Lewis and Harris : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Lovely place to stay, Carolyn was there to greet me on arrival. The view from the shared back porch was beautiful! Could see a lot of stars too. Good little continental breakfast provided. Although I could easily hear them when they were in the next room and worried I made too much noise for them, I think it worked out fine and we didn't end up being obtrusive once it was bedtime!

Our stay in Skye at Baya’s was wonderful! It was exactly as described, clean, and Baya was helpful and communicative throughout the booking and our stay. We travelled with our 1 year old and there was room for his travel cot in the small breakfast nook, and if he was older the twin bed would have been perfect. A thoughtful breakfast was left for us, and Baya was kind enough to free our ice packs for our cooler for my son’s milk prior to us checking out. Location wise it was ideal. A short walk into town (stroller friendly walk!) for dinner in Portree, very close to a co-op for snacks, and the perfect home base for exploring the island. Parking was easy in the driveway.

Maureen made us feel like we had known her for ages. She was warm and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was comfortable and quiet, and we were well placed to enjoy most of Skye. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Sandra was a great host. She was helpful, quick to respond and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Her breakfast setup was perfect for us. The location was convenient for walking to town without having to worry about parking. We would highly recommend her and would stay here again.

Had such a great time staying here! Lynne was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations on where to eat and things to do/go see. The location of the house is perfect if you’re wanting to do anything in the Isle of Skye. Great hospitality and overall an amazing experience!!

Increíble estancia. La casa se encuentra en medio de la naturaleza, a escasos pasos de una playa preciosa y a pocos minutos en coche de Kilt Rock o Old Man of Storr. Las instrucciones de Elizabeth nos ayudaron a encontrar la casa sin problema. Además, se tomó el tiempo de incluir indicaciones en la hoja de bienvenida pensando en todo lo que podríamos necesitar: restaurantes recomendados con sus menús, sitios qué visitar etc. La habitación y el baño estaban impecables. Elizabeth nos dejó un desayuno súper completo para cada día en la habitación, además de café y té. Nos sentimos como en casa. Una experiencia maravillosa en uno de los lugares más bonitos de Escocia. Muchísimas gracias a Elizabeth por su amabilidad!

Wonderful stay at Bernisdale. Isabel and her husband (and her dog) were amazing hosts, making a generous amount of time to talk with guests about our day and to help with plans. But never intrusively! Her help was very welcome. Breakfast included delicious home made bread, cakes and jams. Very comfy stay.

Estava tudo perfeito, bom pequeno-almoço, espaço limpo e num sítio sossegado. A Elizabeth foi uma excelente anfitriã. Recomendo bastante o espaço de Elizabeth

This place is amazing value and so much more than a B&B with private access and plenty of space, a very comfy bed and sofa. Christine and Howard are lovely hosts who make you feel really welcome and are on hand if you need anything but also respect your privacy. The welcome hamper is the best I've ever seen and was all much appreciated, and the kitchen was stocked with a wide range of breakfast cereals and tea and coffee. The apartment is in a beautiful and quiet location with views of sea and mountains at the front and easy access to Big Sand beach through the nearby campsite, yet only a short drive from all that Gairloch has to offer (my personal happy place being The Mountain bookshop and cafe!)

lain met us and we immediately felt at home. The flat was warm and sunny. Everything we needed was there and we were very comfortable. The walk to town was easy and Iain had mentioned several places to eat which we found useful. A great stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Sue’s. The apartment was immaculate with stunning views. We ate once at The Applecross Inn and also cooked out on the beach … two fantastic meals ! We will definitely return and highly recommend Sue’s house to our friends.

A really charming flat right off the city center. Centrally located on the island, providing easy driving to major sights to visit. Hard to believe it’s under a paint store, given the quality of the flat.

We have stayed in a few places on the NC 500 route and this is one of the best. It was so good to have your own lounge and full size TV. The shower was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable and the views are amazing. The host was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good as well and we were made to feel really welcome. The gravel drive was not really motorcycle friendly so we parked just outside on concrete hard standing and this was not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Il soggiorno da Vicki è stato semplicemente stupendo! Ho apprezzato molto il suo gusto nell’arredamento, la cura ai dettagli e la deliziosa colazione con prodotti homemade. Potersi rilassare con un bagno caldo, leggendo un buon libro scelto tra le proposte della loro libreria sorseggiando infusi e godendosi la vista dalle vetrate dopo una lunga giornata di trekking sull’isola di Syke è qualcosa di indescrivibile. Vicki è un host gentile, dal momento in cui ci ha accolti fino a quando ci siamo salutati è sempre stata sorridente e non ci ha mai fatto mancare nulla.

Anne est une charmante hôtesse. Son accueil était parfait. Sa disponibilité impeccable. Le logement était fabuleux et très propre , très bien décoré. Tout était mis à disposition. Quant au petit déjeuner il est digne d’un grand hôtel , extraordinaire. Nous la remercions beaucoup pour sa gentillesse et ses talents de cuisinière,nous recommandons vivement.

This place exceeded my expectations. Glyn was a super helpful host and there were a few things that stood out while there - The decor was super fun: a mix of quirky, classy, country, and very comfortable; the views of the fields and coastline out front and bunnies out back were fantastic; and the level of effort and quality put into breakfast was amazing (they thought of everything). It felt like I was staying in a relative's home, although Glyn would offer a few helpful bits I needed and then he left me alone. There are few items that didn't dampen my stay and can't be changed but are worth mentioning - If you're about 5'11" (I am), you'll need to duck your head in a few spots, while being over 6'2" would probably mean a lot more ducking; be prepared to get creative at making space to do your hair and makeup (it's an old country cottage so I expected it); and the roads on Isle of Skye are not for the faint hearted. Lol. Ultimately I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

Janet, nous avons passé une superbe nuit dans ton logement. Idéalement situé, facile d’accès. Un cadre idyllique . Ton accueil était super bienveillant. Chez toi tout est confort. Et que dire du petit déjeuner: absolument immanquable. Tu nous proposes même différents menus! Tu es une hôte de choix, tu le fais par passion et cela nous a ému. Et nous n’hésiterons pas une minute si nous revenons par là! Merci.

Total honesty: as we braved the unlit, one-lane road back to Papillion, I was a little worried. But I should not have feared — the hosts were nice, the B&B space was pristine, and the breakfast every morning (with tea and espresso options in your room on your own schedule) were perfect. James and Rachel have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making people comfortable, and they did a fantastic job. SIDE NOTE: If you do stay here, Dunvegan is not far up the road. The castle and gardens are excellent, and The Old School (restaurant) is superb.

What an absolute delight. Lorna is the perfect host, with a good eye for what guests need to make them feel welcome and “at home”. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sithean and would 100% recommend it to others.

Just wow - Rosie’s place is nothing short of exceptional. The house is decorated so beautifully and the location is completely perfect, just on the river where you can watch birds and otters from the sofa. Rosie put on an amazing breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious. We will absolutely come back to this delightful home.
