We were travelling with friends and everyone enjoyed the stay and we felt lucky to have found Ciaran's place, which had everything we needed and more. It is located in a beautiful peaceful place, walkable distance to the sea side. We chose to Uber it to the city center, but it is also possible to use public transport. It was easy to follow the instructions from Ciaran and we felt right like at home. Huge thanks!

We loved our stay - spacious and comfortable house with everything you could need for a great stay. The location was great for a wedding at Cabra Castle. Very peaceful setting. The only things I would point out is the absence of mirrors in the bedrooms.

What a gorgeous, peaceful, and well stocked home! The scenery is a pastoral postcard, and the home is on a private, quiet cul-de-sac (many neighbors are full time residents ~ friendly, quiet, considerate). We have two dogs, and we were grateful to find a dog-friendly residence AND with so many amazing forest trails less than five minutes from the house ~ heaven! And the home ~ 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms ~ a well stocked kitchen, a most comfy living room with a great TV, a fireplace ~ all so convenient and comfortable. We needed a place for two months as we are moving to the area, but it takes so long here to close on a house, so we weren't just vacationing; we were LIVING there. Still, it had all we needed for day-to-day living. Miriam was immediately responsive when we contacted her, but honestly, we never needed anything so we rarely needed to be in touch. In sum, it was a remarkable deal for such comfort in an amazing area We feel quite lucky.

Ken was a fantastic host, the house, the character, the attention to detail, surroundings and location are stunning. I can’t rate this place highly enough. Thank you Ken for this amazing privilege and for helping my family and I enjoy such a special and memorable weekend in this beautiful and very memorable home.

Our stay at Flo’s cottage was amazing! The cottage is cozy, beautiful yard, hammocks available, she even stocked the fridge with a few goodies for our arrival! There was a list of nearby pubs, restaurants, and take aways. We were fully stocked with wood for the stove and it was lovely to have in the evenings. Overall I highly recommend this delightful hideaway in the Irish countryside, everything about it is just wonderful! Thanks again Flo!

The holiday started well as we were greeted by Maureen who gave us a warm reception and showed us around the property. The property is amazing, and it is stylishly furnished and equipped with all manner of household items including hundreds of toys which occupied our granddaughter throughout the week. The property is located on a hill with panoramic views, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening. We were fortunate with the weather which was dry but, in any event, there was plenty to occupy ourselves with within the property including a television and various equipment such as the dishwasher and washing machine which made our life quite easy. We also appreciated the beach equipment including chairs which helped us to enjoy the seaside which we visited virtually every day. This was undoubtedly the best holiday property we have experienced, and we are likely to return again next year for more of the same.

Andrew was a great host! We loved our stay, and it was a great location to do day trips to the south of Ireland! The friendly dog was a huge plus, as well!

Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. We wanted to stay a bit outside of the downtown area as we have a car. There was ample on street parking. The Lidl was only a few blocks away. There is a lake just about 1 km up the hill which is great for a walk or run. Beware of the geese. They are a bit feisty. You can easily walk into the "tourist zone". The kitchen is well equipped. As it is an older house there are a few quirks. Pearse walks you through them. On other reviews the height of the shower was noted. That is true. The shower ceiling slants. As I am the average size of a 12 yo (maybe 10), this was not an issue for me. My husband said he sat down and it was not a big deal. The bed was very comfortable. The dishwasher and washing machine worked fine. Nearly everything can be recycled in the bins out front which we appreciate.

Will was a great host,so friendly and helpful with recommendations of places to go and eateries. The apartment was spotless,so comfortable and had everything you could think of. There were lovely treats for us aswell,which were very welcome! We'll be back,thanks a million Will!

My stay in this apartment was exceptional. The accommodation was exactly as described and provided all the amenities promised. The hosts were very responsive and provided clear and helpful information. The apartment is located in a quiet and safe suburb with exceptional sea views. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

Our stay at Joan's was very relaxing. It was exactly what I expected and wanted. Waking up to the view of the sea out the window was perfect each day. The locals are extremely friendly and always happy to talk. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable and has all of the amenities needed. I will definitely be back again.

I stayed at Selina’s apartment for 4 nights. It’s situated in a beautiful Irish country setting halfway between Fethard and Killenaule. From the very start I felt right at home. The apartment itself is very spacious and well laid out. It has everything you’d need. Selina had even provided milk and basic foodstuffs and plenty for breakfast. When I arrived she had a beautiful fire on which made it very welcoming. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Selena is an excellent host and extremely helpful and generous. You will see this for yourself when you book it. I would definitely stay again. Thank You!

A lovely house in a lovely setting

amazing place! brilliant to chill and hang out with family. Kids had a super time playing on the astro pitch and all the adults had a great time chilling in the open plan living space and garden. Fantastic furniture and fittings. Definitely worth a stay

We had a lovely stay at John’s place in Newcastle - there were 6 adults and two babies in our family group. Clear instructions were given for arrival and responses were very prompt when contacted. The house was very clean and well presented with everything we needed for our stay. The house was close to restaurants, shops and all amenities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the house to anyone wanting to stay in Newcastle and we hope to stay again in the future. Thank you

Beautiful, peaceful home in pristine surroundings. Plenty of room to spread out with our group of 8. The child in our party was delighted by the playground by the lake-zip line, swings, treehouse and trampoline. The weather was cool and rainy and Adrian supplied us with plenty of wood to keep the fire blazing. The house is modern yet cozy and the kitchen well supplied.

We absolutely loved our stay here!💚 The photos don’t even do this place justice!! It’s so much more beautiful in person!😍 The surroundings are gorgeous & so peaceful.🌳⛰️ We loved the hot tub & the bar area. The rooms, bathrooms & living spaces were all beautifully decorated & so clean that you felt right at home straight away!✨ This house easily housed a big group of girls & not once did we feel overcrowded or tight for space. Host was very helpful & friendly too!🥰

We loved our stay at Whiting Bay. The house is beautiful and set in the most stunning location. Maria was a very helpful host and responded very quickly to any queries. The house is ideal for large groups and worked so well for our family gathering. I would highly recommend.

we stayed here for a hen party of 10 (sleeps 14)! Just a 5 minute drive from carlingford! the pictures don't do the house justice! much bigger in real life and gorgeous country setting! more than enough room for all of us and Phelim met us on arrival and showed us around the house! really friendly with recommendations for food and taxis! we had a great stay and if in a large group again would 100% book! we used mavericks taxis which we were able to prebook for all our journeys! super handy as we were all able to go together in the mini bus!

We fell in love with the house. It just felt like home. Super comfortable, peaceful, spacious and clean. It had every amenity you can wish for. I could have stayed forever. One negative, unfortunately, was the Internet connection. It did not work at all. We contacted Susan and were told that the provider does not work weekends. I think maybe a little effort could have been done to contact a help desk to intervene. Some of us needed to connect for work and it was quite frustrating that the service was not available. It also meant of course that we could not watch any of the TV applications available on their smart TV.
