We had a very short but sweet stay in Baltyboys Lodge B&B. My partner and I were attending a wedding nearby and were very pleased to have found this gem. It has been years since we've stayed in a B&B and Catherine reminded us of what a pleasure good ol Irish hospitality is. Nothing seems like a problem to Catherine when it comes to her guests (even at silly o'clock in the middle of the night) it seems like she goes above and beyond for everybody she welcomes into her home. Cozy, charming, very comfortable and peaceful surroundings that can't be beaten. We will recommend Baltyboys Lodge B&B to anyone visiting the vicinity.

If you are looking for a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life you’ll find it here. The area is quiet & peaceful, although the kitchen is shared space we mostly had it to ourselves. It was a nice space to interact with new people if you wish. The parking was a bit tight with several cars making it a bit challenging to get out of the tight driveway.

A big thanks to Nicola and Durcan for our wonderful stay at Annaghmore House, Sligo. The days past far to quickly, there was so much to see and explore. We enjoyed meeting their beautiful and friendly dogs, they always had a welcome for us. We loved breakfast while chatting with our hosts Nicola and Durcan, finding out all about the history of the House, which was fascinating. Nicola recommended places to go and visit. My only complaint is that our stay was too short. I hope we get an opportunity to visit again, maybe while doing the ‘Sligo Way’ trail next year.

This was a wonderful place to stay to kick off a south to north hike of the Wicklow Way. Kathleen and Bill were incredibly kind and generous hosts. They picked me up from a town 15 minutes away and drove me to the trailhead the next morning. And they provided a free breakfast and a homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. Lovely, cozy stay.

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie's stunning house. Marie is very warm and welcoming and you do feel like you're a guest in her home. The room was lovely and comfortable with good wifi and bathroom right next door. Only a short ten minute walk into the local village where you can get a meal or coffee. Also walkable to Powerscourt and the gardens. You will also meet Bailey, the adorable golden retriever...just to mention that Bailey likes hot buttered toast as I do :-) Overall, excellent and would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Ce sont des gens charmants. Très réactifs et adorables et leur fils est venu me chercher et m'a ramené. La chambre avec salle de bain était top et la vue, l'environnement merveilleux avec les moutons. J'ai adoré mon séjour là bas!!! Encore merci à ces hôtes super

I had such a lovely stay at Pam’s beautiful countryside shed in County Carlow. The place is cosy, peaceful, and full of charm - the perfect spot to unwind and feel connected to nature. Pam was such a kind and thoughtful host, always making sure I felt comfortable and welcome. Communication was easy and responsive from the very beginning, which I really appreciated. Thank you, Pam!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very well placed in a lovely little village with all the amenities you need close by. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hostess Jules was very kind and helpful. The house itself is a real joy to stay in. In fact - I would advise people who even have no need to get accommodation to go and stay at least one night just for the experience. The furnishings and decor are incredible and one of a kind unique. It is like staying in a little piece of Georgian history. Imagine a period drama or something like Mrs Marples - Murder on the Orient express. It is like the set of one of those. Just fantastic.

Mary was a super host: extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable. Her home is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and our bedroom was very well presented and comfortable. We enjoyed eating our continental breakfast in the sunny dining room which looked out onto the garden. Mary’s homemade soda bread was freshly made and still warm. A delicious treat!

Das war mein erster Studienaufenthalt in Dublin. Elvas Unterkunft war sehr angenehm und unweit von allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Elva ist sehr freundlich und bietet allmorgendlich ein leckeres kleines Frühstück an. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s house looking out on the fields surrounding her home. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and Mary was an excellent host. She shared great recommendations of the local area and prepared a tasty breakfast the next morning before we left. We will absolutely be staying at Mary’s again!

Ann's place is located outside of the town but still easily accessible, its quiet and calm in a beautiful area with sheeps. Ann welcomed us warmly, she was really nice during our entire stay, giving us great advices for all the things to do in this part of Ireland and even for our next road, the breakfast was continental but very generous with everything being delicious. Ann was always available when we needed and made sure that our stay was going well. The part of the house dedicated to the guest is comfy and nicely decorated, our room with the bathroom en-suite were huge and well equipped, we had access to the breakfast room at any moment to take a tea, there was also a fridge and a microwave accessible to us in this room and we had space to sit and enjoy the place. Thank you for the amazing stay we had at your place !

Alors comment dire nous n’avons pas de mot pour décrire notre séjour chez Kerstin, la maison la chambre l’environnement un petit paradis sans parler du petit déjeuner digne d’un hôtel 5 étoiles !! Et Kerstin est un amour et comme dit dans les commentaires elle devrait etre ambassadrice de Airbnb !!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Gracious hosts with amazing personalities. I felt at home and very much enjoyed chatting with them. 100% recommend to anyone!

Overall very good. Close to all amenities. Thought there would be a fry up for breakfast but very nice what was on offer. Would return again.

Hatte sehr entspannte Tage in Kates Studio und der schönen Gegend. Alles war wie beschrieben - Kate hatte Brot, Butter, Eier, Milch, Joghurt und Saft bereitgestellt. Dazu Müsli glf, Bananen, Heidelbeeren, Kiwis....Tee, Kaffee und eine Grundausstattung zum Kochen waren da. Ich hab es genossen! Kate ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lieben Dank!

Lovely,peaceful setting at top of the house.We had everything we needed and a comfy bed. Zita and her mother Jo were wonderfully warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. Would book again should we be travelling this way again. Great craic and scones.

Geraldine bietet ein tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und werden täglich gereinigt. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten und Geraldine ist gerne bereit, Ausflugstipps zu geben. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt.

Kathleen and Tim are the nicest and loveliest people you’ll find. Their home is the cosiest and the surroundings are out of this world. Will stay again when I’m back to visit Ireland. It’s also a great location to stay when you’d like to visit the Wicklow Mountains or other nearby scenes.

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

Frances is one of the most wonderful souls that walks this planet, and I say this with every ounce of my heart. Such a positive, energetic, vibrant and soulful spirit who motivated and inspired me not just on my travels but for all things life! She absolutely went over and above to ensure my comfort and then some, constantly filling the room fridge with goodies , fruit / yoghurt / treats , her homemade baked goods when I arrived home were waiting for me warm and fresh. She recommended all of the best spots to see , took time out to assist me on getting to where I needed and on time on the days I had to travel and was just an absolute gem I was in tears when I had to say goodbye to her because she was not only a host but quickly became a great friend , a teacher and almost a mother figure I’ve needed to make me realise who I am She is an incredible person. And comes with so much wisdom and advice also The room is so tranquil, with beautiful views and so quiet Comfiest bed ever

Katy was super helpful and kind with us. She always replied quickly and was very welcoming when we arrived. The cabin was extremely clean and organized — not to mention beautiful and well decorated. It was my birthday, and I woke up early to watch the sunrise right in front of the place. It was amazing! The whole place is just incredible — perfect to escape the chaos of the city, relax, go to the beach, and enjoy the sun. It was an amazing experience for us. We were really happy!

We spent our last night in Ireland at Sean's house. We were tired and were thankful they were willing to allow us to come an hour early. The room is lovely and comfortable
