Denisse and Karsten were fabulous host. They took the time to meet us at check in and did a quick introduction of the home and its amenities. The home was very clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. We were in Moscow for parents weekend and the location of the home to campus was only a few miles apart. It was fast and easy to get to the University and downtown.

Very close to U of I campus. A great place to stay if you bring the whole family to see the kids. Also a great place to stay if it’s just the parents! We stayed here with my parents. There was an extra room for my daughters (they are a bit homesick..). It was good to have the girls over for a night. Very clean. Excellent location. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The instructions for check-in and house rules were super clear and easy to follow, which made everything stress-free from the start. One of the unexpected highlights for us was the resident cat — such a sweet and gentle companion! Our children absolutely adored her and spent so much time playing and cuddling with her. It really made the whole experience feel even more like home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us — we’d love to come back someday!

Cost a lot of money more than I really wanted to pay but needed a place to stay for graduation. They were wonderful and did give a refund since we left a day earlier. They were so responsive and quick to respond and help ( locked us out of the house). Only thing was older house so could hear kids running around in morning but do think they left quickly in the morning because of that. All in all it was great place to stay and walkable to restaurants and down town.

The Almon House was the perfect place for myself and three teens to stay during our visit to U of I. Location was perfect, the kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs and the unit was beautifully decorated and welcoming! We will be staying here for all of our upcoming visits if it is available!!

It was a great place to stay while visiting Moscow. We look forward to coming back again!

Very clean and a great value!

This is our second time booking here because we enjoyed it so much. It's great for two people and within easy walk of Main street where there are nice classic cafes and restaurants.

We were lucky to get such a nice place at graduation time for less than many. There were lots of amenities including a cozy robe, everything a kitchen needs, and a washer dryer which we used. The description is accurate. It is a spacious studio. The pull out love seat was used with little complaint. Easy access to Moscow and in a pretty and peaceful neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is the second time we have stayed at "The Swede." Our youngest is a student at WSU and it's perfect! Emily is a thoughtful and responsive host. The house is in a quiet family neighborhood and has everything you need for a great stay. We will be booking again soon. Thanks for another great weekend.

Checked all the boxes! Welcome gift and note was extra kind. Close to my fave coffee shop. Cozy, comfy decor and neat kitchen. Super comfortable bed and fluffy towels. One of my favorite airbnbs-would def stay again and highly recommend.

Great place to stay while in Moscow. easy to walk to downtown and surrounding restaurants. Everything was brand new. Will be staying here again.

My husband and I have stayed at dozens of AirBnbs, and we agree that this is one of the nicest. Though it is a compact apartment that can't fit a dishwasher, that wasn't a big deal at all -- the kitchen is VERY nice and well stocked, and it is so thoughtfully designed that it feels like it has plenty of room, even though there were 4 adults (visiting for the WSU graduation). The two queen beds had excellent mattresses with high quality sheets, pillows and comforters -- likely the best Airbnb beds we've ever encountered. I loved the shower so much that I'm planning to order that Kohler combo showerhead. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The location -- just around the corner from Moscow's Main Street shops and restaurants -- is excellent. If your child were at UI, it would be truly unbeatable. Maybe my only issue was that on an unseasonably warm Friday night, a couple groups of students used an adjacent lot as a cut-through & woke us, but Saturday was quiet. Minor thing. Great place
