Lanquen : locations de vacances

We had a lovely stay in the treehouse! Brian and Paulina were super helpful and took a lot of the stress of planning away from us. They booked our transport from Lake Atitlan to Lanquín. When we arrived we were very hungry and were greeted by an incredible dinner! We also were very surprised that the bed was so comfortable and slept so well after the long day of traveling! The next morning Paulina prepared an amazing breakfast (we loved the pancakes!) We then walked to semuc champey entrance before all the crowds, we had an entire pool to ourselves for an hour and a half! They also connected us with Rudy (highly recommend!!) to be our guide through the cave and tubing. We ended our adventures for the day by chatting with Brian and enjoying the view on a small hike up their property. We enjoyed another family style dinner laughing with Brian, Silvia, and Paulina. And had our transport booked for us in the morning to Flores!

Unfassbarer Ort in der Nähe von Semuc Champey. Die Unterkunft liegt abseits im Jungle, und erfüllt genau das Abenteuer, dass man hier sucht. Natürlich bedeutet im Jungle auch entsprechend viele Insekten, aber dafür bucht man es ja auch: Abgelegen, mitten in der Natur. Michael & Team sind super, absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tubing aus Semuc Champey zum Hostel ist ein Must Do, und auch die Frühstück/Abendessen sind absolut zu empfehlen! Danke Michael, dass du so einen wunderbaren Ort aufgebaut hast und uns die Möglichkeit geboten hast dort zu sein!

Our stay at B'antiox was lovely. The treehouse is very beautiful, clean and in the middle of greenery and wildlife. Everyone was very nice and we felt absolutely welcome. Walking distance to Semuc Champey is only about 10 minutes. We can definitely recommend the food (dinner & breakfast). It was delicious :) They also helped us with organizing transport.

The experience begins with the reservation! Clear and well-signposted instructions. The location itself, nestled in the jungle, is magnificent. The price is very reasonable. An experience worth trying! Cons - Shower - Kitchen only for staff

We had a beautiful stay in this peaceful, remote hideaway — a perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Just a heads-up for future guests: there’s a short unpaved walk to reach the accommodation, so it may not suit anyone with mobility issues. We didn’t fully read the listing beforehand (our fault) and were surprised there was no hot water, but it wasn’t an issue — the water warms up in the sun during the day, so a daytime shower was perfectly comfortable. As it’s deep in nature, we did have insects come into the room at night when the lights were on, likely through small gaps in the door. We found that blocking the gap under the door helped stop this from happening. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a ceramic water filter, which was really handy. Jose is a fantastic host — super communicative and helped us organise transport and tours. Overall, it was a really special stay. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled experience.

El lugar es un espacio muy bonito, acogedor y tranquilo. Los ambientes son suficientes para una familia de 4 a 5 personas. Las Camas son cómodas, sábanas limpias y frescas. La cocina cuenta con lo básico para preparar algún tiempo de comida. La ubicación nos quedó excelente ya que está muy cercano a las atracciones como las Grutas de Lanquin y Semuc Champey. Muy agradecida por las recomendaciones de restaurantes. Mario y Jonathan siempre muy atentos. Un lugar recomendado para visitar muchas veces.

Good value accommodation and a convenient base to visit Semuc Champey. Very clean, good communication ahead of the visit and they organised our onward travel and made sure we got on the shuttle safely. The only thing missing for us was a coffee maker although they did offer breakfast. A microwave and utensils are mentioned in the facilities but there was no sign of them although I think we were offered use if we needed them. Our Spanish wasn't up to translating sadly! There were eating options nearby so it wasn't a problem

Cynthia was very kind and accommodating. When we arrived our hot shower didn't work so her and her husband immediately fixed it for us and they were helpful for providing information. Very nice people!

we really enjoyed our stay here. unfortunately our room only had cold water in the shower or we were just not able to use it correctly. we really loved the place. the huts are very nice, you can hear the sounds of the jungle at night and there is beautiful wildlife and the river passing right at the hotel. the restaurant serves food for a reasonable price and there is always water available to fill up your bottles.
