Cory was always quick to respond and answer questions. The place was such a cute little countryside stay. Boomerangs restaurant was a 4 minute drive with great food, house was clean and had everything we needed. We will be back for the pool! Thank you Cory!

We loved this cozy and welcoming home. It had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. While we had an issue with one of the amenities, Candace was quick with her responses and rectified it. We appreciated her flexibility and we had a great time. We would love to visit again.

Very peaceful and comfortable. The scenery coming into the location is beautiful. The firepit area was very relaxing.

We had a wonderful girl’s weekend at Shelly’s listing! It was cozy and inviting, and we all felt very relaxed and welcome. The pictures did not do this cabin justice! The cabin was beautiful and decorated for the holidays which is always so special! We had to book this listing last minute after we found out hours before check-in of another listing that the host double-booked us. Shelly was very quick to respond when I reached out last minute and saved the day. I’d love to go back with my family and spend the holidays here!

Incredibly awesome place! A must-- stay! My wife and I just got back from being here for our 25th anniversary. no unpleasant surprises when arriving here. Everything absolutely accurate based on the photos and all descriptions. A beautifully designed cabin, spacious, outdoor hot tub and fire pit, wrap around porch, lots of land to explore in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains by the Susquehanna river. Even saw a large group of elk as we were pulling up! Secluded, peaceful, and an all-around quality property. All instructions were clear, simple, and fair. Several items are labeled for convenience, everything easy to use and operate. Also, Paul was a perfect host - very responsive, accommodating, helpful, and great customer service every time I contacted him. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for mine and my wife's special occasion. Great experience for a fair price, worth every dollar! Thanks again Paul.

Andy was an amazing host. His communication was always quick and kind. The property has everything you could want or need and it's obvious a lot of thought has gone into making it an amazing location for a restful get away. Everything was top of the line and made the cabin feel so luxurious. We took several ideas with us to implement into our own homes. I would easily stay here any chance I got and look forward to returning.

Beautiful home and property! Everything looks new and was clean. The decor was lovely and perfect for a cabin. Plenty of cookware and supplies for cooking. The game room and hot tub were really nice features and kept us entertained during a rainy weekend. There is access to the stream and trails but we didn’t have much luck catching fish. I was a bit disappointed that the dartboard wasn’t working properly but everything else worked well. They even had a cornhole setup. One layout downfall was the kids bunk bed room is next to the game room so we weren’t able to use it after the kids were sleeping. Just something to keep in mind with young kids. They didn’t have regular bed pillows, just the ones with shams that come with the bedding which was odd. We had a wonderful weekend overall and I would definitely recommend staying here. Penny was great to work with and always got back to us quickly.

Love this place. Stayed here multiple times for a yearly music writing retreat with my band and hopefully will continue for years to come. Piano is in tune and sounds great, very peaceful place with a amazing view. House is extremely clean and neat. Beds are very comfortable. Fire pit and hot tub are top notch. Host's are very responsive and accommodating.

We got to see at least 5 deer in the back yard. The weather wasn’t great for to get and go hiking. The only thing that was lacking was games to play inside when the weather was bad. We did enjoy the peace and quiet. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Ginger Bear and it was fantastic! Loved the peaceful location and all of the critters we could see from the windows. I also loved the trails on the property. It was a great place to walk my dogs. My husband and I are already taking about our next trip!

Friendly and responsive host, very clean, comfortable and easy bisque cabin, we will be back again next year for our third time!

I needed a place to reset, reboot, and revisit my favorite trails. This was tucked in off the road to give privacy and peace I was looking for. The floor to ceiling windows afforded an amazing view of the stars at night while laying on the very comfy couch. There are alot of games available for various ages. The skeeball game was so much fun. I was unable to use the fire pit due to rain but it was cozy and again afforded a great view of the sky at night. I loved the gym equipment upstairs. The TV was easy to navigate and had a lot of apps. The scenery was tranquil and beautiful. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of cooking along with the grill outside. This was well worth it. I loved the little journal she had for all the guests to fill out. It was so clean and no signs of any rodent or insect visitors noted inside. Inae responded promptly and was very welcoming. This was the best vacation I have had in a long time, basically because of this special nugget of a cabin.

I went to Joe's cabin for a weekend getaway to clear my mind. You couldn't find a better spot to do that. The cabin is on nearly 200 walkable acres. There is electricity if you wanted to use the lamp (like me) to read a book, journal your thoughts, etc. Though I didn't make use of it - the outdoor cooking space was spacious and accessible. There are plenty of outhouses for doing your business. And the walking paths are serene. If you're in the need to clear your head, but be close to a nice town (Ithaca is less than 30 minutes away) - book!

We have stayed here multiple times. The kids love exploring the area. My husband and I appreciate how peaceful the property is. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful private cabin! Garrett was so accommodating and letting us check in early. Our favorite things about this place was the privacy, peacefulness and the screened porch! Would definitely go back!

Beautiful property. Wonderful setting. Very clean & tidy. The location was ideal for exploring parks during the day and stargazing by the fire at night. We had an amazing stay.

Great cabin nestled in the mountainous woods at the top of a hill. Nice winter views of the mountains. Lots of beds in the upstairs loft, comfortable bedding, and a well stocked kitchen! We really enjoyed the place. There is not heat/air conditioning in the 2 downstairs bedrooms, so we had to sleep with bedroom doors open to capture heat from the living area, but it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit when we were there, so that might only be a problem during extreme temperatures. Don't let that scare you away though, everything else about the place was terrifiic!

This was our second visit to the cabin, and we look forward to more in the future! The kids loved the animals, horseback riding, fishing, hiking and eating homemade ice cream. The adults enjoyed the beauty of our surroundings, the convenience of a clean, well-stocked cabin and all the relaxing conversations. It was another memorable weekend in the books for us!

The cabin is a wonderful get away!!! The description cannot do it justice. The surroundings, the forest and lakes are beautiful. Christine and her parents are great hosts!!! The cabin doesn’t have plumbing or electricity. However, there is everything you need. There are battery powered lights, generators, a functional toilet, a sink with pressured water. There is a wood burning furnace with an oven above. Christine provided lots of wood for the stove to keep warm in the winter. There is a Coleman stove and a bbq. The cabin is a beautiful tranquil and rustic getaway. Perfect spot to rest or write or read. Lots of walking and outdoors activities around. We also did the sauna and ice water plunge which were an amazing experience!!! Would 100% go back.

We spent one night on our drive from Toronto to New York, and the location was perfect for our needs. Moreover, I definitely want to come there again. The place is cozy, clean, and well-equipped. It's evident that the owner puts his heart and soul into this business and cares about the guest's experience.

Such a peaceful and cozy place to retreat for the weekend. It was so pleasant to just sit outside and watch the horses roam. Loved using the fire pit and mini outside grill. Cute small towns near local farmers market, and a great local winery not far that had a great outside area. I will be returning .

Had a wonderful time at this cabin. Loved the feeling of no one else around.
