Beautiful place for the kids to get outdoors along with a wide space indoors for more intimate family time. Absolutely loved our stay here.

We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lantern. Tucked away in the stunning Wollombi Valley, this secluded getaway is pure magic. The views of the meadow are simply breathtaking - especially in the morning and at sunset. We loved watching the kangaroos grazing just outside the cabin. The cabin itself is beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully considered. It’s the perfect balance of simplicity and luxury, offering a sense of calm and comfort that’s hard to find. The hot tub under the stars was an absolute highlight - such a peaceful way to end the day. If you’re looking to unplug and immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

Fantastic accomodation, beautifully presented, great location. Would suit a family with kids or a large group, plenty of room for everybody.

Great, quiet location and comfortable house. Nicely renovated bathroom and kitchen. No laundry though. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring. We saw a wombat, kangaroos and kookaburra. The birds were lovely to wake up to in the morning and the fireplace was beautiful to relax in front of.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

Definitely up there as one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Spotless and private space and an easy five minute drive to either Ettalong or Umina Beach. It was an incredibly well designed space, from the pocket doors to small tables next to power points to hold your devices, cereals and barbecue condiments available in the kitchen. The space was incredibly private with no line of visibility into the little self-contained flat. Would love to stay here again!

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

We stayed at the boathouse on Dangar Island and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. It was so peaceful and quiet, with the most stunning views—literally on the beach, looking out at the water. Waking up to that view every morning was bliss! The island itself is beautiful, we really enjoyed exploring and the Dangar Island Depot was lovely to have a coffee and some food, again with great views over the water! Our hosts were amazing—super friendly, helpful, and made us feel totally at home. The whole experience was just really special, and we’re already dreaming of going back.

We had a great weekend away at Larissa’s air bnb. From the moment we walked in we were so happy we chose it. After a busy start to the year it was just what we needed🧘‍♀️. The cabin is super peaceful and beautifully decorated. The location is excellent and a short walk to local cafes and beaches. It was our first time staying on the central coast and would definitely recommend staying here to other people if you are deciding between air bnb’s in the area😊🌸☕️☀️

A fantastic stay in a rustic cabin. Mackerel Beach is a stunning spot, and this cabin makes the most of it with an incredible upper deck offering breathtaking views—not to mention what might be the best outdoor shower I’ve ever experienced! The perfect escape from the city to unwind and explore the simple things — cooking, bush trails, walks and swimming. We took our two young boys who loved it (they were also absolutely fine making the journey up to the cabin).

We stayed at La Cabane for three nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The space was exactly as described: beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect; peaceful and private, yet just a short stroll to the beach. That easy beach access quickly became one of our favourite things. It felt like we had our own little sanctuary. This was hands-down one of the most relaxing getaways we’ve had. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our next stay. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

The loft villa was absolutely fantastic. Everything I had imagined and more. The view was amazing, quiet and peaceful, dozens of Wallabies right out the front at sunrise and on sunset. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away in a fantastic location.

Marcs place was exactly as described. It has a cute beachy vibe, and was everything we needed for our stay. Marc was also very accommodating with check in and check out. This was greatly appreciated and we would 100% stay again!
