David was a professional host that provided a spacious and squeaky clean cottage for our family. The space was peaceful for our family of six and we had plenty of room to gather along with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sightseeing, snowshoeing, and skiing in the region. David also left us an awesome apple pie that was the best I have tasted since my Grandmother's homemade apple pie.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Kelley’s beautiful property. We had a guys weekend for the Keyes Peak uphill snow drags and this charming house was the perfect house for us! It was spotless, slept all 6 of us comfortably, and had great instructions for everything. Would recommend this to anybody wanting a peaceful getaway with amazing views and wildlife!

This property is not to be missed if you want a private, peaceful getaway on a beautiful sand beach. The weather we enjoyed was perfect and the sunrises and sunsets were beyond AMAZING!! At night, the stars lit up the sky as we sat on the beach by the firepit and just relaxed while reviewing our day. There is a grocery store and some restaurants in Manistique for food, about a 12-15 minute drive. Nice central location to explore and we were able to make day trips to Pictured Rocks, Marquette, Mackinac Island, and some other local attractions. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are new, beds are comfortable with good linens, home is very clean, downstairs is cozy, upstairs is bright and light. No AC and we did have to break out the fans in the master which gets the most sunlight, but the cool nights would cool things down again. Highly recommend and would stay again!!

Absolute GEM of a cabin! The space is clean and comfortable, lots of wildlife to be seen through the many windows, tons of puzzles and games for rainy days, and the automatic fireplace kept us nice and cozy in the evenings. The area is quiet, private, and relaxing - but it only takes 10min to get to town for groceries (Trigs!), restaurants, and shopping. It was too cold for kayaking when we were there, but the lake looked ideal for it. There's plenty of firewood for the firepit, a well stocked kitchen, and a spacious deck for taking in the lake views. Miranda responded promptly and was extremely accommodating. TLDR: stop searching and book this cabin!

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

The McMillan property was on a beautiful large lake. At this time of year, it was very quiet and I enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out over the lake. Very well stocked kitchen. Nice size property. Very good for long stays. I thoroughly enjoyed my time!

We spent a long weekend here over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property is exactly as pictured and we had plenty of space for our group of 8. Beautiful views and the home was outfitted with everything we needed. Would highly recommend this rental and looking forward to coming back to enjoy during warmer weather.

This is the third time we’ve stayed in this home, and each time is a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, the accommodations are great and the view in the morning is incredible. Shane was extremely responsive and helpful. We’ll be booking again!

One of the best we have rented! Loved everything about it. Home was perfect size for our group and it was immaculate and very well organized! Lots of love and care is put into this place and it shows! Its not too far from town which is what we wanted but also a perfect distance away for quietness. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

The house was clean, and in a covenant location. The views were beautiful. The house comfortably slept our 8 guests. Perfect winter get away.

The cabin was exactly as described and so much more. Anything and everything you could ever need for a stay. Was up for snowmobiling and location was great! Donald went so far above and beyond to make us comfortable. I can't say enough good things about Donald and his wife and their cabin. We will definitely return. This is definitely a lake Superior treasure!!

We had a great time! The house is even better in person. It was perfect for our group and the location was amazing... the views were stunning and the house was so open and well laid out... were hoping to go back in the summer time!

Sarah and Walter are excellent hosts!!! We loved all the treats from local shops. They supplied us with more than enough extras and made us feel very special. We had a wonderful stay in the winter wonderland of Trout Lake. Sarah and Walter even came out to snow blow the driveway and check in on us during our extended stay. We never lost power during a once in a lifetime ice/snow storm. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!!

Our blended family from Wisconsin and Michigan had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for the 9 of us. The location was great, because half of us wanted to go snowshoeing, while the other half wanted to go skiing/snowboarding. The sunsets over Twin Lake were to die for both nights we were there. Alivia and Cody were quick with responses to questions and requests. Their instructions on how to reach the house were spot on.

Great place for a snowmobile trip! Trail is only 1.5 miles down the road. The view of superior was fantastic and the house was a comfortable place to hang out when we weren't riding.

The house was exactly as pictured. One of the few stays where I was able to cook breakfasts and dinners and had everything I needed. The main family room with the fireplace was cozy and relaxing. We typically chose the places we stay for the sauna and this one was one of the best. It heated up quickly and steamed well. The lake view was amazing with peak color and close to fun outdoorsy things we love when in the UP.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! It was an up north oasis! The crisp winter air, the pines looking over the frozen lake, the fresh winter snow…perfection! The home was cozy and warm after a day outside. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. We will be returning for a future weekend away!

The place is beautiful, peaceful, stylish and has a lot of things to do. Katie was very responsive and thought through every detail. Thank you for having us at your place, we will be back for sure.

such a beautiful place. right on the lake amazing view. nothing tops sitting in the hot tub and staring out onto the lake. such a relaxing stay and they provided everything we needed inside.

We had a great time celebrating an 80th birthday party at Eileen's home. This property is right on the water, which is very appealing. The Bay is peaceful and serene. We would bring our kayaks along if we stay again (boat landing near by). The steps to get to the water were a bit difficult for our older family members to navigate. We loved the flat greenspace for playing outdoor games. Handy to have on site laundry and open concept kitchen/ dining/ living room. The loft area is open to the kitchen, so not the best area for light sleepers or late rizers:) Loved our time there, it's a special place!!

Stayed in the area numerous times, but this is the first time at this location. We had a snowmobile group stay for an extended weekend and the house catered to our needs very well. Although a little slow with communication, our host was very polite. Also the driveway of the location catered to our vehicles with larger trailers very nicely. Would consider this location again.
