was a very relaxing getaway, peaceful and rejuvenating!

This house is amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer than a weekend. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely going to try and stay here in the future!

Had such an amazing stay at Jordan and Yanni. The home was incredibly clean and looks even better in person than pictured. The communication was on point and instructions were clear and straight forward! Thank you for being so helpful and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back!

Cannot say enough about this place. My girlfriend and I stayed here for an extended weekend getaway and the running joke at the end of the trip was that I've peaked, I will never beat this. This stunning home has an understated exterior that hides the gorgeous timber-frame architecture inside. The floating bedrooms are incredible looking, the symmetry of the design pleases to no end, and then you venture out and look at the property. We went on an hour long hike and never left the property, and the caretaking of the land is amazing. Highly highly recommended.
