Beautiful RUSTIC cabin right beside the lake, super peaceful area with lots to explore. The cabin is filled with lots of neat memorabilia from the old summer camp that used to inhabit the land. We stayed in mid October and it was starting to get pretty chilly (space heater only, building is not insulated) This is one step above glamping so be prepared.

Being at Carole's place was a total pleasure. If I could, I'd spend a lot of time living on a boat, and this was about as close as possible to that experience, only much more comfortable. I loved being able to see all that was going on in the bay - a lobster boat with a happy dog aboard, a kayak - but mostly birds, including a few visits from a couple of Bald Eagles. For anyone who enjoys nature and privacy, this place is heaven.

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

The beach was right there. We played in the water most of the day. Then the beds were very comfortable while going to sleep listening to the waves.

Very comfortable accomendation. Plenty of room both inside and out. Being on the water, with access for a small boat or kayak, is definitly a plus. Structure was built in the 1950's and the owners have retained its charm while updating the amenities. Kitchen was very well equiped and provisioned. I would hope to stay here again (I will bring our kayaks) and recommend this choice to other guests.

Crissy and this beautiful cozy cabin in the woods, are both wonderful! Arrangements couldn’t be easier, lots of recommendations for things to do, but just hanging out in the home is nice too. Great place to unwind.

We had a wonderful time. The privacy and beauty were just perfect. We are a beach family that enjoy quiet time. This more than accomplished that.

We loved our long weekend at Joe’s place. The gorgeous waterfront setting, the history, the utterly peaceful vibe, brilliant starlit night skies, reading by candlelight every night…it was a special experience to be there, and we hope to return. Thank you Joe!!

A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

This charming cottage in a picture-perfect setting will take you back in time to Maine of the 1920’s. You can relax near the water on the dock, sit up on the deck and watch for bald eagles, tuck yourself away in the cozy, sheltered dining area on the porch, or relax by the fire in the living room. We can’t wait to go back!

A charming one-bedroom apartment in this antique family home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. It is located on Main Street in the center of the friendly village, so you can easily walk to everything. The bathroom is shared with one other apartment, but that is not unusual accommodation on Monhegan Island. Remember to bring your own linens as they are not included.

This is a beautiful place for 12 people to gather and celebrate. We filled the house with love, joy, and music. Tracey is responsive and helpful. Fantastic!

Small family group with baby and dog could not have been happier with this old time camp located right on the water in a beautiful cove with a sandy beach. Hosts provided high quality kayaks, canoe, paddle board and paddle boat and a vast array of children's toys and various tubes and floats. House accommodations were comfortable and clean with excellent kitchen supplies , towels and basically everything you might want in a vacation home. We had a beautiful week with endless kayaking, swimming and relaxing with our own family of loons right outside the windows of the camp. MAGICAL !!!

Incredible, beautiful location. Comfortable beds, clean, easy access, well furnished. View of the harbor is fantastic and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking right from the dock on the property. Short and easy walk to ice cream shop, convenience store, coffee shop and a great dockside lobster place. Sheila was very helpful and communicative. We'd love to return to this place.

I chose this place for mainly two reasons: a secluded spot for my dog and to be by the water and this place was perfect for that. I stayed with my family and we loved the open concept house and quick walk down to the beach. The beach was gorgeous, but not totally private as it is shared with some other homes nearby however we were often the only ones out there most days. The house was walkable to the little town of Port Clyde and easily drivable to Cushing and Rockland. We mostly enjoyed our time looking out at the water and saw a lot of wildlife right out the back deck like bald eagles, peregrine falcons, ospreys, porpoises, crabs, and wild turkeys. The only things I would recommend for future guests is extra bug spray and toilet paper if you are staying with multiple people. Some of the furniture and beds had a “lived in smell” however it’s probably from the moisture of being so close to the water. Overall this house is in a beautiful and peaceful location on the Maine coast.

Pirate Point is our favorite summer vacation spot and we've returned year after year. It's comfortable, peaceful and the perfect place to recharge. Beautiful surroundings and so well located in the midcoast; easy to make some really lovely day trips. So many terrific restaurants (especially if you love lobster and oysters) close by. We look forward to rediscovering the wildlife and birds each summer that make their home around Pirate Point. Robin is a wonderful host. 10/10.

The view was amazing and major park on water was a few steps away from house House was clean and supplied well . we will be coming back !!

Asa and his family are great hosts and gave us great tips on things to see, do and eat in the area. We really enjoyed our stay at Long Point Cove. The house was awesome and easily accommodated two couples with plenty of room to spread out. The large kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We absolutely loved our walks around the cove. Staying there helped make our first trip to Maine very special. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
