Great deck and view of the lake - peaceful and relaxing. The house had all the amenities we needed - great grill, large sitting area and TV to hang out with family. The kids enjoyed playing in the downstairs area and roasting marshmallows out back.

Betsy Lee is friendly and helpful! She greeted us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable instantly. An eagle perched on a branch less than 100 ft away from the porch, and regularly patrolled the creek over the 4 days and nights that we enjoyed in the subtle creek sounds and early signs of spring. With Rickets Glen close by, this is likely to be a destination we revisit in the future. If you are looking for local things to do, Betsy Lee has you covered… and if you just want to lounge the hours away in the romantic tree nest apartment and porch, she’s more than happy to give you your privacy. Great time. Honestly wished I stayed for longer. Nice area with a lot to do. Montage mountain was pretty close which was a huge bonus. Would recommend the place for a nice getaway

We love this house! This is our second year staying here, and we hope to make it a yearly visit. It's set in a nicely wooded area with plenty of open fields that often have deer, turkey and other wildlife that make morning and evening appearances. The pond is thriving with small fish, and I felt that the toads had plenty to say about us visiting their space XD and the hot tub just adds another layer to relaxing in nature. We also love that it has an almost-off grid feel while still being able to connect (with upgraded internet from our previous stay!). We watched plenty of movies in the comfortable family room, spent a lot of time chilling at the dining table, and overall was able to relax in a comfortable, clean environment. We would recommend this place 100%!

The place was spotless I loved everything about it. It has everything you needs and it was very clean and confortable. The communication was great, Ana responded quickly. You have a TV in every room; the kids loved that. I don’t have anything else to say … just positive things.💙💙 thank you so much for sharing your home with my family.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Drowsy Beaver Cabin! Stacy, our host, was so helpful in all of her communications and very responsive. She was so thoughtful that she even left really good gluten-free snacks after asking if any of us has food allergies. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous with really great indoor and outdoor spaces that have stunning views and a warm, comfortable feel. There were thoughtful touches throughout, such as soft throw blankets to snuggle up with in the living room, a stock of wood for the fireplace and fire pit with fire starter, a jar with cotton balls and qtips the bathroom, a stock of k-cups and creamer, maps from the two big state parks nearby, flyers from recommended stores and so much more. We walked in and felt instantly cozy and at home. It was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake. We will absolutely be going back for more stays at the Drowsy Beaver.
