Solar generator and battery powered lanterns throughout the cabin for light at night. Pretty and modern outside bathroom (outhouse) located steps from cabin.

Spacious Family Cabin, Hot Tub & Pet Friendly!

Getaway with the whole family, including your pup! Tucked away in a forest with a large deck overlooking the pond, everyone can enjoy. Ammenities include an oversized sofa, extra large flat screen, gas fireplace, and beautiful kitchen. Please note, the owner Russell does reside in the lower unit from May-early January. Beautifully restored log cabin in the famous Bobcaygeon Forest. Enjoy hiking the kilometres of private trails and view the abundant wildlife. Bring your equine friend and enjoy the trail system designed for them. We have stalls, free choice hay program and exceptionally large paddocks. We are a pet friendly booking. The Nest on Irondale River in Geocaching Capital

The Nest is a one room cabin with a screened in porch. There is a queen bed with sheets, queen pillows and comforter. Relax by the river or take out a kayak and paddle upstream to the rapids. After a BBQ dinner, enjoy smores at the large campfire pit. Meander the trails throughout the property and just be. Everything is here for a simple but soul restoring getaway. There is no shower and the toilet is in an outhouse.

Located about 40 meters from our restaurant, few hundred acres of natural forest just steps away. The cabin equipped with heat pump and gas fireplace, and there’s a fire pit outside for our guests to enjoy the camp fire.
