Featuring 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living room with a fireplace, this cottage is perfect for a family getaway or a couples retreat. Enjoy the large deck with a hot tub and BBQ, as well as access to nearby hiking trails and attractions. Cottage 37 sits on a ridge that overlooks the 3,050-acre Taylorsville Lake.

Newly built cottage located in the country. Enjoy amazing views from a covered front porch as you rock in comfortable rocking chairs. Fully furnished and beautifully decorated to make your stay comfortable and delightful. Memory foam mattresses for wonderful sleep and a kitchen for cooking if desired. Pool is behind owners residence and is shared with owners family and possibly 2 additional people. We have recently also installed a Tesla High Powered Wall Charger w/60amps. We’d love to have you!

Lake access is less than a 5 minute drive, and there is a community pool just down the road when in season, and other community amenities you can enjoy. The Basil (baz-el) cottage is the perfect get-a-way where you can sit on the back porch sipping coffee while overlooking the babbling creek- get back in touch with nature for a much needed break from the stress of every day life. It may be a much needed romantic weekend, a mid- way point as you tour the bourbon trail, visiting Lincoln's childhood home or just a place of your own while in town to visit family, no matter what brings you to our cottage- you will love it here.

Johnetta Schoolhouse Inn

We welcome you to the Johnetta Schoolhouse Inn in beautiful Climax Ky. Our schoolhouse was built and 1928 and is a historical landmark. It has been renovated into a two bedroom dwelling with a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry room with all necessary supplies. The Inn is nothing fancy, but is clean and quant. I am committed to following Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process so that all my guests enjoy a clean sanitized environment and feel safe during their stay.
