I had a wonderful relaxing weekend getaway surrounded by nature at this house. It is even better than the photos! The amenities were all great and everything was very well thought out. You can tell the care and love that goes into this house and the surrounding property. Thank you for welcoming me!

Loved our time there in January! The house is a perfect gathering spot for family- fantastic kitchen outfitted with everything. Well suited for small children (with crib, single bed in roomy master) yet elegant enough for discerning adults. The activity filled basement is great for kids, teens and adults. Well done, and Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was perfect for our weekend getaway to Canterbury Village. Close to town, yet perfectly private & felt like home! We were even able to have an Easter egg hunt for our granddaughter. We would highly recommend & stay again!

Every thing was either as pictured or even better than the pictures. It was one of the cleanest, most well stocked and nicely decorated Airbnbs that we have ever stayed at. We had a great time with family. Thanks for everything.

FALL GETAWAY-Stayed Oct 18-20, 2024 with friends. The surroundings at this cottage in the fall are absolutely beautiful lots of fall colours and wildlife. There's a lovely beach just down the road we had great weather so it was nice to go for a walk, very peaceful not allot of people this time of year. We had dinner at Macphersons on Friday night which was very good and pizza the following night at Grogs which was also very good. Host Rebecca was wonderful, helpful, very worry free experience. Great cottage very clean had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Fantastic getaway to unwind and enjoy the outdoors would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

Place was great and was as advertised. The property could probably use a deeper clean. The weather did not cooperate so weren’t able to utilize the outdoor area.

A wonderful country side home. Live like a local. Great sunset views and peaceful nights. Home is comfortable after a busy day on the go.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

From the moment I messaged Louise she was very open,honest and kind. Super easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Answering anything I asked. The home is gorgeous. I cant even begin to tell you how beautiful it really is. Every minor detail, decor piece and little detail is so well put together, homey and thoughtful. The house has a welcoming feeling about it to the point where youre so calm and at peace. That doesnt come easy. The rooms are spacious, and lots of storage if you need it. Bedding and beds are wonderful. The bathroom is also super amazing with a double sink for getting ready. The yard is stunning and well maintained, you can tell she takes great pride in every aspect of their home. It was a dream to stay here and I can not recommend it enough!! If you have the chance, please go stay here.

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

We had a lovely stay. Nice and quiet. There is a private beach close by which was really nice with a beautiful sunset. Host is amazing and would stay again!

Enjoyed our time in the area. I'm from the lake area and enjoyed being centrally located to friends and family. Its a quiet location for the most part. Commonly refered to as a carriage house, located over the garage, you do here conversations and comings and goings of people adjacent to the property. We found everything we needed in the apartment. Bed was firm. which we enjoy, very cofortable. Linens were nice and served our stay well. Heating and cooling worked well and there was ample hot water. It takes a bit to reach the upstairs, but once it does, the pressure is good. Be aware that the stairway up is quite steep...may not be suitable for some. There are hand rails and a light in the stairway. There are a number of restaurants in the area...M29 diner is a favorite and Marine City Fish Company just up the river is also one of our area favorites. We would maybe stay here again if in the area, but think we prefer fully private dwellings.

Thank you so much for hosting us, we had lots of fun on the swing. And we loved the beach. It’s clean, private and fun.

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

Our family truly enjoyed staying in the cabin and catching up with family! It was very clean and well kept! We will be back for other family events in the future!

Beautiful cabin! (A little jealous I don't own it!) We were there for an ice fishing weekend, had a great time and the cabin was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the ice. Very cozy!

We will 100% be booking with Moe again. He was right there with us whenever we needed him and was so friendly! His dog Rocco was also a hoot! The place was spotless, there were fire pits EVERYWHERE! grills, all of the beach equipment you could ask for, crystal clear night sky, it was perfect! Definitely coming back later in the summer!!!

space has a great view. semi-easy access to the beach. In a shared area. all other gyests were friendly, and mostly kept to themselves. beautiful area, comfortable stay! Definitely recommended!

Perfect spot for my mom & I to stay while we visited family in the area. We loved the cozy-chic cabin vibe. The decor was beautiful and SO COMFORTABLE, from the couch to the beds. Well-appointed kitchen for all our needs & we appreciated the Keurig. It’s very quiet, and the skylights are amazing. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trail on a frosty morning - perfect start to the day. When I had a couple questions, Annalisa was very quick to respond. We miss the Hideaway already and hope to visit again!!

Danielle was great. The place was beautiful. We stayed there to go to Bavarian Blast and it was close and an easy drive there.

This cabin is the cure for what ails you! The details and style inside the cabin are mind blowing, and the view is indescribably beautiful. The value for this one is off the charts, book it if you can!
