Its very close to Noordhoek beach but also the central attractions of Cape Town via the amazing. Noordhoek is a peaceful character rich place with great restaurants, farm shops, horses and lot and lots of beach and hiking trails. We have a cozy fireplace for winter and BBQ for summer. Windsor House, recently restored by Genevieve and Peter, on the first floor of the building, is an exquisite 19th century apartment situated in the absolute heart of Kalk Bay village, overlooking the lively and historic Kalk Bay Harbour. With grand views across the azure sea of False Bay to the magnificent Hottentots Holland mountain range, Windsor House is a treat. We have just added a strong inverter and batteries to the establishment. This provides power back up during load shedding.

Power outages are being experienced by SA but we have tried to minimalise the effect for our guests - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.
