Describiría este hospedaje utilizando las palabras de mis sobrinos , fue como estar más arriba de las nubes casi tocando el cielo , los paisajes ,el clima y la ubicación hacen que sea ideal para relajarse y salir de la rutina , la casa es el mix perfecto entre tecnología y calidez de montaña , cada rincón del lugar está cuidadosamente decorado para que se sienta como un hogar . La anfitriona María Laura sin duda hizo una gran diferencia con la fluidez en la comunicación lo que hizo la estancia más amena y de verdad mi familia y yo nos sentimos como invitados espaciales , sin duda espero volver a este lugar , y recomiendo que si quieres crear lindos recuerdos no dudes en reservar también.

La casa es grande con espacios verdes y comodidad en general. Lugar seguro y tranquilo. cerca de todo lo necesario tambien. Se duerme muy bien. La casa está bien equipada.

Great location between Santa Maria and Copey. Our dogs loved the secure garden and short trail to the river. Rolando was a lovely host.

We had a great couple of nights at Guillermo’s beautiful place! It was a special stop on our travels to celebrate a friends birthday and from the moment we stepped foot through the gates, made our way through the lovely gardens, and into the cool sleek apartment we felt at home. We were able to cook with ease (everything we needed and more), great efficient laundry service, and a comfortable sleep and nice hot shower! The decor made it all the more homely (small details like nice smells and soft towels), and being able to watch the birds from both front and rear balconies was a treat. We had a great time and I’d recommend to anyone. We were 3 friends, but this is an ideal family destination too!

Wow, this place was absolutely magical. We were so grateful to have stayed in such a gorgeous home for 6 nights and have the chance to see 2 different types of toucans, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and coatis all on the property. The location and home were secure, clean, and impressive. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, showers werea dream. In the pictures, the Whale's Tail looked like it would be hard to see, but the actual view of Uvita and the Whale's Tail is pretty incredible and much closer than expected. We have been to Costa Rica a couple of times now and choose homes higher up in the jungle for the privacy and view, but I will say this house is UP THERE. There's no way a non-4x4 car would make it up. It was quite the ride, and did take us longer than google maps said to expect. Even with the drive, this place is where you want to be. Couldn't have been better. Diana, Roberto and team were also amazing to work with, friendly, and very responsive.

Our party of 12 all loved our stay. We particularly appreciated the attentiveness of Emanuel, who offered local expertise and guidance, and the immediate responses from the host, Peter. The birds and monkeys we could see from the patio made it a spectacular location. Lovely patio and pool. Table that seated 12 and a well equipped kitchen that could accommodate multiple cooks made the stay even more delightful. Thanks!

Hola amigos, Es un lugar muy bonito y agradable, ayuda a desconectar para conectar. Está a 6 minutos de la autopista principal, con buen acceso, también tiene un supermercado a 5 minutos de distancia lo cual lo hace ideal, tiene un excelente espacio de parqueo u seguridad en toda la propiedad La zona de piscina y parrilla es una terraza que sin duda alguna es muy confortable para disfrutar con la familia o amigos. El lugar está bien equipada con todos los equipos, electrodomésticos tecnológicos que hace muy confortable la estancia. El acceso al río dentro de la propiedad es muy fácil acceso; y el camino se encuentra con rotulación e indicación muy clara, la fauna y flora que posee el lugar es una belleza que caracteriza a la conexión del lugar Sin duda alguna al comunicación asertiva de Lorena hace que la estancia sea muy agradable y no tenga ninguna dificulta. Sin duda alguna es una JOYA ESCONDIDA, que sería un placer visitarla nuevamente. ✨

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

Our stay with Monica could not have been better. It was the little touches that contributed to a great stay. There were fresh eggs from Monica's personal hen house. We enjoyed feeding our veggie and fruit scraps the chickens each day. The jacuzzi was just the right temperature with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. Feeding the coy in the pond was mesmerizing as they came in large numbers to be fed. The shared living area was comfortable, and the large outdoor seating area was used by us every day to watch numerous birds and identify them with an app that identified them by sound. The highlight of our stay was a tour by Monica of her lovely gardens that were filled with many plants we were unfamiliar with. We are certainly hoping that we can visit again when we return to Costa Rica.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Ein wunderschöner Ort mit einem paradiesischen Garten. Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Leider waren wir nur 2 Tage dort. Monika ist sehr hilfsbereit und jeder Zeit erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für Alles.

We had an amazing stay at this house! It was very spacious and perfect for our group of 13 people. We absolutely loved having access to two pools, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including matches to light our birthday candles, which was a nice touch! The space for three cars was more than enough, and we loved that the beach was just 600 meters away. We truly enjoyed every moment here, and we will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommended!

What an amazing location! Probably one of the most stunning views of Costa Rica but certainly the best learning experience on sustainable living! The cooking of Marga is fantastic, make sure to eat there! You'll enjoy the nature and surroundings of this amazing finca! Un encanto for the mind and soul. I really enjoyed the tour of the finca and the approach/mindset on life. One day I hope to be back!

This place was an amazing retreat into the mountains after a long week in the humidity at envision. A beautiful place to decompress and relax amongst the clouds. Chema and Marga are amazing hosts, so kind and open with fascinating stories and insights into eco- living. The food is incredible— fresh local ingredients and made with love. I highly recommend! Definitely visit the nearby swimming holes / waterfalls as well. One of my favorite places to date!

La Beach suite de Three House Lodge es realmente impresionante, un lugar tranquilo, lleno de naturaleza, con todo lo necesario para tener unas vacaciones inolvidables. El hospedaje esta completamente equipado y la ubicación es ideal para visitar las atracciones del área. Dentro del hospedaje el baño es sumamente atractivo, así como disfrutar de Jacuzzi ecológico. Hay dos puntos a considerar dentro del hospedaje, el primero es la fauna del lugar, la cual está en contacto constante con el hospedaje, nos visitaron monos y mapaches durante nuestra estadía, si no estás acostumbrado al contacto con los animales, esto podría ser un problema para ti. El segundo punto, es la privacidad dentro del hospedaje, el cual está construido bajo el un concepto "abierto" siendo visible el baño desde las habitaciones o la sala de estar. Si tienes problema con bañarte frente a tus acompañantes esto podría también ocasionarte un inconveniente. Por lo demás, volvería encantado! Gracias Three House Lodge!

I booked this listing for a group of 8 women. We all needed time to get away from our busy lives in the U.S. The six nights at La Sombra were peaceful and inspiring! What a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. We were all stunned by the property, in a good way:) It was even better than the beautiful pictures provided. Each villa was appointed beautifully with quality linens, towels, robes, bath soaps, dishes, etc. We especially enjoyed the patio views and the design of the structures that incorporate natural light and the surrounding nature. We ate dinner each night on the patio of the main house, and found a spot for morning meditations on the bridge. Catherine and Ryan were available and responsive before, during and after our visit. And, I cannot say enough about the local cook, Marta. We all wanted to take her home with us! What a treat:) Thank you for sharing your home with us, Catherine and Ryan!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the 4th different rental we’ve stayed in on vacation in Costa Rica and has been our favorite. The house was extremely clean and modern but still comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family of 5 to have meals and mostly eat in which is exactly what I was hoping for. The pool is a good size and perfect depth for younger kids. The house is close to everything we needed and we found lots to do, but the area felt very private. The area is very friendly with great beaches and restaurants. The views at sunset (and all day) are just incredible! We highly recommend booking this place and wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
