We enjoyed our family time together sitting around the firepit, kayaking, and playing games around the dining room table. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and on the chilly days we even enjoyed sitting next to the fire indoors. When one of the showers wasn't working properly Tim came to fix it within a few hours of us letting him know. Our family from the UAE and South Africa enjoyed the cottage experience.

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lotus Lake Retreat. The inside of the property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not spend much time outside due to family living on the lake and celebrating a birthday party. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here (winter, fall and now spring) and we will keep coming back. So much to do! Kayaks and a canoe, fire pit; swing set , volleyball court, and a beautiful deck and lounging in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked and lots of throw blankets makes this the perfect place to get away to.

This house was beautiful. Very clean, friendly neighborhood and a short walk to the lake. Would recommend this home to anyone.

My husband and I loved this place and we were able to bring our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck, soaking in the beautiful view. We only slept in the main bedroom downstairs, but that bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We didn’t have the best weather, so the many streaming services was a plus. I would like to return in the summer. I didn’t realize that the water level of the lake in April would be so low. The two of us really enjoyed our stay, but this home would also be the perfect place for a family to rent.

Absolutely loved our stay at this property for our annual fishing trip. The house was spotless, spacious, and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the layout made it easy for a large group to relax and enjoy themselves. Plenty of parking, great outdoor space, and easy access to local marinas. The host was responsive and accommodating, making check-in and communication a breeze. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained home base for a group getaway. Five stars all the way.

We had an amazing stay at Ava’s lake house! The pictures truly do not do it justice. The view of the lake was incredible—we spent hours sitting outside, enjoying the peaceful scenery, having a fire, and watching the boats go by. The home felt like our own, with all the comforts we needed, including everything for grilling and making breakfast. It was so cozy, private, welcoming, and the perfect spot to relax. We did not want to leave. This was, by far, my favorite Airbnb experience yet. We can’t wait to come back!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Such a cool spot — you immediately feel transported to a different place. We found ourselves forgetting we were even in Ohio anymore! It’s also close to everything and there’s a bike path right at the end of the street. Highly recommend!

Patricia's place was super clean and was very responsive to me when I had questions, since I've never stayed at an Airbnb before. Was very homey and such a great location, I'll definitely have to come back again!

I recently stayed at Stephane and Lisa's and had just a wonderful experience from start to finish! I was in town to enjoy Pelee National Park. This bnb is in a perfect location - close to many beautiful beaches, parks, and great amenities. Stephane and Lisa were great hosts - very friendly, helpful, and responsive. They offered great insights on what I could find in the area. The bnb itself was perfect for my stay! You can tell that they've put a lot of love and genuine care into their home, property, and the bnb. The bnb featured very comfortable couches, a kitchen fully stocked with any pots/pans/utensils that you may need, a lovely kitchen table area, comfortable couches for relaxing in the living room, and a very nice bathroom with some of the hottest shower water I've ever had (much appreciated after a long day outside!). I had a wonderful time and I look forward to staying with them in the future. Thank you Stephane and Lisa for helping to make my trip extra special!

From the moment we arrived, Carm and her husband were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful—making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was spotless and well-equipped with all the amenities we could ask for. The highlight had to be the stunning backyard overlooking Lake Ontario—waking up to that view every morning was pure magic! We also enjoyed a cozy fire in the backyard, which made our evenings even more special. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and beautiful scenery. Leanne’s place was so cozy and a great stay for a weekend spent skiing at Peek n peak resort! She was so kind and always responded quickly to any questions we had. She was flexible for our check in and check out times which is really appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent host, fantastic property!

We had a great stay at Lelie and Aaron's place! The location was perfect, with water views on either side. The hot tub/pool area was nice for relaxing at the end of a day at Put in Bay. we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect size for 2 friends. Bathroom large and well laid out with plenty of room to leave out toiletries. Kitchen good size and had all the necessary dishes plus a dishwasher! Loved the setting on a quiet road across from the lake. Very neighbourhoody. Good sized deck out front for hanging out and listening to the birds. As a birder the PPNP pass was a happy bonus!

Great cottage! Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful beach which was a short walk away and the lovely yard. We had several bonfires and enjoyed the cozy cottage environment. Wonderful stay!

perfect place for a fishing trip!

Absolutely amazing stay! We loved the house and it would be great to return. We decided to visit Niagara falls in the winter, it was our first time in the area. I wasn't expecting much of our stay, but it turned out to be a beautiful romantic weekend. The house is right by the lake and has a gorgeous view. You can tell that it was build to be actually used by the hosts and not just a rental property, it is very well-made, cosy, with a lot of nice details and a fully equipped kitchen. We had an great time having breakfast and looking at the lake Ontario. 100% would recommend to stay there!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host was proactive, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire experience. The cottage was exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful, clean, and cozy. What truly made it special was the extra touch: she had added a “Happy Birthday” decoration for my girlfriend, which made the celebration even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or host. Highly recommend!
