can’t wait to come back in the summer so we can take full advantage of the beautiful creek in the back. the cabin itself was so thoughtfully curated with MCM furniture + decor + it really suited the whole experience. we weren’t familiar with the NW CT area + there’s a lot of cute towns + hiking. we were there for a family event but will definitely come back to enjoy the cabin + area more. thanks william!

We had such a delightful stay here. The photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which we used extensively. When a couple of minor issues with the house popped up, Brian responded immediately. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Super cute interior. Just like the photos. Absolutely pristine, and phenomenal mattresses. Slept incredibly well. GREAT hot tub and fire pit. Very close to the boat launch. So appreciated access to the kayaks and all the hiking recommendations.

the ourtdoor shower was the most healing

Laura and Rashaad were gracious hosts, gave us clear instructions for their beautiful home, and helped us feel welcome with great restaurant recommendations and information about the area. Their home was clean, cozy and spacious - nicer in person than the pictures showed! We had one hiccup with a door being stuck and they even refunded me $100 - unnecessary but very appreciated! We had a wonderful weekend and would 100% return.

“The Shire” is a magical place to stay! It is truly in the middle of the woods. The carpentry in the cabin is intriguing. Cupboards and closets are hidden everywhere. Skylights let you wake up looking at the undersides of treetops and the sky. Michael and Beth are excellent hosts and very good at communicating.

This was our second stay at this location. Our dogs love it here. My partner and I felt right at home. Would recommended this stay for anyone looking to recharge from a busy life. Thanks for a great stay Kara!

Even though it rained, the spring weekend was beautiful! Henry’s yard provided the perfect place for kids to run around and play, while enjoying the flowers and the thoughtfully cared for garden. We hiked the nearby beautiful waterfall and strolled around the delightful town of Kent (with a great bookstore and nice cafes). Thank you for a memorable, relaxing weekend!

Very clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and appointed cabin well off the road with an enclosed area for our dogs so no worries about them running off.

We loved staying at Lucy’s. It’s one of those places that has everything you need, from extra blankets, lots of silverware, to high quality WiFi. And the surrounding area is beautiful.

Great little cottage. Micheal is a great host. Since we live out of state and have relatives in Ct we would definitely go back. Great find

Philips place was unbelievable!! Gorgeous place and so romantic! I will be back a lot more and look forward to it! If you need a place to get away don’t hesitate this is it!! Philip is such a great host you won’t be disappointed!!

Everything was great! Charming house that was ideal with kids for a weekend skiing.

Vincenzo’s place was amazing! We stayed with 2 families and 3 small children and everyone was comfortable and had tons of space. The property was beautiful and there are so many amazing hikes close by. I highly recommend staying here!

Had an absolutely lovely stay at Billy's cabin! We only stayed one night but it was everything we could have hoped for. Being able to take the canoe out on the river was amazing. Even with the road on the other side of the river it was extremely peaceful. We ate out for every meal since town was so close and easy to get to. All we brought with us was some firewood, water, and an air mattress/blankets/pillows. Would definitely stay here again!!

A few of us stayed at Mariana's for a girl's weekend to go to local events- and had a wonderful stay! The apartment was really aesthetic and perfect for a girl's trip, and we loved cooking in the kitchen as she had every appliance we needed, and loved the fireplace. Everything was cozy, well described, and had everything we could have needed! Mariana was friendly and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We'd recommend this for anyone wanting a cozy getaway!

Very unique and beautiful home. We enjoyed the peacefulness and privacy of the location. We had a great time exploring all of the small nearby towns. If you're into nature-based activities, there are a ton of hiking trails and sight-seeing venues. Ana was very proactive in reaching out and made us feel very welcomed, assuring us if there were any issues to reach out. Overall, a fantastic experience!
