Enjoyed our stay. The cleanliness and location exceeded our expectations.

I can’t tell you enough great things about our stay. We stayed a week for our annual family vacation and it definitely ranks number 1 in best trips. The house had the right amount of space. We felt at home and it was so welcoming for our dogs as well. I forgot dog bowls of all things but there were some there to use. The game area was well used by our adult kids lol. The neighborhood was nice and it is close to everything. I look forward to staying again soon.

This is a great place to stay and reasonably priced. Kathleen always responded quickly to any question I had. Lots of towels, blankets and linens were available. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend this host and listing.

5 stars all around! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! You can feel the love in this home! My 3 year old now views our real home and “not beautiful” and this oak island home as “so beautiful.” Haha! We enjoyed our strolls to the beach across the bridges over the grasses and kayaking waterways. Everyone was so comfortable in this house, including our doggo. Willis and Brooke are amazing hosts and we can’t wait to come back. PS! The beds are comfortable! One is firmer and one is softer, which we love to have options! The bathroom is roomy and has lots of natural light. You’re close to everything. Oak Island is a dream and this home is the epitome of beach comfort and love!

This place is such a beautiful space and the beds are so comfortable. Megan made me feel right at home and the loft is so cute and was perfect for my kids.

This is a great find, close to the beach and stores but tucked away. We walked to the beach felt less than 8 min and beautiful walk. We love the decor and hot tub. Also a ton of games rods and tackle. We will be back.

This house is beautiful! The layout is great, the back yard is a huge bonus, it is close to every thing, and it is in a cute neighborhood. The bedrooms are large, the water pressure (chef's kiss) was amazing, and the beds were comfortable. it also has a great kitchen and living room that is all open concept. We evacuated here after Helene and booked quickly late at night. Justin was quick to respond and immediately offered to help us out. He not only helped us, but also brought resources to our area that was completely devastated by the storm. He checked in on us and made sure we were taken care of. Justin is not only an exceptional host, but he is an exceptional human being. I cannot thank him enough. Stay at this house and rent from Justin, it is worth every penny!

I couldn't recommend this place enough! The house is beautiful and the outside area is an amazing place to hangout. It is within walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Check-in and check-out process was easy and the host gave a great website on instructions for check-in and check-out process and local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

very much enjoyed our stay! was close enough to walk to the beach if we wanted to. Took a nice bike ride with the provided bikes! Felt at home with my pups first beach trip! would definitely plan a trip back!

. Our stay was wonderful, comfortable, relaxing and fun. We appreciated the fire pit and made s’mores.. enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool…The surrounding area was filled with a full day of fun things for my granddaughter to do. We had a short but sweet stay! The location is pretty unbeatable if you’re not going to be waterfront. Easy walk across the bridge to public accesses and restaurants and coffee! The backyard was fantastic for our toddler to run around freely and safely. The hosts were the best kind of people. They were friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again! I’m very familiar with the area and the house felt like a secluded getaway from the tourists and traffic on the island. Big bonus!

I will definitely be coming back again and again, Lisa was such an amazing host, she’s the sweetest, super attentive, very helpful, and the place was clean, spacious, and made me feel right t home. Such a pleasant experience for my first time in Wilmington!

This was just what we needed. Studio with comfy king bed and refrigerator/coffee machine/microwave. Designated parking spot in driveway. Couldn’t even hear the people staying in the other unit, and we loved that we could walk (~20 min) to the main downtown area. Would stay again!

We were in town for a horseshow and the location was amazing! Ginger had all the menus and assured me how close it was. We could hear the announcing off in the distance!! perfect! The kitchen was well stocked and she had set food in the fridge to get us started and there was no worry about breakfast. Her thoughtfulness and friendliness was a breath of fresh air in crazy horse show days. She even ran me a cup of coffee when I needed it! I can not say enough how wonderful Ginger and Terry are. If you are looking for a lake get away, look no further! Fair warning, if there is a Paint Horse Show in town, you need to book before I do!! It was so peaceful, quiet, and comfortable, we had a nice respite at the end of long days. Thank you Terry and Ginger for sharing your amazing space with us! Cheers

Amazing stay if you are looking for a simple and quiet place this is it. It is in a great location only a mile from the beach. Definitely will be coming back to stay.

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, exactly what I needed. I loved the layout—it was thoughtfully designed and felt so inviting. Everything was spotless, which made the experience even better. The outdoor space was stunning, and the TV on the patio was such a great touch! It was so quiet and serene, making it the perfect getaway. I truly enjoyed my visit and can’t wait to come back and stay even longer next time

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times. This time we brought our daughter and she had an amazing time and told us that she wants to come back! She loved her loft bed and Miss Jamie and Mr. Jared so much and they were so nice and always wanted to go find “Mr. Bear “the cat. She also enjoyed the hammock too! We would always feel so welcome whenever we got there and throughout our stay, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay, very clean and has all the amenities as you would need and plus so close to the beach! It’s like going home to see Family every time we go feeling welcome, and you couldn’t get much more than that when you go. We stayed in “Torguga” as we always do it’s our favorite spot and love every inch of it! If we needed anything, they were right there to help or answer any questions that we had! We will definitely be back!!!

Great location - walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, but very peaceful. Great place - fenced in yard for the dog, well equipped kitchen, lots of space for people to hang out, comfortable beds. This is our second time staying and we hope to be be back.

Our end of the year trip was nothing but amazing! Thank you for creating a safe clean space and surroundings. We look forward to rebooking this property and the one next door in the near future for a family trip. The distance from Wilmington and Carolina Beach was a pleasant drive. We even found Los Portales Taqueria and highly recommend for authentic Mexican food. Red dog farms was private and very well kept with plenty of space to enjoy a morning walk or coffee on the porch. Bottom line book it!!! :)

This place was perfect. Better than what I was expecting. Peaceful and quiet. The first morning of my stay my battery died on my truck and I asked for help jumping it off because I didn’t know anyone in the area and Susan responded quickly and came and jumped me off. Thank you again Susan. But over all exceeded my expectations.

Kim’s house was a great place to stay! It was only a short car ride to downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, a great loop to walk the dogs. The house was decorated beautifully and very unique. The dogs (and us) loved the backyard. Kim was a great host and very responsive. Would definitely stay again in the future!
