Inese and her place in the beautiful Vidzeme countryside was all we could have hoped for and more. She truly made us feel welcome and appreciated. The wood fired pirts (sauna) and hot tub were a special treat! Everything in the home was done with care. Would definitely come back to Inese’s place in the future.

This place was truly magical! I would give it more stars if possible 🌟 The location was very close to Cēsis and easy to find but also private. The interior was truly outstanding and the outside area is perfect for peaceful rest by the pond and a nice barbecue. The host even provides everything you would need for cooking inside, a nice outdoors bbq and even for the sauna. The inside of the sauna house was also outstanding - you feel like you are a part of the Baltic mythology and can enjoy magical sauna vibes with everything you would need available! 🙌🏻 The host was amazingly helpful and friendly - promtly answered all of our questions. Thank you, Inese! Overall I would recommend this location for any kind of bigger event or small gathering you might have, especially the sauna. I’m definitely going back! 🤍

This Airbnb experience was just amazing. Valters offered everything we could wish for and more. We had a truly wild experience in the countryside of Latvia. I recommend this Airbnb for everyone and it's now our official Christmas place. We did things like ice skating, cross country skiing, playing with huskies, ice swimming and much more. Book this airbnb for a guaranteed amazing experience. They even got us a Christmas tree (from the wild).

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The sauna and hot tub were perfect for relaxing, and the nearby pond added a peaceful touch to the whole experience. I stayed here with my child, and he absolutely loved the cozy upstairs room – it felt like a little adventure for him. The place was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Highly recommended for a family getaway!

The property was excellent with impressive facilities. We wish we'd had the time to stay for longer so that we could take advantage of them all fully. I'd warmly recommend a visit to anybody that wants a quiet and restful getaway. Laima and her husband were very welcoming and organised hosts. Peaceful riverside escape! This place was amazing—beautiful location right by the river, super quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was a dream, especially at night under the stars. We loved using the grill and spending time outdoors. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Perfect spot for a getaway—highly recommend!

Nors ir buvome neilgai bet iš tiesų pailsėjome. Namelis labai tvarkingas, radome visko, ko tik galėtų prireikti- viskas apmąstyta iki smulkiausių detalių. Aptverta privati teritorija, nepriekaištingai sutvarkyta. Šeimininkas labai paslaugus ir malonus. Didelis pliusas, jog galima atvykti su augintiniu.

We had an exceptional week at this cozy cottage. We enjoyed our meals outside in the terrace, an outdoor swing was a very nice and unexpected touch also. Location was exactly what we were looking for - we stayed with a dog and wanted a pet friendly place with walkable distance to a not crowded beach. This place stands out with a well-equipped kitchen and other well thought through small details - such as paper towels, coffee, tea, decorative cozy elements which feels like home 🏡 Really recommend and would come back again 🙂🌊☀️

We had a very pleasant stay at Inese’s lovely cottage. It was as described on the listing and any of our additional questions were answered quickly and in a friendly manner. Ahead of our stay, we were sent a helpful information sheet. The cottage itself is located in a peaceful place, fairly close to the capital city and other towns nearby. We loved the personal touches (great board games and various extras) throughout the house. The cottage was quick to heat up so absolutely fine for a winter stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful family get away.

Очень хорошо отдохнули в доме у Валтерса. Очень красивый дом, все что нужно для отличного отдыха есть. Место тихое, у нас был замечательный караоке вечер. Есть спортивные площадки, но использовать не получилось(пол дня был дождь) Терраса у дома большая и вмещает всех без проблем. Мы очень рады побывать в таком месте, к тому же у этого места есть своя история длинною в несколько столетий.

We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.

Very pleasant stay. There was everything we could have wanted in the kitchen, fully equipped bathroom and sauna, comfy beds. We also enjoyed the grill and the outdoor seating area.

Wir waren zu zweit für eine Woche in der schönen Hütte. Es war sehr gemütlich und der Blick in den schönen Garten war perfekt, um in den Tag zu starten und abends zu entspannen. Wir haben uns immer sehr gefreut, wenn die Enten vorbeikamen! Die Lage in Jūrmala ist super entspannt, ganz einfach mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Mit den zwei Fahrrädern, die wir von Mara bekommen haben, sind wir entspannt durch die schönen Kiefernwälder oder in kurzer Zeit zum Strand oder zum Bahnhof Asari gefahren. Wir konnten uns hier sehr gut erholen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Brīnišķīgs namiņš dažu soļu attālumā no pludmales. Ļoti izbaudījām! Liels paldies!

If you are looking to have a peaceful place to stay and relax from crowded areas, this is a perfect place to stay. The beach is only 10 minutes away. Clean house with some activities to enjoy. Enjoyed every second of it.

The best relaxation for body and soul imaginable. The house had everything you needed and if something was missing, the owner kindly supplied it. 15 - 20 minutes to the sea or the local grocery store or restaurant (Jūras bite was great, the other one was ok, but not so good). Most of the time we sat on the terrace att the house, wrote, read and enjoyed the peace and nature around. But as we traveled by car so we did a few day trips to Sigulda and Limbaži, discovered that Sidrabiņi krog has a tiny shop with fantastic meat delicacies and and that Lembažu brewery has a good bear but you can only buy it in the local restaurants. We are grateful for the two amazing weeks and will definitely be back another time.

We had a wonderful stay here. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was very relaxing. Baiba is a great host. We enjoyed spending time on the lake, walking around and relaxing on the hammocks. We highly recommend staying here when in Latvia.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in Latvia. If you appreciate the magic of a nature, you want to enjoy the silence and beaty of a lake, forest around you, get away from the city - it is it. Host is very warm and nice person, house has everything you need and absolutely makes you feel like you are in your personal house. Nature around makes the magic. Totally recommend!
