The home is close to downtown Austin and 6th St, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and food trucks nearby. To Rainey Street & downtown: walk or bike on the hike and bike trail or along popular Holly Street. If you're up for a little adventure, you can get downtown / Congress Bridge by kayak (25 min depending on wind) Ride Sharing: Ride Austin, Fasten, Fare, Wings Bike Rental: Green Frog (weekly, daily); Red Bike stands Bus: #17 bus to the convention center; #22 goes cross town to Mopac Walking distance from Rainey Street, Cesar Chavez, East 6th Street, and just over a mile to downtown & the convention center This is our beautiful, newly built home. It can sleep 4 people, although the space would be a little tight for 4 adults. There is a king sized bed, and a sleeper sofa which can be used together as a full sized, or option to separate into 2 twins. Escape to this private studio, detached from our main home. The Lady Bird Lake hike & bike trail is right outside, where you can use our bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks. Open the blackout cellular shades to feel suspended among the trees & see Monk parakeets, and many other birds. This studio makes excellent use of the space above our 2-car garage with an elegant bathroom, organic mattress, & butcher block countertops. 2G Google Fiber wifi It's tight for 3 or 4 people.
