Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We had the pleasure of staying for an entire month in this immaculate property where we immediately felt at home. Located in a quiet residential area but close to local amenities the facilities are excellent and the hosts go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

The Wedge is a lovely place to stay we had a great time and was so close to the beach. Ria was very helpful and accomadating for us she litterally goes above and beyond for her guests. Will be booking to stay The Wedge again very soon. Thankyou Ria

Robin’s Nest is a lovely comfortable homely house with everything you need situated in a quiet neighbourhood. We thouroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Great place to stay. Nice and easy to find. Very nice to have a whole house. Suited the three of us very well. Even had a Deliveroo delivery as well. Great communication from the host aswell. Highly recommend

We have just returned home from a week’s stay at Karen‘s house. It was a home from home with lots of space for our family of five and very clean. Karen was super helpful and responsive, she even went as far as leaving presents out for our children that they loved and food items for our stay. The house is centrally located for shopping, the seafront, park and many other local attractions. If you are thinking of staying here, we highly recommend and would book again. Thank you Karen!

Beautiful cottage! Jan was responsive and helpful to our requests. Spent just one night for a wedding but will go back. The cottage is beautiful and Jan left an unexpected welcome basket. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay at the caravan. The caravan was immaculate and spacious. The location was lovely, being very close to the water. We would absolutely return.

Nous avons séjour 6 jours chez Tracy et nous en sommes très satisfaits ! Le logement est conforme à la description et le lieu est super pour les enfants. Tout était très propre et fonctionnel. Mersea Island est une belle destination.

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Hideaway. This time we used the children's play area just across the grass, my two grand daughters loved it. Many thanks, another lovely break.

We had a lovely stay for New Year, we were mainly exploring Whitstable which was so close by and lots of walks on the beach just over the road

Un séjour au top pour fêter Noël en famille, près de la cheminée, autour d'un beau sapin et de jolis petits cadeaux dès notre arrivée ! Nikitia a été au petit soin pour nous et nous a même conseillé plusieurs activités de Noël dans les environs...

Everything was as described but i think re when the pool was opening could have been made clearer. Was not open at our stay opening 1st May 2025.

Exceptional. Will Always use this accomodation where possible when travelling. What an amazing place - set in beautiful surroundings. Brilliant wify all tv channels comfortable bed! Honestly don’t even think about it! A star! X

We had a fantastic time staying here. It was very clean and tidy. It had a very homely feel and was very well equipped. The area was very quiet. It is perfectly located with wonderful walks along the front on the beach with some fantastic restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Michael and use their caravan again.

Molly Jaynes place is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous little balcony and so close to the beach. Molly Jayne was really responsive and helpful.

Sandys rustic cabin is set in a beautiful garden which was peaceful and relaxing, both Sandy and her husband were very welcoming and always at hand if needed. It was Nice to see the ponies walking around and watch the birds feeding. The accommodation was comfortable and we both slept very well in the comfy bed. Our daughter made a visit to us and our 4 year old granddaughter enjoyed the ponies and using the trampoline in Sandys front garden.

Home was bright, airy and clean. Beautifully presented with a chic decor. Host suggested dog friendly activities and eateries in the area pre arrival and had great communication. Kitchen was modern and having milk, coffee and tea was a bonus but floor tiles were cracked in a few places. Bathroom was stunning and had some toiletries available. I didn’t feel comfortable using the shared garden with my dog as he would definitely spoil the other guests relaxation time. Also being able to see into their bedroom and lounge felt intrusive. However, we made full use of the large lounge balcony instead to soak up the sun. Unfortunately the bridge to Chalkwell Beach was closed which made the walk to that beach longer but the walk to Leigh on Sea along coastal path was very pleasant with plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. All in all we had an amazing time.

Extremely clean. Sauces etc in kitchen was unexpected and a very nice touch . Ditto Extra duvets, pillows in wardrobes. Shampoo etc in bathroom. Single beds very comfy. Double bed has a firm mattress. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again

The Lodge was great...very clean, well equipped, beautiful setting. We had a lovely break and the whole experience went really well from booking through to checking out. We...and our dog...would definitely recommend the Lodge.
